It took a moment for Gwyn to settle herself after her embarrassing outburst. Was that any way for a young Shinobi to act? If she was to be a full fledged ninja she would have to keep occurrences like that under check or she may be liable for peoples deaths. The last thing the girl wanted on her subconscious was a death constantly gnawing at her, making her feel guilty. Gwyn remained standing as Tarou spoke to her, eyes towards the clouds. Something about what he said earlier while still practicing handseals finally struck a cord in her, "No matter what we do we die huh? It is the only thing that is truly inevitable in this world." Gwyn sighed, but kept the smile on her face, "All was can do is kick some a** and take some names."
Gwyn stared straight ahead, but her focus was on Tarou at the moment, he was worn out from attempting push-up but still went to the effort to show a sign of friendship to her. It took her a couple of tries but she finally managed to connect in the high-five. It was such an odd thing, the high five. How did open hands slapping become a sign of congratulations? Gwyn tried not to think about it to much as she lowered herself back to the ground. Tarou had asked her to stay and do pushups with him and that was exactly what he was going to do. He was much farther ahead already, but she was confident in herself that she would catch up in no time. If she wanted to be the best, she had no choice. Prepping herself Gwyn got into push-up position.
Gwyn lowered herself to the earth, smelling the wet ground and damp grass as she closed in. Everything was so dark smelling, the dirt, the air, her cloths at this point. It was very inviting. Before she knew it her body was telling her to stop lowing itself, she could feel her breath bouncing off the ground and into her face, if she had gone any lower she would have slammed her face right into the sweet smelling soil. Gwyn flexed her muscles as she pushed herself back up, completing her first push-up. Just a few more of those and I will be one step closer to my goal, however untouchable it is right now.

Tarou grinned when her open palm finally connected with his. Putting his hand down he got up, getting ready to do another push up. He watched from the corner of his eyes as Gwyn got ready to do a push up also. “yeah. Either way we die, so all it comes down to is that we live an honourable life.” He said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. And wasn’t it? If he died without loving anybody, without meaning something to anybody, he would consider it disgraceful. Maybe Tarou was just being uptight, but he wanted to live a life worth living for.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw that Gwyn had done a push up, so easily. “h-hey!! Not fair!” He proclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at her. “W-wait, how are you even doing that…” He grumbled, showing obvious irritation. It wasn’t as if he were actually angry at her, but sort of put off that she could do it so easily. Without waiting for her reply he got into position, looking over to Gwyn. “I-I’m going to try my best too!” He said a bit loudly, before going down onto the ground.
…
It was just so impossible. He didn’t even know why he couldn’t do it, but everytime he tried to slowly go down to even start the push up, he extended so much energy that he barely had enough strength in his arms to push himself back up. By the time he was supposed to push himself up, he found his knees making contact with the ground, making the push ups obviously not a push up. Groaning, he looked back at Gwyn. “This isn’t fairrrr…” He whined almost pathetically, giving Gwyn a look of a kicked puppy.

Gwyn felt the power course through her veins as she came to the conclusion of her first push-up. Every step she took brought her closer to being the best that she could possible be, sure these steps may start out looking small, but in the end they would add together and blossom into reward. Gwyn was striving so hard to get the that reward, and she was going to let nothing stop her, or slow her down. Only her own limits would tell her when to quit. Gwyn never left the push-up position, even when Tarou began talking to her.
She laughed a little in her head. For as cool as he tried to play, he was a bit of a hot head. "You have to remember, I just started, I have more energy then you... Give me a few and I bet you I'll be exhausted." She didn't know why he so confused, it was just a push-up, but hey, given the conditions of the ground it was rather tricky keeping balance. "In the end thats all we can give, our lives and out best... So why not combine them into the best life you could give." That didn't really make sense, Gwyn thought as she flexed getting read for another push-up. That was the way she felt now. If she was going to die, she was going to die being on of the greatest ninja whom ever lived, and she had already made a friend who she could help, and would help her in return.
Gwyn could feel it now, the energy she had felt doing the handseals, the energy that made her want to keep going, to put 100% into everything. She waisted no time on her push-up, going down, almost once more hitting the ground with her face, then using all of her energy to push against the world. She envisioned pushing the world, that instead of her moving, it was truly the ground moving away from her, she decided to share this information with Tarou, who appeared to be struggling again. "Just imagine that you are strong enough to move the world. The the earth moves to your touch, not the other way around." She hoped that information helped in, it didn't seem right that she should be doing so well while he struggled.

Mizuiro looked around for something else to practice but wasn't sure what to do now. He had already figured out how to do the technique. But then again, had really got all of it done? He decided to look around for a fence, which had yet to do.
He looked at the fence, then the cloak, and then turned around to lean against it, facing away from the fence. He then lifted the cloak over him and then proceeded to use chakra to make it looks like he was the fence. But he just failed by making it look like him against the fence lifting his arms up. That is not at all what he wanted.

Gwyn was on a roll, like a steam engine being powered by a miniature army of coal runners. Once she got going Gwyn really didn't know how to stop. In situation like training it was a perfect mechanism to keep up her motivation. She was on a freight train to the top. She was going fast and hard and nothing would stop her except fatigue or death. Gwyn laughed a bit at that. The only two things that could stop her in her life where the two things in life that were inevitable. Gwyn closed her eyes holding herself in push-up position, she didn't seemed to have fatigued at all during to first two push-ups, and if she kept her pace as steady and true as it was now there was no reason for her to not finish in the same time as Tarou, which she dearly hoped happed. She wanted to train by his side so they could support each other through their individual tasks. That way neither were alone and both progressed faster.
Gwyn was letting her thoughts get away from her once more however, she couldn't hold up her body so it was probably for best that she try to get the exerciser done in one simple rotation. She she could just do eight more push ups and be done then she would rest but until then Gwyn was willing to push her body to its absolute limits. She was ready to destroy herself for the sake of progression, if thats what it took to get things done. Clutching the dirt in her fingers Gwyn prepared once more to do another push-up. She first checked her posture, feet less then a foot apart, fingers spread, back straight, it seemed everything checked out, now the only thing left to do was push through it.
This one was much tougher, she could feel a sourness building up in her arms, she must have waited to long holding herself, at least she had gone when she did, if she had waited to much longer she may have been kissing the ground. Gwyn took a deep breath in, exhaling while she pushed out. This technique ensured that her core was flexed, which took a lot of stress out of the arms. She didn't know where she had learned this breathing technique, she supposed her body just came up with it naturally, it seemed to always do that to her without warning. It would find a way to make her life easier in her own way, she supposed it was part of the gift, but none the less it was always weird... Oh well, she thought, one more down!

Mizuiro now used the cloak to become one with the tree. He made sure he looked it over thoroughly before changing the cloak so that it would look exactly the same as the tree. He then hugged the tree with having the cloak cover him and then changed the cloak to look like the texture of the tree with his chakra.

Gwyn's thoughts drifted to the future as she held herself in push-up position. She wondered what kind of team she would be paired with, who would they be, what would they be like? Did she get to pick what team she was on, or was one just simply assigned to her? Also, who was her team captain going to be? So many question buzzed in Gwyn's brain that she could hardly focus on the hear and now. Quickly Gwyn shook her head, what use was it thinking of that sort of stuff right now? It's not like she could predict the future. All she could do was focus on the tangible things that she could control, training for one. Only she could make herself train, and she set her own pace, there really was no outside force acting upon its own will in this regard.
Gwyn hated slowing down, but with so much on her mind she found it difficult to try and focus on the push-ups. She tried to sharpen her mind, to keep it away from things she couldn't effect. Gwyn only wanted to handle things that she could actually handle, the stuff she truly had control over. That made her list of things to focus on very small so she could expend more energy into finer places, instead of spreading it out like she was doing. Focusing on anything but the push-ups ahead right now was a waist of time after all. Once she was done with that she would lay on her back, mist in her face, and think about life, but that moment couldn't come unless she completed these damned push-ups.
Gwyn lowered herself to the ground once more, smelling the sweet soil, feeling its soft almost squishy texture in her hands. Her feet seemed to have dug themselves a little mound due to the slipping, and it worked great as another place to push from. Once again Gwyn exhaled as she pushed, flexing her core to hold her weight. She pushed against the ground and rose easily into push-up position. She was almost caught up with Tarou, it was a thought that made her determined. She didn't know why, but she had this need to prove herself to him, to show him what she was made of, and from how quick she was getting through her exercises she felt she was doing a pretty good job at just that.

What was this power surging through her? Gwyn was finding no difficulty doing any of these push-ups, and she had hardly lost much, if any, energy from them. Perhaps it was because her frame was so light that not much work was needed to move it around. Did that really make sense though? After all it meant she had only a tiny bit of muscle, so shouldn't she be getting tired much easier? That wasn't to say there wasn't a soreness building, but after fore push-ups Gwyn thought that she would be wiped, but here she was rolling along. My Gwyn was underestimating her own stamina. Or maybe the released chakra she had felt doing the handseals was giving her that extra push that she needed to get through. Whatever the reason Gwyn was determined to keep at it until it was done, no stops, no breaks, just her and her aching body at the end of the day. That was how training has to be if she wanted to achieve perfection.
So Gwyn cleared her mind. There was nothing but the ground and her body. There was no cold mist. There was no warm breath. There was just Gwyn. The young girl could feel her heart beat in the blackness. It moved her entire body with a steady rhythm . She could feel her body pulse, expanding and contracting as the blood pumped through her body. She could feel her lungs expand as the cold air flowed in, chilling her internally. It was a weird feeling being cold at the heart of her body and at her skin, but warm in the middle sections. It made her skin tingle as if it were asleep. The wetness of the world was slowly seeping through to Gwyn, everything felt so heavy and grey. But she pushed on all the same, that was all she could do... Push on, all the same.
As Gwyn went to lower herself to the ground she felt her hand slip. It took less than a second for her to go from a good push-up position to laying on her side in the mud. Her hand had slipped on the wet grass and she couldn't rebalanced before hitting the ground. How stupid... Letting yourself falter like that. Gwyn thought bitterly to herself. She had come so far without stopping, and to be halted by such a minor thing, it made her a bit frustrated, but what could she do, what's done is done. Gwyn picked herself back up, resting a moment on her knees before returning to push-up position, holding her weight with her arms, preparing herself to go down once more.

Gwyn felt a little deterred from her work after her little slip up. Was that anyway to get to the top? No, one had to be perfect in every aspects of their life to achieve perfection. That meant perfect in practice. Because as much as the old mantra makes one feel good, truly only perfect practice could make perfect, anything less would make you better sure, but better could be achieved by anyone willing to reach for it. Perfection was something almost no one achieved. Maybe that was why Gwyn wanted it so bad, she didn't want to be just another face in the dust, she wanted to be feared by her enemies and called upon by her allies, she wanted to be somebody.
Gwyn didn't want to fade into obscurity. She wanted to be the Yubie that put her clans name on the map, to make them a respected people, instead what they were now. Society had no idea the power of the sixth sense. Not only did it make for a powerful ninja, but judges, even kages, could stand to learn a thing or two about instinct. When a Yubie became strong enough it was impossible for someone to lie to them, because they never head words. They couldn't be impressed by a fancy tongue because speech fell on their deft ears. But they knew truth, better then most. No one seemed to think so... That was why Gwyn would train. She would train to become perfect not for herself, but for her friends, her village, and her clan. With a goal in mind Gwyn got ready for another push-up.
It was no good. Gwyns arms where getting to sore to even let her fall to the ground. She had spent so much time with them locked holding her body that they wouldn't bend anymore. So she let herself fall idly to the ground to rest a bit, arms bent, feet pulled up. She lay there for what felt like a long time, soaking in everything about the world. Her heart was beating faster then it should have been for the small amount of strain it had been put under. It always seemed to be that way, even at rest her heart was always beating fast. It was going the extra mile to make sure she had energy. Gwyn loved her heart.

Why was this so hard? It was just a few simple push-ups, she had gone through so many already, what was holding her back from going through a few more. Was she not focused enough? No, she felt like she had been thinking about nothing but the push-up, if anything she was to focused. Was she not strong enough? While it was true there was a soreness building in her arms she was by no means tired or exhausted by any stretch of the imagination. Then what was it? Why couldn't she do it? Gwyn had just assumed instinct would take over and her push-ups would be done before she even knew what to do with herself. Yet here she lay, covered in a wet cloak huddled on the wet ground. Gwyn played with the yellow ribbon binding her cloak around her, softly she tugged on it, causing it to unfurl as her cloak fell off her shoulders.
Gwyn wore a blue and white dress under her cloak, topped by leather straps to keep it tight against her body. With the cloak gone Gwyn's medium length brow hair flopped lazily in her face. The cloak must have weighted a good five pounds now due to all the water and with it off her back Gwyn felt a new invigoration. A new strength that surged through her body telling her to keep pushing herself. Perhaps her body was just not used to the extra weight and needed to she it before it felt comfortable doing the tasks once more. Gwyn dug her bare toes into the loose dirt, making sure that she wouldn't move while performing this task. She closed her eyes before breathing in, getting ready to do another push-up.
Gwyn went down with ease, not sitting in the up position most likely help that little fact, but that hard part came with the going up. Pushing her breath out while going up once more helped the young girl. She finished her first push-up with a big grin on her face. Taking off the cloak had obviously helped, though it was sad to think that little bit of weight was the threshold between her and her physical limit. But of course maybe it had been a fluke. One push up did evidence not make. She still had five more push-ups to either prove her theory and get stronger, or disprove her theory, and still get stronger!

Placing the canteen down at his side he tried his exercise again, in hopes of completing it. He figured since his mind was off of it, he would have an better chance of succeeding. Truth was, he had no idea what he was doing. Burning himself out once again, he sighed in frustration. He wondered how many of the others had completed this training, or if they just skipped over it. If they did.... he was still behind. He noticed Gwyn yell out that she had finished the handseals and was beginning to get upset over not getting anywhere with his assignment. He picked up his canteen and took another sip of water to calm his nerves.

After his sip of water he tried once again. This time he could the chakra inside him. Now he needed to molded it, and utilize it. When he got it before and saw the work of his metal, chakra-suppressing gauntlets work. Now he wanted to try his feet. He placed his feet in front of him and felt the tingling of the chakra as it moved to his feet. A wide smile went on his face, "Yes!" he accidentally yelled out loud. He blushed and became silent again. Two down, only eight more times to go.... I can do it!! The chakra flowed normally in his body again and the tingling stopped in his feet, however he had a muscle spasm due to the weird feeling it caused. Goose bumps ran up and down his arms and legs as he took a sip from his canteen.
