That's interesting. Who the hell was banned for being pro-choice?

I'm trying to remember if Darkfire was banned from the guild, and vaguely remembering that even after he was warned he continued to troll in threads.

It's news to me that we ban people for being pro-choice.

Wow. Out of 599 current users, KP doesn't remember every single member by name. He also doesn't remember the content of every one of the 15,758 posts. Our leader is a human and not a computer! Oh no! Let's join in making fun of someone just for the hell of it, because he's anti-choice, and there's no such thing as an intelligent anti-choicer, they're all hicks! It's sorta like there's no such thing as tolerance to an intelligent person. Intelligent people need to be self-absorbed and unwilling to accept that other intelligent people can think differently! Intelligent people all think exactly the same thing, and that is what I think because I am the definition of intelligence!

Yeah... I was wondering that too. I know that some Pro-Choicers have made themselves unwelcome here and they stop posting, but I don't know of any Pro-Choicers (Aside from DarkFire) who were actually banned. And he's just trouble all around (No offense if you're reading this. xd You know it to be true...)

Not to mention that, if they -were- banned, she specifically mentioned a thread being locked because it said that abortion wasn't murder.

a) If I remember correctly, that thread was locked because we already had a thread, made by a well known Pro-Lifer, that was, at the time, stickied for it's importance, I believe.

b) They -don't- have a right to come in here and start lecturing us on being Pro-Life. But even then, we let it happen for a while with Talon-Chan. When we allowed Pro-Choicers, it was to the purpose of making sure that we didn't go overboard in our insults/bashing/etc. of Pro-Choicers. Which, ironically, we do pretty well at curbing without one of them here, something you can't say for our friendly opposites... *Ahem*. Moving on.

In that same vein, if you look through the logs, you will see that the last time a Pro-Lifer posted in their forum was over a year ago. Most likely, this was long before we disallowed Pro-Choicers joining, and before we even changed the rules to limit Pro-Choice participation (I think we did that at one point, right? Specifically said, "We don't mind you joining if you're Pro-Choice, as long as you aren't here to argue"?). And he was asking for information he felt that they would have more readily accessible, it didn't turn into a debate (Just some friendly bantering). And before that the last one was a year and a half ago, and he was asking some basic opinions of them, also not debating or arguing. Just asking. He never even replied to anything said in the topic. And before that? No Pro-Life posts ever, as far as I can tell (Although, I only looked up kp606 and Master Kaiser as the two most likely to have posted anything.)

He didn't ban anyone. Veled is still a member, I believe. Mikami mighta left, who knows? McPhee is still a member, and was the entire time that he was pro-choice. Sachiko_sohma is still here, though I'm not sure if she's pro-choice anymore. I'm not sure if Joyish is or not. Talon-chan left because everyone was getting worked up in a thread where she equated us with card carrying KKK members. There is no problem with being pro-choice and being a member of this guild, the problem comes when you start disrespecting people in here. If I was a member of the pro-choice guild, I obviously wouldn't start calling people anti-life and saying their objective is to kill babies, to their faces or behind their backs, it does nothing to help better understanding between the two causes and only serves to widen the gap between sides. I'd expect the same sort of respect here, but I guess that some people can't do that, just like some people in here wouldn't be able to go in there without saying something about baby-killing. It's natural, it's understandable, but it isn't welcome here to bash members and lecture them for being pro-life, just like you don't bash members there for being pro-choice. People who do so repeatedly should expect no less than banning. Fortunately, that hasn't happened much here.

Someone, I think sachiko_sohma, made an "Adoption is an option" thread over there and it got bashed. It wasn't saying, abortion should be illegal, it was pointing out that adoption was a choice available and being pro-choice isn't all about abortion.

Jabber, don't freak, but last night I dreamnt I was in Can-a-da, and we ended up meeting (avi form...which was hellishly weird) and we both ended up smoking cigars. o.o which makes sence because nothing in tht dream made sence.
