((Ah, I've just been kinda making up plots as I go along, trying to link up various plots with new ones, and ending the old. I seldom ever have anything thought up beforehand, actually. I've always just written whatever comes to mind at the time, and then re-visit it later with a whole new idea. 3nodding ))

The creature just made his shots...dissolve into it's skin. The blue light pulsed occasionally, emitting waves of Shivasai energy as a counter-attack. Vexis suddenly disappeared, then re-solidified right behind Jad. Her sharp claws/blade-bones were lightly pressed up against the back of his neck, threatening to cut into him at any time. The dark-eyed Vexis had a devious grin on her/it's face, one that you would see on the face of the psycho-killer in any terrible and overly-gory horror movie. "You cannot escape the mist."

"Uh... yeah... sure... but you're up against a bierium wall..." Jad ducked as one of the bridge drones fired a particle shield over her.

"And now YOU can't escape my Bierium-forcefield prison, lest you wish to be ripped apart on the molecular level and have random atoms of your body reverse polarity! And if you escape that... then... I've got nothing... I have my keys anyways!" Jad said, dashing down the hall.

(Oh yes)

((Ah, yes, but "Logic does not apply" is a two-way loophole, therefore I, too, could use that excuse to escape. ninja

But wait, can Jad even die if it's by physical cause and not by disease or toxins? confused I've always been confused on that, I know he has nanobots to filter out toxins, and that he seems to have no particular life span, but what if, say, he was accidentally landed on by the universe's heaviest space ship? xd Or if he was beheaded? ))

The creature was captured in the force field, it just eyed the barrier for a moment. The blue light brightened briefly, and sent off a wave of Shivasai energy. Which, since Shivasai energy was a mutated version of Novias, it's cell-structure was different from Novias. And therefore, not even Pyresian technology could completely absorb/dissipate it. Shivasai energy was much more solid in form, it is more of a blunt energy -used mainly for forceful attacks, whereas Novias was more wispy and versatile.

The energies of the Shivasai and barrier collided, Vexis just stood back and watched as both energies faded in strength. Although, her desire to kill seemed to become less once Jad left the room...maybe it was only when she sees Jad that it triggers that attack command in her mind? The color of her eyes started to lighten up a bit again, returning to pink eventually. The blue light sent off one more wave of energy, then completely faded from her skin again. Vexis fell down to her knees again, but did not pass out this time. She looked around the room, confused and dizzy. Only the Pyresian drone, Marth, and Blake seemed to still be here...'Grand Admiral Jackass' must have left when she passed out...

...little did Vexis realize what really happened.

((I really only wish that I didn't have to give Blake *of all people* the levitation and other powers. Maybe Marth was the intended recipient... humans aren't supposed to get that power. But Marth was far away....))

Marth was withdrawn into his own world now, not even hearing or realizing the events happening outside. He was on his knees, now, and were he to start pounding the ground, or floor, in his agony, he might very well rip a hole in that floor. Despite whatever material the Pyresians had used to build it.

Blake only watched with sad eyes. Then he realized that he could be off levitating things... and mentally slapped himself. This was no time to be thinking of such things.

Blake motioned for Vexis to follow, quietly, and then left the room for the adjacent hall. He was going to leave, and it would likely be wise for her to do so as well, regardless of whether she cared about what was really going on.

Jad was now out of his ship and in the massive empty hangar. there were no lights brightning the bay except for the ones glowing from his own ship's windows. Now wearing his combat armor, Jad ran towards one of the many entrances to the bay.
