dot_com YES! Let's strap them from the ceiling by their little toes and force them to watch RK OVA1 to see some REAL violence. (Psh...that's not EVEN that violent. rolleyes ) Then shove some yaoi doujinshi in their faces, scarring their Kenshin/Kaoru pairing-obsessed minds FOREVERR!!! MWAH HAHAHAHHAHAH!!! *becomes evil* The first RK thing I ever saw was the movie XD; and from then on it was impossible for me to like any female character in that series. *barely watched it in the first place* omfg kenshin x sanosuke lurve.

I remember I used to be obsessed with Saito, to the point of fangirlism. I even joined an RP site which was dedicated to him and the Shinsengumi, and actually, they did their research. There's a lot of hidden manga/doujinshi/back alley series that was covered up by RK which is about the Shinsengumi. They even found Shinsengumi items, like plushies and action figures. It's not a huge thing, but I'm thinking somewhere along the way, the Shinsengumi was supposed to be a bigger part than it was given in RK. It was just covered up by the red-haired ***** midget.One of my favorite characters. I was never too big on the show itself (I'd probably end up disecting it into little horrible chunks), but most of the characters I thought were fantasticly done, simply vastly overshadowed by Kenshin. There was immense room for growth and exploration with almost every character, and it simply wasn't done, one of the reasons I disliked the series.

The people I used to hang out before I joined the AS were people who could be targeted and shot by AS or AG members, not to mention the mods. If you want to know more, PM me, and I'll tell you.
