I do find the RP academy to be sort of silly when you have to provide a RP sample in your join request anywho. lol I'm the Mizukage, well technically I'm just the leader for now. Hoshigaki's aren't createable for now, since the owner of the clan had to leave due to RL issues, you'd have to ask him for permission to create one, and well he won't respond for awhile lol.

Huh I guess Hiru gave it to the village, I didn't notice that lol. Regardless though out of the 4 Students, two of them are already Hoshigaki, and to be honest I don't really want anymore, they're getting to be too common.

That's a little unusual, this guild tends to allow the clans to operate their own stuff unless it's a restricted clan.

No, only the clans in the Master Clan Directory have been transfered over to the new system. If you wanted to create a Zabuza Clan feel free to but since he died with no known family, coming up with a back story will be tough.

Well anyone can buy a Zabuza Style Sword now in Kiri so that can't be an advantage, and Zabuza's expert assanination came more from his training and membership in ANBU and the Seven Swordsman then from his lineage.

Jake, you're missing the point.
First of all Zabuza didn't really have a clan, it's just that the sword was passed down from one user to the next, that's what made him fairly unique. The unbreakable sword.
On the other hand, unless you want to become a villain don't focus on having the best of the best of the best. It's not fun and it simply ruins role-playing. Think about how your character is going to develop, what's going to change for them in the future.
Having a bloodline can be an interesting twist or it can be a devastating character killer. Namely your character. Uchiha are essentially god-modders gone wrong...and after a while, they're extremely boring to play. Being Sasuke it's cool, but it's a novelty.
Role-play Sakura however and you have an interesting and dynamic character. No bloodline, just a normal shinobi who happens to be one of the most diverse characters in the Naruto universe. (And possibly the author's favourite judging from how much she's developed compared to any other character).
My point is finally...don't play to win, play to have fun. Enjoy. If you lose, you've got the ability to make a second character.

tbh, I dont want to play a "normal" character. I did want to be part of my favorite character's clan, but was told "no" so I simply looked to my second favorite... which.. yeah.. probably didnt have anything special, but maybe I want him to have something special so he isnt an exact clone
