I played first trumpet in High School band. I even had a shiney silver one, but I haven'ty played in over a year. T__________T

Ashley: You said you were first trumpet though. o.o No matter. xD Being a first chair in the trumpet section in the school band, which I might note is the third highest ranking high school band in the USA, I'm fairly good. x3

Slide. I sold my f-trigger Bach a couple years ago. I only got up to 2nd trombone, but out of only 4 'bones for a couple years, that meant 2nd chair. As for how good our band was, we were quite kick-a**, but a couple other schools were better, but we always suspected that they cheated (prerecorded applause; march-no-play then stop-and-play). sweatdrop

x3 St Patrick's used to have a wonderful band, but it went downhill the year I joined. Everyone hates the music teacher, and quit. We never even went to any competitions. T_____T

If I were to take pictures of the band room over here, you guys would be really surprised. xD
All four walls are filled will awards. Then we have hallways and offices filled with trophies. Then we have glass cases in the outer school hallways filled with more plaques and awards.
There's so many, I'm surprised the shelves haven't come crashing down yet. heart
My school never ever cheats. We always get the highest grading when we get evaluated, and we've performed many a parade, in the rain sometimes, marching perfectly in step and playing stronger than ever the whole way. Four hours at a time, even.~ whee
