I think I know, I mean I "Yes" but it's all wrong...
If people weren't staring before, they sure as hell were now. Mephlius grabbed Amnity, and hurried her out. "Shh... It's okay, Amnity. Relax... relax..."

Amelia put on her hat and skillfully hid her tail.
"Let's go to a clothing place first." Amelia was looking unfondly at her current outfit. It was dirty and torn in many places. She really did hate not to have nice clothes on. Amelia followed Prometheus out into the street. "Would that be all right? I can get the child some clothes too."
Amelia was actually pretty rich. She knew how to use phones but those had been around for quite some time. She did enjoy the ease of having paid bankers to do all the technological stuff for her. All she had to do was carry around a little plastic card and hand it to whoever asked for payment. It was much simpler then carriying around coin purses like she used to do.

Amnity took a deep breathe and sighed ruggedly. She relaxed. "...Fine, fine." She took another deep breath, then looked up at Mephlius. "It's been like that ever since I became a lycan...."

Once they were outside the Burger King, Mephlius relaxed a little bit. "Don't worry, Amnity..." A familiar smile slid onto his face, his average mood. He was relaxed, and trying to make sure Amnity was too. "Wolf we'll be fine. You give him too little credit."

Amnity nodded, then smiled too. "I guess...I'll go looking for him later. He'll need some space to cool off."

"Want to?" Amnity asked, then looked down at the ground, kicking a few stones that were in her way. "We don't have to, of course. We could do something else."

Prometheus saw two people walk out of Burger King, and someone else who smelled of an old enemy. "Daiguren...." He mumbled as Amelia followed. "That would be fine, I'm sure Julian wouldn't mind."

"All right then." Amelia walked into the first random thrift shop she found. She chose sleek black clothes that fit tightly but were easy to move around in. She also got a black hat that looked french maybe but covered her ears succesfully. She found something cute to go on the little girl Prometheus was holding. Amelia gave the plastic card to the person at the register who swiped it without a thought and asked for the scratches that counted as Amelia's signature.
Amelia changed her clothes in the bathroom and left her old ones there. She handed Prometheus the bag that held the clothes she'd bought for the child.
"All right, I'll follow you now." She said.
