The blades that whirred like propellors on his back shot off while she was in the air, taking hold of her injured ankle. They didn't cut, just held on tightly, much like plates of curved steel. The temperature in his robotic body rose, evaporating the now-water knife before it could reach any of his electronics.
"Don't try to kill me, Nyl. I'm now the only person that knows how to return Sephiroth to his human state."

Nyl ignored the thing holding her ankle. It was little more than an annoyance, at the moment. She smirked.

The girl yawned softly, then heard a raquet outside. She ran in that direction and right out the door, seeing to react before Ryuu would hear fainter versions of the noises. Once outside, the girl stared in awe at Ms. Nyl and the other man... Mr. Sehiroth was laying down too... She had over to Mr. Sephiroth and knelt by him, poking him softly, "Mr. Sephiwoth? Wake upw~?"

Seph did not stir. His eyes were open, but they were not focused on anything, and they were glazed.
The man turned to face her, then laughed. "Alas, that's something I'm not willing to give to you." His eye twitched, and a burst of electricity shot down the cable and into his blade-hand, which was still firmly grasped on her ankle.

Nyl flew backwards from the shock. The sudden motion - and the help of a suddenly very sharp leaf, poking up from the ground - severed the cable, ending the shock, but Nyl landed hard on her back, staring dazedly up at the sky.
She was slow in getting to her feet again, but the bemused smile hadn't left her face.
"You have no idea how much danger you're really in, do you?"

The girl looked up at Nyl, then down at Mr. Sephiroth as he didn't wake up. It was like momma... her eyes were the some... but very wet... She frowned, whimpering softly. She then looked over quickly... Ms. Nyl was hurt!!! No! Very think, hard as stone, vines shot up and suddenly wrapped aound the man that hurt Ms. Nyl, the girl watching, thinking Ms. Nyl was doing that. She started cry as she tried to was up Mr. Sephiroth... nothing...

The man took the opportunity when he had it. He reeled around and shot off after her, a small engine opening up, boosting his speed. He had done this just in time, the vines growing where he had been seconds before. He laughed at the vines, then was upon Nyl as soon as she was back on her feet, a fist barrelling towards her stomach.

She has her eyes closed, watching the scene outside. She's let down her image in order to see elsewhere. She could do both, but she's forgetful.

He got to her faster than Nyl could dodge, and she crumpled around his fist, stumbling back another few feet. She stopped, on one knee on the ground, both hands holding her stomach.
You would laugh at this irony...
And Nyl laughed, a short, harsh laugh.
"Go ahead. Try that again." She stood shakily, crossing her arms, deliberately open to attack.

The man obeyed, catching up again, his fist flying forward.
Something was wrong. There was no contact. He looked up. "...What?!" He tried to swing again, and this one stopped farther back. He couldn't do anything. "AUGH!" He tried to pull away, but couldn't. "Let me go!"

The girl watched the man barrel at Nyl and hit her. She started crying again as she rubbed her irritated eyes. Unknown to the man, a large gust barrier now surrounded Nyl that would rebound him back, protecting Nyl completely.
