I'm glad you're feeling okay, and I'm also glad you get to write that thing for her. I didn't get to do anything like that with any of my parental figures, so I'm thinking that will help you with all of it. Not to mention you should be the one to write it.

I've never gotten the chance to watch Grey's Anatomy, really. It always intrigued be, but something always came up when I tried to watch it. If it's anything like ER/better than it, then I bet I'd get sucked into it pretty easily.

Always wanted to see LOST too, but whenever I'd try to rent it back when I worked at Blockbusters, it was always rented out. I think we have posters for some of the seasons though...

Aaaah, know what's hilarious? Well scattering ashes isn't exactly illegal, but the funeral home people were like- 'weeelll... as long as no one sees it... and our ashes are very fine.'

I'm gonna go up in the fall to Door County (wine country) and scatter them there. I don't think I could keep the ashes with me forever....

And yeah, we all agreed over everything. (In fact I talked to my uncle, and they'd both want cremation too, except my grandma has a plot for burial) So.... now at least I know that stuff. razz

Yeah, I wrote something and showed it to Liz, and it made her cry a bit, so I guess it's good. razz I'm gonna write a Eulogy too. And the best part is I'm not sure how one's supposed to go about that, so by winging it it'll be all the more awesome. razz

We're posting it in the Waupaca County post here, and in the Marshfield post (where she grew up) and it'll be on the radio..... might write a shorter one for marshfield because it's expensive. xP

@Cassy: I'm glad you're getting to write all of it yourself - and I'm very glad you have a couple of supportive family members that aren't trying to shove in on what's your right. Too often are times of need made worse by grabby-handed aunts and uncles. =/ And it sounds like the area where you're going to scatter the ashes is pretty - "wine country" makes me think rolling hills of green grass.

You MUST give me advice on learning to drive. I want my driver's license by my birthday (which is in September so I have plenty of time.)

ABOUT DRIVING:

So, get the booklet. Study. Pass the test. Get the permit. Aaaand.....

For me:

1. Don't press so hard on the gas
2. Make sure to be watching things upoming from far away as well as things up close
3. TRY TO READ THE ROAD SIGNS

Are you afraid to drive? I am. So... as a new driver those three things are what trip me up.

I ... do not read road signs. Nor can I follow them? People everywhere have been offering to.... like.... teach me. Aaand... one.. she's the kind of person who has a quiet voice.. but the tone... xD It's like 'Cassy.... Cassy..... now what you did wrong there........... is that you should have stopped, instead of pressing down on the gas and mowing down that pedestrian. You always... always have to stop before the white line, okay? Alright? Alright.'

XD So just... try not to panic, don't get the 'deer in the headlights' look, because the deer doesn't drive the car, the deer gets hit by it and then someone comes up and puts it in their trunk and makes sausage out of it.

Oh man... and now there's a collection at K-mart and at.. at her church thing? And... um... cards? I forgot/didn't know they put money in.. cards..

See, this is the thing, mom applied for unemployment, but they messed up! She was supposed to get the check on tuesday, but because of their error of thinking she was self-employed, she didn't. She called them on wednesday and things were straightened out and were to be sent. But they were sent before it happened? So.... it's sort of wishy washy whether I can keep it or not, but it's $427 ...... unemployment's so busy though, couldn't get through.

And I think I can get all of mom's bills ... like... erased. Like it's not on me to pay them? But then I have to put everything in my name and make deposits..

I have... $200 on hand... some money in the bank I think that I can't get to at the moment.... and a potential $427. I wouldn't need gas except the gas warms the water... I wish it was on an electric heater thing.. razz Cuz then it'd just be- Rent, electric, phone, INTERNETS, water. But once the sink is fixed with a new washer it won't drip.. and I'll save energy good. EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTERRRRRR. Maybe I'll be a hobo and warm my water with the electric plug-in burner. And then bathe in it. xD
