Ceon stood next to her and looked down at her, "I see the twins have been growing a lot. How much longer do you have until the delivery?"

Even though it was all they ever talked about, Eden was more than glad for the distraction. Her kids were probably the one thing in her life that managed to be a constant. At the very least they were something in her life that was good news, after all, they were healthy and she was starting to come to terms with the fact she was going to eventually be a mother. Of course, the idea still scared the living s**t out of her but she was a little more confident now that she might be able to do it. Not to mention that there were a ton of hunters who told her they'd help her out and watch out for the kids if she ever needed to go off and do something. It was nice to know she had a few people there for her.
"Gail says I have about three and a half months, give or take a few days since there can always be early arrivals or late arrivals. They're both beautiful, healthy babies, though and I haven't let her ruin the surprise on what genders they are. I've got a feeling at least one of these kickers is a boy, though. Don't know why, just a hunch ... So what have you been up to? Haven't seen you around much."

Ceon placed his hand on Eden's stomach and felt one of the babies kick, "I've been hiding, hunting, and looking for a new home. My old one is destroyed from the fight with Jaden."

The gesture of her stomach being untouched was not uncommon to her but from Ceon it was a foreign gesture and she almost flinched at his touch. Under normal circumstances she probably would have ridiculed him for it but she couldn't b***h him out for wanting to have something to do with his kids. If that was his way of being involved she really couldn't yell at him for it though she really wasn't sure she liked the idea of her stomach being touched by him. However, his hand didn't linger so she didn't bother bringing it up and simply dealt with it, at least he wasn't trying to kill her or the twins.
"You mean from the fight you started with Jaden in your own home. I'd offer to give you a place to stay but I don't have a place out here. I live at haven and you're not a hunter so you're kind of on you're own there. I can help you look, I suppose. You should try the paper if you haven't been, they're always advertising places to live in that thing. You might want to try your luck in the places that aren't as close to downtown since there's probably less hype with those."
She didn't know why she was giving him advice, she wasn't all that pleased with him. However, at the same time she did care about him and she did feel bad for him. Clearly Ceon hadn't had it easy and she probably hadn't made things any easier but when you made bad choices for yourself that was where you got yourself, in a mess. Ceon was currently in one and she was willing to help a little but she wasn't about to bust her back for him.

Ceon looked down into Eden's eyes, "Yes, the fight that I started. And it's not the last time we're going to fight. I plan to be the alpha lycan some day. As for the housing, I'm fine for now, just looking around for empty apartments around where I love now."

Edith rolled her eyes at Ceon after hearing his conviction, that he was going to try going after Jaden again when it was clear that he didn't have a chance. "Not while Jaden's still alive, you won't be. He's a friggin' tank and you're not going to have a decent shot at him unless you're deciding to get down and dirty. And if you're that desperate that's kind of sad. I guess it's a good thing I'm not too closely tied to you, otherwise it'd really upset me when he kills you for being so stupid."
Her words were harsh and cold but she wasn't about to admit that she didn't want him to die. She'd already saved him twice so that probably said what she thought about him dying anyhow and if he was too stupid to realize it then that was his problem. However, when he mentioned looking for apartments around where he loved, she didn't understand what he meant and a puzzled look replaced her apathy. "What place are you talking about?"

Ceon growled slightly, "If not for him being part demon, I would have killed him. Besides, you know I have nothing left. Every woman I fall in love with dies or leaves me. All of my children are gone are dead. All I have left is the hope to kill Jaden and take my respect." Ceon took a deep breath as he tried to calm down, " I don't know of any place yet...I'm just looking around."

"The children of yours right in front of you aren't ******** gone or dead so I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Then again, I already know you have a problem with seeing what's in front of you and being sensible and this is why things just go to s**t everytime I try to be nice to you. You don't ******** think before you act and that's your problem. That's why you don't have a home, that's why these kids exist in the first place, that's why I'm always mad at you. I'm sure your other families would say similar things."
She had stopped talking but then she remembered another thing that she wanted to say to him and decided to say it before she forgot. "Oh, and another thing. Killing Jaden isn't going to give you your lost families back and it won't change what they think of you. It might gain you a bit of obidience on the lycans parts but even then I'm sure some of them won't be very pleased with you. If you can't take care of yourself God knows how you're going to take care of an entire lycan pack."
After a few moments of looking at him with an unamused look she suddenly started snickering and then she just began all out laughing into the forest of trees surrounding her. "s**t, you have me rambling like I'm some old woman or some friggin' mother. I hope you're proud of yourself." It was pretty clear she was laughing at herself but there was always the possibility that Ceon would misunderstand and think she was laughing at him.
She then stood up and decided to stretch, revealing both her plump stomach and her extremely muscular arms. It was clear that when she'd been a human she'd been at the height of her fitness at all times and now that she was in her training routine she wasn't going to stop. Old habits died hard and seeing as they were healthy habits, these exercising habits weren't going to die unless she did. She was a lycan now but that didn't mean she couldn't train and challenge herself to reach a few limits.
"Well as cheery as you are to talk to, I think I'm going to head off. Don't know if you heard but I'm officially the lead hunter now, I've been elected as such and now I've got a ton more of bull s**t to deal with. Won't that be fun? Guess what I'm saying is you better not piss me off or I'll be after you for it and I have a force of hunters to back me up. Hope you find a place that you like to live in. See you around."
Edith ceased her stretches and began walking away from Ceon. She wasn't in the mood to be brought down by his mundane attitude anymore, if he wanted to try to pretend to be happy to talk to her then that'd be fine. Until then she was probably going to be off dealing with a ton of hunter bull s**t now that she had officially replaced both William and Krii. The thought was strange to her but she supposed eventually enough waiting was enough. They, like V, weren't coming back and that was something she'd simply have to deal with and live with. Life went on, time stopped for no one.

( sweatdrop Gomenasai!! Grr!!! stressed I had something planned, but all well. Just my luck, ey?)
Hikaru sunk to the floor, scared half to death that this would have been her last night. Though the lycan was still most likely a pup, he was strong. Damn! I didn't want to fight. Why did he attack me? I guess the shadow put him at bay, but that other vampire. I realize his intentions were good, but I didn't need any help. She sighs softly. "I just wanted to talk, but I was too busy trying to regain my strength...at least he was a gentleman about it, if that's possible for a lycan to be a gentleman." she says to herself, and gives a tiny chuckle under her breath. Where is that other vampire anyways..I don't believe I've ever seen him before. Hikaru gets up from her grassy seat and walks around, enjoying what was left of her moonlit night.

*Yawns rubbing his eyes and begins looking around.* hmmm were should we go first? *his brilliant blue eyes sparkle in the street lights.* twisted *he jumps out of a tree in central park and a large grin overtakes his face just before he takes off jumping from building to building making his way into the heart of the tainted city.*

Adolfina wandered into the park still seeking some form of interaction. She'd considered a bar, but the only drink she wanted was illegal in most parts of the country, possibly the world. No public establishment otherwise would suffice, she'd decided, and the cemetary led to problems the night before.
With a deep inhalation of cool air, she strolled past a fountain in the center of the greenery. The water splashed and bubbled inside the concrete. It was so lonesome out here..
But Adolfina didn't want to be knee-deep in problems and catastrophe here like she was at home. She just wanted to start a new life, have friends, a family, pups....
Her head shook. This was all fancy, things that likely wouldn't come true here.
She continued to walk aimlessly.

jason walked to the park if he was going to stay somewere he wanted it to be somewere that looked nice like the park "i wonder what it would be like to sleep outside." finding his new replacement home was hard bet he found a nice tree with alot of leaves and he layed under it "well night i guess." he soon fell asleep dreaming about his family who he missed alot and whished were back with him so they could tell him how crazy he is for running away and now going to sleep under a tree his mother must be rolling in her grave right now. he woke up crying thinking about how his mom would be upset "im sorry mom i just didnt want someone who would pretend to be you when they wouldnt even come close to you." he began to cry making everything around him colder he didnt know why it happend but it didand it was normal for him.

Hakizimana Lao Tzu Kaiel didn't stick around to hear the bantering couple. He just hurried off farther away form everyone else. Closer to a place that seemed to have caved in and now had rubble everywhere. Kaiel looked around wondering when Kisa would finally find him here. So far he had lucked out but soon he would lose the luck and she would come dragging him back to the hospital.
