"I'm not exactly a lady," Kasiya returned playfully, but went ahead of him anyways. "But thanks." If he wants to see me as a lady, just wait until that ball, she thought, already having decided that she would go all out and do the formal dress thing. Getting dressed up and all that jazz wasn't exactly her thing, but she was willing to put aside her travel clothes and slap on some makeup or whatever if it would impress Keegan. But then again, she figured she could show up as-is, and he still would be impressed.
She handed over Flash and Digger's Pokeballs (as they were the only ones in need of care) and wandered over to the window. She let her forehead rest against the cool glass, and watched as her breath fogged up the window. With her finger, she drew a tiny little doodle of a Pikachu, and stood back to admire her work while she waited for the return of her two Pokemon.

Frowning slightly at Kilik slightly as she walked next to him. "You shouldn't not eat for days! That isn't good for you!" Scrambling out of Robin's arms Luffy climbed up her and rested himself on top her head mussing up the hair that wasn't in her ponytail.
From his perch Luffy grinned over at the cool plug and adjusting Hat with his hands his tail reached over and gave the plug a small friendly shove. In all honesty he enjoyed spending time with this other pokemon and was excited for the next day when a new member would join their team. Looking around excitedly at all the new scenery he looked around for some super cool stuff.
"New moves? Wow that's really exciting!" Robin said with a grin. "Maybe Luffy knows some cool new moves. Anyway that sounds like a very good idea to look into." Upon hearing all the new stuff about pokemon moves and things like that sounded so very fascinating. Something about that sounded very intriguing, it was defiantly something she would look into. "Of course picking up our pokedex is going to be exciting as well. So much stuff to look into I just can't wait!" Ok so maybe Robin was a bit of a nerd, still her Pokemon knollage was the only thing about herself that she was proud of so she liked to focus all of her attention on that.

Kilik smiled. The fact that she was excited about learning new things really intrigued him. As her mentor, in a sense, he felt that her openness would allow him to bring her to new doors. "What're your ambitions, Robin?" he asked her, slipping his hands into his pockets, "Like...what do you want to do? I'll give you an example." He stopped for a minute then pursed his lips slightly, then nodded. "Take me, then. I want to be a Gym Leader."
Elekid nearly fell from his trainer's head when Luffy shoved him, but really fell off when Kilik mentioned his dream. The plug began to laugh on the ground, snickering quietly while getting back to his feet. Kilik closed his eyes and kept walking, a light pink appearing on his cheeks. He groaned quietly. Of course, Elekid knew his trainer was strong, but becoming a Gym Leader was a far off dream. Dashing, rather quickly, to his trainer's leg, Elekid climbed up back to Kilik's shoulder.
"It seems Elekid doesn't think I can do it," he mumbled, his eyes still closed, "But that's my point. What is it you want to do?"

Grinning at Elekid as he fell down to the ground he held back his snickers of amusement. Adjusting himself on her head Luffy waved his tail over at Elekid again in a threating way, though the grin on his face kind of lessoned it.
Robin blinked a few times upon hearing Kilik's before smiling at him. "Well dispite what Elekid thinks I think if you are determined enough to do it then you can." She paused slightly to think of what she would like to do. In all honesty she had no idea what she would do. She had no real skills, she wasn't that smart or anything. Really she didn't know if she had anything for her to do. Frowning slightly she wasn't aware of the general aura of depression she let out. "Well... I am not really good at anything so... I am not really sure what I would like to do."
Sensing his trainer's depression Luffy frowned slightly. He did not like his trainer and best friend being sad. Leaning down so his face was in front of Robin he gave her a determined look. There was no way that he would let his trainer be down like this.

"Well, everybody's good at something," he nodded, "And you said it yourself. If you're determined enough to do it, you can. Who knows?" the boy smirked and ran his thumb over his nose, "Maybe one of these days you'll find yourself the next Pokemon Professor?" He laughed and smiled brightly, "Or the head of an organization like Team Ro--" his smile immediately disappeared, "Er. The head of a Ranger organization. Something like that, yeah." He cast his gaze to the ground and was very quiet.
Elekid sighed and closed his eyes, not attempting to break the silence that went over his trainer. Why would he mention them anyway? And with such enthusiasm, too. There's definitely something wrong there. Then again, though he may not approve of him, Kilik still respected Giovanni more than any other man he'd met thus far, save for his own father.
"Anyway..." he said slowly, "You've got a lot to think about. Don't think you need to make a sudden decision. And take it from me," he laughed a bit again, "Don't rush headlong into anything without thinking through the consequences."

Hearing Kilik's words and seeing Luffy's disapproving face Robin felt herself feel a bit better. Grinning slightly and pushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear she cast a small grin at Kilik. "Thank you. You always seem to know what to say don't you Kilik." She said softly before glancing up at Luffy and pushing him back up on top of her head. "Thank you to Luffy, I can always count on you right?"
Luffy nodded at her giving her a look as if to say, "You can count on me if I can count on you." Allowing himself to be pushed back onto her head he grinned again the serious look on his face gone as if it had never been there.
Looking down to the ground Robin walked along for a few seconds in silence before asking. "So what has been your favorite part of your journey?" She was terribly curious about her 'mentor' and he was so far her first friend she had ever had. Then again she wasn't exactly sure that he was her friend yet. She hoped he was her friend but she was never really sure about these kinds of things being burned many times before.

He placed a hand on his chin and thought for a moment. There were so many aspects to his quest so far, but what was his favorite? Could he even name one? "I would have to say when Elekid first hatched," he nodded after a few moments of consideration, "I had a battle with my friend Mike and his Magby. The two are sorta rivals now because of it." At the mention of Magby's name, Elekid began to clench his small fists tightly. He wanted so badly to fight him one more time.
"Anyway," he said, scratching his nose, "I'm hoping that New Bark isn't too far from here. The anticipation of meeting Professor Elm is getting my heart pumping." Kilik clenched his fists excitedly, laughing a bit to himself. Elekid laughed as well, mimicking his trainer. The Pokemon squinted ahead to see a group of people. Instantly, he was on the defensive.
Kilik raised an eyebrow at his Pokemon's behavior. "What's up, Elekid?" he whispered, glancing ahead. His eye caught the group as well. They were all bundled together, whispering amongst themselves. Among them was a rather large man, not fat but tall, with a mohawk hairstyle. Kilik stopped walking, holding an arm out to stop Robin as well.
One of the lankier members of the group popped up and laughed heartily. "Well, well, wellywellwell! Looky what we gots here, boss!" He nudged the mohawk man in the side. The skinny man fixed his sunglasses and smirked, "A chicky and a baby boy with a baby Pokemon. Seems liking they were eavesdroppin' methinks!"
Kilik clenched his teeth together. "Robin," he whispered, "If I tell you to run, go to Cherrygrove. Got it?" he glanced at her from the corner of his eye.
"Whatchu whisperin' over thar?" he sneered. He looked over at his other three cohorts, the mohawk man not included, and they began laughing. "Hey boss? Why don't you show 'em what happen whens they messes with the Bloodhound Gang?"
Kiliks hand went immediately to Vibrava's Pokeball.

Feeling worried Robin glanced at the gang members with wide eyes before looking back at Kilik. She had never seen any members of a gang before and these guys were much bigger then Kilik and herself. Nodding at Kilik's expression and bitting her bottom lip worriedly she reached up and pulled Luffy down into her arms. The small monkey seemed to be fearless though and was staring at the big gang members with wide curious eyes.
The big mohawk man looked over at them and stared at the two for a few moments before grinning and stepping forward. "I don't think these two have done anything wrong but the Warrior is all ways ready for a battle." Adjusting the big belt he stood in front of the gang crossing his arms over his chest. "You don't have much of a choice here Wuss so lets have ourselves a battle. One on one first pokemon out losses. If by some chance that you beat me," One of the smaller guys laughed at that comment. " then I wont pound you into the ground. Now lets battle!" Finishing that statement the Warrior picked up a greatball from his belt and tossed it out into the battlefield.
The pokemon that sprung out in a flash of light was a tough looking Golem. It's hard outer shell was covered in battle scars and it was clearly a battle hardened pokemon.
Looking at the big pokemon Robin couldn't help but feel a bit scared. Sure she knew about Golem but she had never seen one before. It was so big and mean looking, it also didn't help that it looked much tougher then anything she had ever seen before. Even if Luffy and her were stronger there was just no way she would be able to help Kilik... Feeling rather useless she stepped back from Kilik not wanting to get in his way.
In her arms Luffy just stared with wide eyes and a huge smile on his face. It was such a cool pokemon! It was all big and rocky!

Kilik lowered his head and began to laugh quietly to himself. "It's all the same with you punks," he smirked, lifting his head, "Picking on the littler guy to make yourselves seem so much bigger! Sounds pretty cowardly to me. But if the only way to get you out of OUR way is to battle, then I'd gladly bring you down." He pointed at the Golem, then snagged up Vibrava's Pokeball. "Go, Bahamut!"
From the light of the sphere burst forth the insectoid. She fluttered about, chattering excitedly. Her wings were flapping hurriedly. The Pokemon was so full of pent up energy. Kilik was quite...surprised at how excited she was. Why is she so...hyper? he raised an eyebrow. Either way, she was going to win this for him. After all, the one trump move she knew was Giga Drain.
Elekid hopped off of Kilik's shoulder and backed away from the scene, very afraid of the large Golem. Knowing that he could trust Robin, however, the plug ran over to her side, hiding behind her legs, watching the start of the battle from there.
"Alright, Bahamut! Start things off with a Giga Drain!" Kilik swiped the air with his arm. Take no prisoners, right?

"Giga Drain huh? Well let me give you a little surprise then! Golem use Protect!" Warrior shouted laughing as his Golem raised it's arms and was surrounded by a glow just in time to block of the hyper Vibrava's Giga Drain. When the attack faded the Golem lowered it's arms and sent a small glare at the small dragon. Sure it was mildly annoying and that Giga Drain would hurt a lot but he had faced tougher opponents before and came out on top. If things did turn bad he could always use THAT move to.
Watching the battle from the sidelines Robin stared at the Vibrava that was much smaller then the Golem. It seemed like it didn't have a care in the world that it was even in a battle. In a way Robin envied it's carefree attitude. Looking down at the squirming Luffy in her arms she smiled slightly, she knew that if she asked, and even if she didn't, Luffy would jump out to battle any pokemon that stood in there way. She really needed to give the Aipom some more credit. Sure he wasn't the strongest pokemon but his spirit more then made up for all of his problems.
Turning her attention back to the battle she decided to do the only thing she really could do at the moment. Putting Luffy down on the ground on the other side of her she turned around and addressed both the Elekid and the Aipom. "Alright, we may not be able to help Kilik out directly but the least we can do is cheer him on!" That said she stood up and spun around pumping her arm up in the air and cheering. "You can beat that lump of rock!" Beside her Luffy just grinned and jumping up so that he was standing on his tail he gave excited shrieks and mimicked Robin's cheers.

Rex tried his hardest to reach the Poliwag before the barrier formed, but just as he was about to strike, his claw dug into the ice wall instead. Reacting quickly, he then repelled back, scanning in confusion as he landed near the wall's base, trying to register what had just happened.
Meanwhile, Ky couldn't help but smirk. He'd been expecting a defensive action from Crenu, but this one was hard to judge. "Running around the wall would only leave Rex open as he turned the corner, so it would be best just to play it safe for now," Ky thought. "Rex, run back towards me and use Water Gun! Aim it at the base of the wall!" he called in succession.
Rex didn't hesitate much, knowing that his opponent was just as disadvantaged as he was towards making a direct attack. So, not too soon after he landed from his blocked attack, he ran back in Ky's direction until he felt a safe distance, then blasted as sharp of a Water Gun as he could manage to cut along the ice wall's base.

"Heh, playing it safe are we? You gotta be a little more bold than that if you wanna beat me Ky!" Crenu started to laugh coldly as he looked into Ky's eye, then at the Totodile. It had a bad eye, and in time he would make use of it. Not bad though...my wall won't hold forever...hmm "Poliwag, Bubble now! Shoot directly ahead above the wall, arch it over to get the Todile!" Poliwag obeyed without question hopping back a few inches as he aimed his body upwards and shot out a stream of bubbles. The bubbles covered the air as they flew upwards over Rex and that general area, but as the bubbles reached over the wall and towards their target, they just floated about. Some of them bumped into each other and burst while the others just spread out looking more like an appeal than an attack. "....damn..." Crenu gritted his teeth as he watched the bubbles float, but he had to admit that they did look pretty.

"I should say the same for you if you plan on blowing bubbles like that all day," Ky mocked as he scanned the bubbly minefield that sat around Rex. Though a few Bubbles managed to pop on the Totodile's skin, their small explosions barely hurt. Given the word, Rex would charge through the floating mass with ease. "Rex, get in there and use Scratch before he makes another wall!" Ky said with urgency. If Rex did not close the distance and attack, Crenu would eventually get the chance to fire volleys of Ice Beams, which would be strong, even against a Water-Pokemon.
Rex started to charge at an angle to the right, shrugging off the exploding bubbles as he searched for a path. As soon as he caught sight of the Poliwag, he bolted much faster than before, driven to make sure this one hit. Then, in one dire leap, Rex dove wrecklessly to clear the gap, but this time with a trick up his arm. As he flew, a small pillar of orange energy burst around him before gathering directly into his claws. As soon as he came within reach, he slashed down with much more power than before. Had Ky's view not been blocked by the ice wall, he would have easily recognized the attack with his jaw dropped; it was Dragon Claw.

"The hell!? Poliwag! The attack was so sudden, Crenu did not expect Totodile to know a move so deadly as Dragon Claw. Ky had ordered a scratch, but clearly Totodile had other plans, Ky obviously had no idea. But without ample time to prepare, Poliwag took a hard hit that sent him bouncing over the wall. Small singe marks smoked from Poliwag's flesh where the claw had hit, but Poliwag managed to get up after that vicious attack, it was going to take more than that to take him out of this fight. Wincing, Poliwag stood his ground and readied himself. "Alright Poliwag, Bubble one more time! Let's give 'em a show!" Poliwag took a deep breath and released another wave of bubbles that rose into the air and hovered about. The sky above the battle was now littered with bubbles that slowly moved around, a few of them sinking to the groudn and popping, but nothing more.

Keegan just smiled at Kasiya and watched her hand over her Pokemon. To his surprise, the nurse gestured to him as well. "I can take your Pokemon too," she said, and Keegan obliged by giving her Tierra, Themis, and Althena's Great Ball and Pokeballs respectively. "It'll only be a moment," she said, and Keegan found himself nearly wincing at the overly sweet and cheerful tone of her voice. He glanced over at Kasiya, who was now by the window, and he decided to give her a few moments to herself.
"All right. Thanks," he said, watching the nurse take the Pokeballs into the back for treatment. Thinking back to their so-called 'battle', he recalled how quickly Tierra had responded to his commands this time around. The last time he'd battled with her, she'd been lazy and had practically ignored him, but this time, she'd responded almost eagerly. Was it because he'd been more forceful with her this time? He didn't know for sure, but the one thing he was aware of was that Tierra could be a powerful ally of his if only she'd apply herself. "Themis was pretty amazing though," he thought aloud, studying the various posters plastered to the walls of the Pokemon Center. Notably, he saw the poster advertising the beach party, and was a bit surprised that they'd put a poster for something in Hoenn all the way over here in Kanto. I bet we'll be in Slateport just in time for this, he thought, wondering how many of their friends they'd see at this party.
