Morrigan was still drugged; such was obvious. She crawled weakly from Po-ar's arm a short distance away, vomiting violently for a good five minutes before she began to look for herbs. "I...I have....I need tansy, and wormwood," she choked, nearly puking again at the memory. "I need all the wormwood we have." Aisne's eyebrows furrowed. She understood. "Mother Morrigan..." she whispered softly, sympathetic. She had seen the things she had faced, and was wiser than the others; she rushed off to gather the herbs with much haste. Morrigan fell to sobbing again, her head on her knees, a curled ball. As hard as she tried to control herself, neither the toxins nor her grief would allow it.
Vincent wasn't fast enough to dodge this strike; Konton had him, but he wasn't who he thought he was. He flew backwards onto the ground, grimacing as he held his stomach; the only disconcerting thing was when he started to laugh. "Are you so sure of that?" he asked with his own voice, the form starting to fade, "I think someone...had... hahaha, the wool... over your eyes." Was his tail poisoned? Vincent didn't know, but the wound in general was making him sick. Naga approached the man with a glare and venemous hatred. "Vincent." he growled quietly, "How?!" But Vincent just smirked.

Konton's tail lashed out at Vincent once more, grasping the man around the middle, pinning his arms to his sides. The demon lifted him up, glaring at him. "Where is the Tarnb-jin and his woman?" Konton hissed. "I warn you to answer me... I am VERY hungry."
~~~
Po-ar didn't know what to do at first. He came to kneel next to Morrigan again, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Gomen nasai..." the Tarnb-jin whispered. "Gomen nasai, Mor-chan... I... I wasn't fast enough..."
Morrigan sobs ceased only long enough for her to embrace his stomach, seeking all the comfort she could from the man. She didn't care whether or not he was or wasn't fast enough; she understood the risks he ran, at least she had before the toxins. She hardly realized she was still bleeding, the cuts down her neck, the clawprint above her breast, the various other injuries she sustained; it wasn't until the toxins began to wear off, and the woman began to settle, that they made themselves known. She winced, wiping her eyes before gingerly touching the wounds. She had to be strong. "I," she choked, her tears slower than before, "I swear, I swear, I will kill them both!" she cried out, trembling in rage, "Greatest Queen, I will!!" She would have stood, but she was tired; Aisne returned with the herbs. Morrigan began eating the wormwood raw, but the tansy and the rest of the herb were for a tea. She was essentially poisoning herself. After a time, her eyebrows furrowed even further. "Where's Vincent..?" she asked, alarm creeping into her voice. "Where's my brother?!"
Vincent shook his head. "I won't!" he growled, "I never will!"
Konton's eyes narrowed even further, but he smiled wickedly. "Even if you do not tell me, foolish fae... I will pry it from your soul eventually. How long can you stand the torture of being eaten alive, bit by bit, until your very spirit is sucked away and consumed by my great hunger?"
~~~
Po-ar blinked in shock, "Kami-sama... Aisne! Vincent hasn't come back! What... what do we do?!" The Tarnb-jin knew that Morrigan was in no mind to make decisions, and Po-ar himself had no idea how this newly found priesthood role would be able to aid him in recovering Vincent.

But it was Morrigan that answered his question, suddenly bursting into tears. "He's not!!!" she moaned in agony, "He went to die!!!" She broke down sobbing, a small, ball-like heap on the grass, trembling as she did. The poor thing. Between the toxins and her brother, the things she endured, she was a wreck.
Vincent, on the otherhand, was stoic and fearless. "As long as it takes," he growled, "I won't tell you anything!"

Konton smiled wickedly, looking to Naga. "With your permission of course, I would like to begin... interrogating the prisoner. Keep in mind, Naga, that he will most likely not be alive after the process, but we will have our information... and," the demon looked back to Vincent. "And more..."
~~~
Po-ar didn't know what to do, he let go of Morrigan, taking a few steps from her but otherwise watching the woman closely. "I'll save him, I swear it." the Tarnb-jin said as he began to create a portal.
Naga shrugged indifferently. "I never gave a damn about him to begin with. He's my enemy. Kill him however you want." Vincent took a deep breath, doing his best to reinforce himself. He hadn't died before, unlike Morrigan; thinking of her, he regretted not saying more. While she could look after herself, and Po-ar would take care of her as well, he couldn't help but worry. Fervent prayers went out, not for himself, but for them. The gods would hear, they would understand his sacrifice.
Morrigan's eyes were starting to swell, reddened from her tears. She gazed up at Po-ar with a choking sob, equally fearful for him. "D....Do you go to die also?" she whispered, swallowing the lump in her throat. "You'll come back to me..... won't you???" She was almost childlike in her poisoned state, her wide-pupiled eyes holding his in turn. She expressed so much, whether she tried to hide it or not; her face spoke her terror and grief like the sun determined day.
Po-ar shook his head. "I can not promise you that." he replied, "But I can promise that Vincent will return, even if I have to go in his stead."
~~~
Konton laughed, "Excellent..." his a glance to his side, demons sprang from his own shadow. "Place him in our world." the demon spoke with a smile. "Not even the Tarnb-jin will be able to reach him there." The demons nodded, over a dozen of them taking Vincent in their grasp and carrying him into the portal which Konton created. They wasted no time in doing the same to Vincent as had been done to Kenryoku previously. Chained to a precipice, with only enough room to kneel, his ankles bound firm to the rock to keep him from moving, and the heat of three suns blazing down upon him. Yes, Konton liked it when his meals did not put up a fight. The demon turned to Naga, closing the portal once the demons had carried Vincent in. "Should we expect retaliation soon?"

"He's gone." Morrigan replied, shaking her head. "He's not talking anymore. He's gone." She was quiet for a moment. "They're going to trap you." She was growing slightly more lucid, but she'd be feverish and ill for hours yet.
Vincent dealt with things the best way he knew how; while a fan of any element, this time heat and fire, it was a tad too hot for his tastes. Being chained to a cliff didn't help things either. He took a deep sigh and looked around, keeping quiet. He wouldn't reveal a word about Mor or Po-ar; he wouldn't even think of them. To do so would be to kill them. He wouldn't have it.

"But..." Po-ar was torn. On one hand, he wanted to remain to care for Morrigan. But Vincent had risked so much for them. "I have to bring him back." the Tarnb-jin replied with a firm resolve. "Trap or no trap."

It was then that Aisne stepped in. "She's right," she spoke low, "Vincent is not in this realm any longer. If you leave, who will protect her? If you are fighting demons, I doubt very much our ability to fight him off." Morrigan had different ideas, however. As ill as she was, she had already taken off to the forests in tears, her chest wracked with pain. Whether it was the toxins, or if her sorrow was simply magnified by them she knew not. It felt like heartbreak; her optimism was dashed, and there was only one place to go. Where her home had been was still charred, but it made little difference. She took the path into the forests, seeking out the flower fields. Granted, by the time she found herself there, she was breathless, vomiting violently from the exertion, pain, and toxins. She found more wormwood about, something she impulsively ate, even if she could hardly keep it down. The threat of pregnancy scared her like no other, save the loss of both her brother and lover----her lover especially, having lost Ea before him. She'd rather die than endure that again.

Po-ar was about to go after Morrigan, but he stopped. The Tarnb-jin sat down, putting his head in his hands. "Damn it!" he shouted angrily. "What am I to do?!"
~~~
Konton meanwhile, appeared before Vincent. The demon's tail swayed back and forth slowly, obviously displaying his own hunger. "Are you so sure you will not tell me what I desire?" Konton asked.
Aisne thought carefully, frowning. "You have to follow your intuition, that is what is best," she decided, "after all, you are to be the High Druid. It's one of the many important lessons you have to learn."
"My intuition tells me to go after Vincent..." Po-ar whispered with a sigh. "But I don't know if it's intuition... or my heart's desire... I have to do something for Morrigan."
Aisne thought carefully. "Well, listen. Only you can make that decision. My own opinion says the best route is to comfort Morrigan. If you're gone, how will she access the flower back on your planet?" she asked, oddly knowing. Her own intuition led her to such parts. "Konton would defeat all of us."
Vincent snarled, looking up at the demon fearlessly. "Not a word!" he confirmed, "Not a damn word!"
