Uriel climbs up to the crow's nest, taking advantage of the fact that nobody's likely looking to climb up using his powers, which goes much quicker than climbing it the normal way. He nods a bit to Kyo when he gets up there, "Figure I can use my blasts from up here, without worrying about swords."


Caspian's not yelling, as he doesn't want his voice to interfere with orient's, but he does stalk about, making sure the men are doing as they're told.

"Sir, they're in range. And they're raising their colours... y'don't think that's provocation enough?" Caspian asks in a whisper next time he gets close enough to Orient. The men are getting antsy and frankly, so was he.

"Aye si-" Caspian gets interrupted by the opposing ship firing first, which most definitely was provocation. He jolts forward and holds onto the edge of the ship to steady himself.

The ships fire at each other a while, until the other ship gets close enough for a wave of pirates to swing over onto the obliterator.

Uriel doesn't want to fire down towards the Obliterator, especially since he's worried about missing and hitting one of the friendly pirates instead. He turns his attention to the enemy ship, shooting continuously at the wood holding up the mast, hoping to wear through it and knock down the mast.

At first, Caspian was trying to mind his Captain's preference for being non-fatal, knocking opponents about with the hilt of his shortswort, but just unarming a pirate wasn't always enough to make them stop, and he didn't quite care as much about keeping them alive. They wanted to stay alive, they shouldn't have attacked him and the people under his care.

Besides, if there was one thing Caspian was good at, it was ending men's lives with blades. he whirls around, using the rapier with his good hand, as it was a subtle weapon, and the short sword with his offhand, as all it was meant for was brutish chopping. He manages to take care of a good number of the attackers by himself.

Finally, after what seemed like a very long time of fighting, but was only maybe a few minutes, the Colours ate through the support for the mass, and it colapses onto the enemy ship itself, causing damage, and chaos, and prompting the enemies who still were fighting to go back to their ship instead.

"Of ours, or in total?" Caspian asks. He's still going through them the enemy bodies, figuring out who's dead and who's just hurt.

Once things seem to have calmed down, uriel climbs back down from the crow's nest.

"Ours, only 5. Got at least 11 dead of theirs so far, and I'm still looking." Caspian has men following along behind him, taking any that are alive down to the brig."
