Her blue eyes matched his stare, as she brushed her hair back. "Do not meddle in my business." It seemed to be a catch phrase of hers. With a small sigh, her cool voice continued on, "Do I have to explain why I stay here in order to do so?" Sipping again at her coffee, her throat soothed with the bitter taste and simple warmth of it.

"Well, there's this weird thing humans have called a 'conversation'. It's when people ask each other questions and talk about themselves for no reason at all." He explained and then was quiet for several seconds. "I pity you." Sam said finally, scooping some of the cooked bacon onto his plate. "Getting so irritated all the time. Your life must really suck."

Vela almost smirked, she was so close to laughing at the feeble boy. After drinking from her coffee, eyes watching him with a certain loathing, her smirk subsided itself. "Irritated? I am not irritated." she said, eyebrow's raised a tiny bit. "We have nothing to converse about. I do not like the way you talk to me." she said voice rather bored, rolling her eyes a tiny bit, before returning to her coffee.

Sam nodded, "Yeah, come to think of it, I've talked to pillows more entertaining that you." He murmured, putting the rest of the bacon on his plate as he got started on the eggs. "Yet, somehow I get the impression that this is the most you've spoken to someone in quite a while." He mused, noting her almost anti-social actions.

Galloping is heard. Getting louder with each passing second. A huge black horse is in the distance. The horse wore great shining armor that shined in the light of the sky with a black glow that even looked like the arua of Death itself. The horse's red eyes could pierce a man's soul and destroy it with a blink as it quickly headed towards the building.
The rider was a being far worse than the horse. It had narrow red eyes that could break an army's morale in an instant but also had the small hint of madness. It's skin was a rough pale colour like the brightest white but also was of soft and gentle as silk and velvet. The dark being also had to the floor black hair with the colour of black that could suck up the light and eat it up until none was left but the blackness. The rider wore the kind of armor only a general would wear in battle. It was made of a strange metal but looked like steel at first glance and it had a black trim which showed a huge black blood drop in the middle of the armor plate. The rest of the armor was the same but this metal...It also looked like it would weigh more than the horse itself.
The horse got to the three story tavern and the rider watched was going on. It's face slowly turned left and right to see the surroundings and then he kicked the left side of the horse with the left armored boot. The horse then slowly went on it's knees and the rider let go of the horse's neck and went on the horse's right side and slid off. The creature's feet hit the ground. The sound of death....people screaming as they were slaughtered....the sound of loved ones being killed...You could swear you could see the death take place in the most horrible manner.
The rider then looked around once more and a sigh escaped it's pale lips yet the air was visable and it looked like it fell to the floor like ice. This dark being looked like it was forcing it's body to move towards the tavern. It's eyes never looking at the building or even the area around the tavern...It just stared into nothing. After what seemed to be a strugle to it's body...It got to the front door of the tavern and the rider forced it's left arm upwards so he could grab the door handle and open the door. It's hand touched the door handle and it's fingers wrapped around it. The creature then turned the door handle and opened the door but slowly walking inside as it does so. The being had come here before as it stopped after it closed the door. The creature called itself Ke'die and appeared to be a male. Ke'die then put a hand in the air like a wave. "Hey there..." A creepy smirk formed on his face as he then started to unclasp his armor. "I must get lighter armor..." He muttered to himself but his lips didn't move as he spoke. Ke'die then set his armor by the door leaving his clothing to be a chainmail shirt and black leather pants but no shoes. The being gave out a quiet and deep yawn as he walked to a couch and sat down.

"You are intelligently stupid." replied Vela, blinking her eyes once. "I do not talk much. But you are quite a rude fellow." Finishing her sentence with another sip of coffee, and a slight shrug. "It does not matter to me what you are." Right as she finished her words, she turned to see the deathlike being. Almost the exact opposite of herself. For seeming like such a soldier, the man collapsed to teh couch like a weakling. She was a better warrior, no doubt. Even if he tried to be a bit more intimidating. Leaning forward a tiny bit, Vela brushed her hair back again.

"I must get better people under my wing..." He muttered quietly to himself as he then stood up. "That was a nice sit down..." He said with a slight smirk as he moved towards the bar but noticing Vela. A smile formed to his lips. "Hey there...you seem like the person to enjoy a good battle once in a while." He said as he went behind the bar and started to grab a few drinks and mix them together. "I enjoy a battle sometimes...as long as the battle lasts longer than thirty seconds." He sighed and then grabbed the now filled glass and pressed the rim to his cold lips almost making the glass and drink inside it almost freeze up. Ke'die lifted his head up with the glass to let the drink slowly go into his mouth and down his throat.

Raising her eyebrows at him, Vela only looked on. What he said was true, but she was in no interest of battling here. "I might." she replied cooly, before sipping some more at the coffee cup that was almost empty. Her sapphire eyes washed over him, they were emotionless, and unresponsive. But, she observed that he might command some army of importance.

Sam looked up and shrugged, "I am rude, true. You're not the first person to tell me that." He said walking to the bar with his food. "But I only do it to people like you." He explained before digging in.

At this comment, Vela did let out a brief "Ha." her lips curled into a small smile. "What're you meaning by that?" she asked, voice still cool, as her lips returned to the slight frown that took place upon her peaceful features.

Sam shrugged, "I get manipulative when I'm bored, I guess." He replied, scooping more eggs into his mouth. "Some people just throw respect away. I don't care who the person is or what social status he has or how much money he has. You can't get respect from me until you earn it."

The woman simply listened, and stood, retrieving the last of the coffee, and putting on another pot. Eyes watching Sam, as she walked back, she could not think of what to make of him. His logic made sense, but usually only people who could demand respect of others thought that way. And, here was, simply disgraceful. Being the leader o fher legion, as high as she could go, with her gender, Vela was simply respected to by others. And here he was, telling her he would not do such a thing. It did not bother her, though. Good to realize that he was quite manipulative though. Sitting back down, her eyes watched the coffee swirl around in the cup, as her hands rest on either side of it.

Sam finished his food and paused to watch her for a few moments. He saw that she was thinking about something and was beginning to wonder if just a hint of his small speech got through to her. He didn't dare let it show on his face, though. That would destroy everything. He brought his plate to the sink and set it in it. Perhaps he could be a little more polite around her. After all, she had to have a reason to earn his respect.

Vela watched him with her watery blue gaze. "I will keep that in mind." she said, voice very cool, and soft. Eyes returning to her coffee, they shut as she sipped at it. Here, she might be able to be at peace. Good. If she were lucky, no one would be stupid enough to try and hit on her. Like in her legion. But, she couldn't very well kill them if they did, here. But, with her actions, it seemed effective enough of her attitude to push away the people.
