Rei shrugged. She didn't not want to, so she swam over there. She was feeling very apathetic and detached, and it kind of worried her.

"...yeah," Rei said. "Just...thinking." It was true; she was thinking - about what could be wrong with her that she'd be acting like this. She was usually detached and wasn't interested by many things, but she'd never felt like doing nothing before. To be disinterested in everything, not even objecting to doing something, but to just not care, it worried her.

Rei looked down briefly, ashamed that she had lied to Kai. But she didn't want to worry him at all. After all, it could be nothing, though she didn't think so.
