What does not kill me can only make me stronger." He was still far too naive to understand the complexities of this world. On his home plane he would have had his throat cut for being unable to function correctly

"Yusa! With this...this...disability you will die! Not feeling an arrow in your side will kill you!" her tails had become desperate and were now simply smacking his arm in their frustration. "You are not in existence to fight. That is not your living purpose. Not feeling pain may sound like something good now; but it will kill you later. If you can't feel the pain, you won't know to treat it. It'll get infected; the poison will spread; and you'll die."

Kramek began to cry as the blood rolled down his arm."s**t!" He yelled loudly as he tried to stop crying but couldnt, the pain was to much.

Myu, weaving her way through the boulders, stopped beside Kramek. "Shh...Be still, I'm going to stem the flow." Her thread wrapped tightly around his bleeding arm. Lifting the boulders that were crushing him, she gently picked him up with her thread. "This may hurt, but i need you to move quickly when following me. These caves are still unstable." She wove her way back to the sunlight, going slower for him to follow her. Once they were both out of the cave a good distance, she laid him down on the ground, wiping his tears off with her thread. "Are you alright?"

Seeing him struggle, she sat down on a small rock. "You can't get out of my thread." Her tail bobbed quickly; the crystal bell ringing.

Ears dancing, she looked at him with her sugary smile glued to her face. Taking a cotton ball out of her small pouch, she also withdrew a small bottle. Grabbing his arm and dragging him to her, she sat him down in front of her and examined the cut carefully. Thread wrapping around his shoulder and around his joints, so that he couldn't move, she poured a generous amount of the liquid in the bottle onto his arm. the bottle labeled 'Rubbing Alcohol'

Blowing lightly on the gouge across his upper arm, she smiled again. "I have to do that three more times to 'adequately' clean your cut. Is there anything that could possibly help you handle the pain?" She put a hand on his cheek as she smiled and waited for an answer.

Slowly, out of the fog, a hooded man emerged, drifting soundlessly over the ground. Beneath his hood was no face, merely a mass of bandages with one milky gray eye peering out from beneath the wrapping. Beneath his dark umber coat he wore a black vest with scarlet lining and his robes went all the way to the ground, concealing his feet, assuming he had any. He came to an establishment up ahead with a destroyed roof; however, it appeared that it was a tavern of some sort and what's more, it still seemed to be in business. Upon closer inspection, he found it was named, "The Black Tear Tavern". Excellent; he had needed somewhere proper to recuperate for awhile, so this place would have to suffice, no matter how run down it appeared. His sleeve covered the knob as he opened the door; his hands were concealed as well, and he entered, looking around. Finally coming to the counter, his one eye scanned the room, a dry voice rasping from beneath the depths of his hood, "How much is boarding?"

Coming down that stairs, she smiled warmly to the stranger. "Hello. And, It depends on how long you plan on staying." Her two black fox tails swished around in the air; ears cocked towards the upstairs: where Yusa was. "I own this place...and our co-owner has recently...been killed....so, yeah. I may disappear upstairs to one room that is inaccessible to anyone but me, so if you have any questions in my absence; any worker will be able to help you." She reached the bar, standing behind it; in front of him. Medic kicking in, she absentmindedly reached out to touch his bandages. "Are you alright?"

She walked from her room and looked around, her violet eyes scanning the walls and surroundings. She walked down and was sitting on the couch when a man approached. She looked up from the blood stained book she had been looking at and watched his movements. 'Interesting..' she thought.

Throwing his cape up to block his face, the man recoiled and drew back. "No. These will be left as they are. It is beyond healing, anyhow." Somehow, he sensed he was being watched, and turned slightly. His grey eye roved over the odd creature there staring at him, then focused on the blood stained book in her hand, and a sudden motion was made under his cloak, but then he turned back around to address the matron. "Yesss... I will be staying for about a fortnight; perhapss more, given circumstances. How much?" He produced a fair bag of coins from under his cloak.
