Caspian had enjoyed spending time with Kyo, at least when they weren't talking about serious things. His good mood fades when he's stuck in his bunk alone again, especially after having to report in to Orient... who had Uriel in his bed.

Kyo had put all the supplies away while Caspian had been doing that. He slinks back to his bunk, feeling a little tired, but still relatively awake. Once down there he does his nightly ritual of brushing out his ridiculously long hair, braiding it and taking off his shirt for sleep.

Caspian tries to enjoy the sight of the asian man shirtless, but is too demoralized even for that. He just slumps down on his bunk, facing away from the man, and fights off the tears for as long as he can.

Kyo climbs into his bed and since the rest of the crew are still above decks, getting drunk, or still on land, getting drunk, he creates a little blue ball of light so that he can read.

The redhead can't put it off very long, especially knowing there's almost no one in the crew room. He buries his face in his pillow then, so as to muffle any sound as he cries.

Kyo honeslty doesn't notice right away, but eventually, the sobs are too strong for Cas to hide, or muffle. Kyo decides that tonight, Caspian won't have to be alone through this. He banishes the mage-light, gently climbs out of his bed, and slips in beside the irishman.

Caspian blinks, when he feels something that used to be familliar, but hasn't been for a great many nights... the feeling of someone joining him where he lies. As this is extremely bizarre, he sits up, pulling out a knife to defend himself, as he has no clue that it's Kyo... especially since he can't see in the dark, "Who's there?"

"Calm down." Kyo says. "It's only me. I had the feeling you didn;t want to be alone."

The irishman sighs a little, putting his blade away, "Y'could get yerself killed, sneaking up on a pirate like that." He replies. He's tempted to throw the man out of his bed... but Kyo speaks the truth, he doesn't really want to be alone. Caspian doesn't feel free to talk about that though, so he just lies back down.

'I knew you'd give me a chance to explain myself first." Kyo replies, he wraps his arms around the other man.

That gets a rather humourless chuckle out of the pirate, "Aye, there is that."
He's surprised to find the other man's arms around him. His chest and throat feel tight, because the asian man feels as good as he looks... And Caspian's now fighting back the tears even harder than before, because he really doesn't want to cry with the other man right there.

Kyo nuzzles him gently, 'It's ok." he says, "Just let them come. I wont tell anyone." he promises. "And I can;t lie."

Caspian shakes his head, and tries to hold out longer, but he just can't, and despite his best efforts, he does start to cry again, quietly.

Kyo stays there, as a comfort. He rubs Caspian's back, nuzzles his hair and just acts all around comforting, although not sexual at all. Kyo is getting a bit of a crush on the other man, but he thinks if he makes any overtures about it, then he'd be taking advantage of Caspian.

The irishman cries a while, but then falls asleep. And this is falling asleep easily for him, as he hadn't gotten to sleep quite that quickly in a long time.
