Sammy shook her head, smiling. "Same old, same old. Y'know how it is..." She sighed, wanting something exciting to happen. Everything was always planned... Dancer jumped on to Sammy's lap, curling up with her leaf covering Sammy.

Cody leaned over and softly kissed her. He pulled back very quickly. "Um..." He pulled out his TADS and checked it, even though he knew it hadn't vibrated.

Ginji walks out of the Captain's Messhall and sat on the couch. "Gah! So much work to be done." he sighed as he drank a Sprite.

Sammy jumped out of her seat, backing up a good ways. Wow, how had that happened. Sammy didn't want to do this, but she had to say it. "I really like you, Cody... You're a good guy. But we work together. We work together. Don't get me wrong, you're a good guy,- amazing guy- but I... can't like someone I work with. Maybe that'll change one day, but for now..." Sammy stopped, hoping she hadn't hurt him. It was true; maybe it would change, but she couldn't risk that. Sammy quietly sat down next to him again, sitting a bit farther away than before. "Sorry." She sighed, leaning backwards. "Life sucks."

"Eh it's cool. Don't worry about it. That shouldn't have happened anyways. I'm really sorry." Cody got up and walked through the teleporter, heading to the beach. "Maybe one day, huh?" Cody said to himself as he walked along the beach. "Wow, that was a mistake. I probably just made things completely awkward between us..." Cody sat down in the sand and looked up at the moon. Its light reflected off his face and the sand surrounding him. Grovyle popped out of his pokeball and Plusle out of Cody's backpack. The two pokemon sat next to him. "It was at least worth a try. You just think differently. That's all." Grovyle said, trying to calm him down. Cody was breathing heavy now. His eyes started to water, but he wouldn't let it go any farther than that. "Maybe some day" he kept repeating to himself.

Sammy looked over at Mr. Ginji, waving to him, although not as enthusiastically as she normally would've. "Hey, Mr. Ginji." She sighed, looking up at him. Dancer was now leaning up against her; asleep.

"Hey there Sammy. How's life treating you?" he asked as he took another sip of Sprite, and turning his head to look at the girl.

Cody slowly got up and walked ankle deep into the water. He started to walk along the beach, in the water, with Grovyle walking next to him and Plusle resting on his shoulder. "So what do I do now?" he asked Grovyle. The pokemon remained speechless.

"Just a bit worn out, that's all. I'm glad to here you know what an analogy is." Ginji sighed. Now that Oak had been saved, Aqua had no destination. No place to go.

Where are you?
She texted to Cody, still looking between Dancer and Mr. Ginji. "Well, I'm assuming there isn't anything to do at the moment." She stated, just making an observation.

"Yeah, we're being pretty laid back for the next few days." Ginji smiled as he turned to look at the lights coming on to view the ocean in all its glory.

Sammy nodded, understanding that they probably wouldn't have anything to do for awhile... Looking up, Sammy saw the ocean and shivered. "It always scares me, the idea that we're constantly underwater..." Sammy muttered, looking back down.

Cody was about to text Sammy when a message came in. He read it and hesitated before answering.
The beach, about halfway around the island.

"What if..." Cody asked himself then contradicted, "No. Like she said. Feelings like that between co-workers is wrong. Especially feelings as deep as that." Grovyle was still speechless and just walked next to him. Plusle could be heard lightly snoring on his shoulder.
