"Th-thank you." Lily whispered to the boy, though even looking at him was enough to make her heart ache. "For the water." Then she went silent, clutching the harness and leaning on Guan while they walked upstairs, clearly terribly confused and grief stricken. "Why... who... Guan..." she whispered as they reached the top of the steps, shaking again.

The moment River's hand disconnected from the blade it gave off the aura River's own power hid. Like it was trying to convince Ellie that what she did was perfectly normal for a woman. " River questioned when she dropped it and picked it back up River raised a brow reaching out and taking it from her hands. " This blade is demanding." River murmured to Ellie setting it to the Fleshy the perfectly pale flesh on her arm and Rand the tip of it down the middle of her own arm. Blood oozed from the wound she had created and the Dagger pulsed with life. She wasn't fazed by the pain didn't flinch. She concidered herself numb."Do not do This to yourself unless you are Positive it is what you desire. Because using my Blade could become very dangerous and I do not want to be a monster in their eyes."

Arlen hummed quietly as he sat on the chair, looking up at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry," Guan said softly to Lily, walking her down towards her room. "I know it is hard on you, but I will answer everything once we are alone and Cerri is watching him."

Nodding River was glad she took the blade away from Ellie, she could of hurt him and herself. "Tomokazu- Tell me why does everyone seem to hate each other after creating a bond?" The blood on Rivers forearm slowly earned its right to flow down her arm and to her hand, where she caught it to let it pool. " She wants to hurt herself and as a friend I can do nothing but support her choice." River looked down then back at Ellie. "Go. If you wish to. You will be missed." Was all River said to Ellie turning and walking towards the door stopping to look up at Tomo, he was so wise for a young man. She stepped past him in thought walking her slow way down the hallway."Niether of them Answered my question, Tomo. Maybe I am just unworthy of an answer?"Stopping at his door she peered back at him, standing watching Ellie. This wasn't a crisis. This was a choice.

Tomo reacted like a flash, grabbing her arm, whirling her around, and slapping her in the face. "Don't you dare hurt my brother." He said, expression stern, but barely angry. It was the first time he refered to Baizou in such a way. He'd always said he was like family, but never actually called him a 'brother'. "He's in my room drenching him in gods know what kind of magic because you can't accept him for what he is." He looked at River and shrugged, "I don't get us any more than you do." He had a feeling, but he knew his emotions were too high to answer properly.

"Of course." Cerri murmured, kissing first Lily's cheek and then Guan's. "You two talk." She gave the best smile she could manage, ignoring everything else as she made her way down the steps and to the child, offering him a warm smile. "Hey kiddo... Guan asked me to watch you. My name is Cerri. What's yours?" she asked when she got close enough, offering her hand for him to shake.

Lily watched her go, then practically dragged Guan into her room. "I need answers." she told him, starting to become angry. "Tell me what the hell is going on, why that child is here, and why he looks so much like my Arlen. Tell me!" she demanded, eyes burning as she gazed up at him.
