Hades sighed and stretched his back until it popped in a few places. The Furies around him immediately started rubbing his back and shoulders. He had been working hard to bring back this Ari girl. It wasn't exactly easy to bring back someone from the dead, not even for a god.

Ari was alive now, but her body and consciousness were in limbo. They were in an in-between dimension. He had to focus now on teleporting her to her bed in Bai Ching. Before Aphrodite and her girls had left, Hades had telepathically asked Alecto to find Ari's room in Bai Ching. When she had come back, he had read her mind and now could 'see' Ari's room as if he had been he one standing in it instead of Alecto. He could teleport her to her room now.

... Or he could if he didn't feel like there was a wall blocking him from teleporting her body even into Bai Ching, let alone her own room. What in the name of Olympus was going on?

He tried to move her forward again, but the block was still there.

Hades groaned in frustration when he heard the voice in his head. This Vanessa better be the best damn Prophetess there had ever been for him to be going to this much trouble.

"I am Hades, God of the Underworld. Aphrodite requested that I bring a girl back from the dead, a girl named Ari. I'm trying to teleport her from the limbo dimension into her room, but I can't seem to get her through. I'm guessing that that is your doing."

Musica looked over at Nessie, not very impressed. He could understand her outburst if it was just about him, but he was defending her. Things were so much better when he didn't care about people, and could care less about any of the Godly feuds. So badly he wished he could rid himself of emotion once more, finding that he greatly missed the peace it brought him.

He shrugged his shoulders, taking another swig of his flask. If she wanted to be used as an item in a trade, then fine. Musica was satisfied to not understand the mind of the American. Then again, he never understood Americans. Sammy was the only exception, but that was probably because of her youth. Musica could be civil until this whole predicament was over, hopefully it wouldn't be too long. He planned on leaving anyway, taking with him those who wanted to go. That is if he wanted them too.

Going over to sit in a chair, he felt his head continue it's aching, and even soon felt his wounds reopen. That was the power of Nikolaus, before he had even been upgraded. It was enough to strike slight fear in the heart of Musica. "Very well then, I believe I can handle your demands for such a short time Miss Vanessa. Then you'll be rid of me, and I shall not be problematic anymore." He said slightly smirking, blood slowly dripping down from his scalp.

She was nothing, in nothing… but aware of the nothing. She wanted to speak, but she felt like she wasn’t being heard. She didn’t know who she was, nor where she was, only that she wanted to get out… had to get out…

The girl suddenly felt a jerk, as if someone had grabbed her around her waist, and was pulling her. With the sound of rushing water, she was brought towards this horrible white light…

Ari sat straight up in her room in Bai Ching, her hand pressing against the place where Nikolaus had stabbed her. She was alive? How? She had died! She had felt it… Ari shuddered. Removing her hand, she only saw a scar where the knife had pierced her. She scrambled out of bed, and ran to the mirror. Her own face looked back at her, slim, delicate, and wide-eyed. Yet, something about her was different, though she couldn’t place exactly what it was. She felt different. Maybe it was something in her eyes. Yeah, had to be the eyes.

It was then Ari let loose a laugh. It was an odd sound, empty… hollow even, like someone who had heard a joke too many times for it to be funny anymore. Odd. Still, she was alive. Was Nessa awake? Suddenly, her mind was filled with concern for her best friend. She quickly left her room, the girls that were milling around in the hallway parted away from her path like the Red Sea. They too, sensed something was off about her. Ari pushed the matter to the back of her mind.

It only took a few minutes to reach the Infirmary, but she hesitated. Even outside the door, she could sense Aphrodite and Musica. She wasn’t worried about Aphrodite… it was Musica she wanted, (yet did not want), to see. Steeling herself, she grasped the handles of the double doors, and swung both of them open.

”Hey everyone… miss me?”

Aphrodite looked at the clock on the wall. "Fifteen minutes... a personal best for him, I think," she muttered, smiling. "Welcome back, lovely," she said warmly, blowing a kiss at Ari.

Ari gave Nessa a calm, if a bit bemused, hug. "I'm glad you're awake!" she said, smiling. Nessa seemed a bit taken aback, and then smiled. "Me too! It's no fun missing stuff..." she trailed off. Ari looked to Aphrodite. "... thanks for bringing me back. You didn't have to, but you did. Thanks, Aphrodite." The woman looked uncomfortable, and gave a smile. Ari then looked to Musica, an eyebrow raised. "Don't let Ness chase you out of town... you were here first, you know," she stated.

{{Yay! We've got movement! I have to say that I've never seen that happen before in an RP. We were building to a climax in the story, and then everyone just stops for a few days. That was weird! lol! But it seems to be moving again! biggrin }}
