Ellie's pure loathing for her imperfection and inability to be good enough for him burned through her veins, as her eyes bore holes in the door that she now stood in front of. Stepping calmly out into the hallway, her emotions of hate for confusion and ignorance pulsating from her. "I hate this. Stop it. Stop being perfect. I want to be good enough for you." she called, eyes burning with loathing, and face hot.

Baizou looked up at River and shrugged, "I do not know." was all he said. He whirled around to look at Ellie, her loathing emotions piercing him like an icy sword. It was worse than the coldest nightmares. It was true hatred directed at him. "I..." Was all he could get out before stepping backwards. The emotion was almost paralyzing. "Ellie... You are more than good enough for me..." He said, barely able to get his voice to work. He took another step back and nearly bumped into River. She hated it? Stop being perfect rung over and over in his brain.

Blinking she turned her gaze down the hall. Was that it? Perfection drove her mad? Face red River said nothing to her, the bored plain expression put forth in watch as they quarrled silently. The Hate she held was easily picked out but not understood and for a Moment River deemed herself unworthy of the situation because her hate for Humans burned the same way."Baizou.." Secretly she wished she could help them through this- but inturrupting would possibly upset them more. 'Baizou, Perfect? I think not.' She kept this thought to herself leaning back against the wall, arms crossed, eyes traveling back to Baizou."Hey there.." River said her hand pressed into his back he almost it her it was alright though. It was dejection that flowed from both of them- something River would never be able to help-heal. " Is this what you call love?" She hissed at both of them, she didn't understand she had not heard them mutter those words of true compassion to one another why suddenly was it so diffrent. She could comfort Baizou first, he was closest. Thats if he accepted her as a source of comfort.

"Shut up." She said cooly, emotions colder and meaner than Vela could have ever imagined. It was really hatred for herself. Hatred for not being able to be what he was. Real perfection. "Just shut up." Spinning on her heel, she walked back into the room, and slammed the door shut. Quickly, her eyes scanned the room for something.. anything. Sharp? Harmful? Ellie was confused of the thoughts running through it, but it seemed like an overdrive mode. She wasn't thinking these things. Just doing them.

((Sorry for pseudo-disappearing like that. I was trying only semi successfully to run a dnd session))
Arlen stood next to the couch Guan had set Lily on. "Is she alright?" he asked the man while he looked at Lily. She was pretty and she had funny ears like Mister Tomokazu and Mister Bai except they were kitty ears while she had bunny ears.
"I hope so," Guan said softly, sitting in a nearby chair and watching Lily concerned. In his hands was the harness he had retrieved after making sure Lily was comfortable.

Lily gave a bit of a whimper as she woke; her head ached something fierce. Oblivious to the other goings on in the tavern, when her eyes opened, they went right to the boy, green darkening, some unknown emotion lurking there. "Guan?" she asked, voice little more then a whisper, entire body shaking. "Who..?"

Baizou closed his mouth the moment she told him to. He didn't hear anything River said. The only thing in his mind was Ellie. He hiccuped, covering his mouth as he pushed past River and into Tomo's room without knocking. "Tomo!" He cried, running to the blonde, who was reading upside down in a chair to help with the rain. "I... I do not know what to do! You have to help me be... not 'perfect'." He spat out the word as if it were a disgusting curse word, but if it was what kept him from Ellie, than it was worse.

River flinched when the door slammed shut. This couldn't be good, was Ellie Mad at everyone? That anger seemed like it was Directed at everything and herself all at once. What if she was a despret fool? Would River be able do anything? She could push it until Ellie broke or she could mend the seem that has broken but she can only do so much if she indeed chose to help Ellie cool down."Ellie.." River murmured stepping away from Baizou curious enough to question her? Possibly so. River walked towards the door and knocked upon it, her voice filled with nothing but her intent which she wasn't sure of. "Ellie? It's River, can I speek with you? I would like to understand you..." She wasn't going to lie that was what she was questioning how and why would a human creature act like this. What drove her to do that, but this was not something to push aside it was serious and River was not.

Ellie quickly hurried around the room, brain currently rebooting, as her instincts took over. Harm yourself. You are bad. YOu can't be good enough for him. She dug through end side tables and sock drawers, looking for anything and everything that she could use. "I do not need to be understood right now. If you have a blade, it would be handy." Ellie replied to River, voice lined with a venom-like anger.

"Can you go get a glass of water for her?" Guan asked the boy quickly before he could blurt out an answer that would cause Lily to pass out again or worse.
The boy nodded and ran off to the kitchen, eager to help. he set about pulling a stool to the cabinets so he could reach the glasses.
"Lily," Guan said, placing a careful hand on her shoulder. "We should talk in private, but I can't leave him alone down here. Do you feel well enough to walk?"

Lily nodded soundlessly, then reached for the harness. "Please?" she asked, running her fingers over it carefully. It had become inextricably linked to Arlen, and she wanted to have it for as long as possible before it needed to be taken away and protected again. "I'll walk if you let me hold it..."

River lifted her hand and slammed it against her door, maybe she would hear, maybe she didn't hear her voice, would she hear the bang? "Ellie.." River didn't lose control she was calm. "Whatever you need I will supply you with it. I promise anything I can do. Now Open the door." River was serious she would keep this promise if Ellie focused and heard her outside. If not River would discard it and think about opening the door forcing her way inside to see what she was doing having heard moving inside."Please, Ellie you are my friend. I want to help you." River's hand rested on the knob of the door her eyes narrowing a bit.

Tomo sat up and closed the book. He climbed out of the chair and set his hands on Baizou's shoulders. "Firstly, You need to calm down." He said, looking him strait in the eyes. "You want imperfection, so you came to me?" he asked, arching an eyebrow, "Somehow, I'm insulted." He murmured, tapping his chin.
Baizou broke away from the blonde to look at his book shelf. One of these books had to have a spell to make him imperfect. He pulled one from the shelf and sat down on the bed with it.

Ellie moved to the door, and swung it open, before heading to the dresser. Wasn't there anything there, either? "Why can't I be as good as he is?" she asked over her shoulder, as she tossed things out of the dresser. All blunt, useless objects.

"Here," Guan said, handing the harness to Lily to hold and offering a hand to help her up and support her.
The young Arlen came carefully out of the kitchen with a too full cup of water that he managed to only spill slightly every few steps. "Here you go," he said, obviously proud of his achievement as he held the cup up for Guan to take.
"Thank you," Guan said, stopping himself from using the boy's name. "I need to take her upstairs for a while. You wait down here on the couch and I'll have a nice lady named Cerri come down to watch you alright?"
The boy nodded and took Guans abandoned seat, kicking his feet idly.
