Kinetic Dream Streamjumper Lately I've been considering adopting a newbie from the Welcome to Gaia forum... Anyone interested in joining me and making it an AG mass adoption? Hell, most of our pets have grown up well, we might as well try another one. xd Welcome to Gaia = Petshop now? I'm for it, though do you mean we each get one, or adopt one and then smother it with AG lurve? I think it would be for the best for us to each get one... maybe we could even do an AG pet Survivor... track which ones become real users first and which ones drop out...

Musuu He's putting them into stereotypes... that's what the whole thread is about. And uh, thanks... sweatdrop I'm the one who mentioned Tohru. confused It's not like we actually need to be informed about stereotypes. If you or him or anyone else want to label characters as Rei-type or Asuka-type, then that's your own business. You don't need to tell people about it. Plus it's impossible to prove that all characters are stereotypes because there are thousands of characters. Don't mention it. Because her initial character is supposed to portray a stereotypical-housewifeish-shoujo-manga-heroine, everyone just assumes that that's all there is to her character. When in fact she isn't the perfect person she appears to be and has many flaws and insecurities. Plus she's in total denial and has a complex with her dead father. And she has motivations that are rather selfish at times.

And that's the point of being stereotyped... you look at what's presented to you and you quickly judge it.

In between fishing, anyway. sweatdrop gonk I used to love hanging out in the Welcome to Gaia forum... I haven't been there in a long time, though.

Musuu It's not an information-telling thread. It's a discussion thread.
And that's the point of being stereotyped... you look at what's presented to you and you quickly judge it. I honestly don't see how it is either constructive discussion or informative, but whatever. So let me get this straight. You make your own stereotypes so you can discuss them, or you talk about how people make stereotypes and then do it yourself? And how does one explain his other thread? The 'mentally' one. I just thought the rampant pointlessness/confusion/networking of the AMC main was declining, but apparently not. Point: I don't like AMC main, and I don't like SJL. Over.

Musuu Takako no Kaori I'd be too. My mom told me that if I get a D in math AGAIN, she's sending me to a math tutor. sweatdrop And in Asian households "tutor" means you get sent to a ghetto "study center" full of teenage Asian preps/failures for 3 hours after school everyday. Yeah. I saw a study school like that in PGSM whee Sadly, that's exactly what my mind went to when I read Takako's post. sweatdrop

Is that the thread where he started off asking what makes guys like anime girls and immediately starts whining that if you mention physical appearance he'll have your post deleted and you banned?

Streamjumper Is that the thread where he started off asking what makes guys like anime girls and immediately starts whining that if you mention physical appearance he'll have your post deleted and you banned? He has a tendency to do that... make threats about how he'll get you warned, or banned, or whatever the hell if you do something he doesn't like even if it's not against the TOS. I'm pretty sure he has a few close friends that are mods, and that makes him extremely deluded... or he's just an a** in general and doesn't know what can get you banned and what can't.
