@Killer That'd be great. I'm looking forward to working on it~! biggrin

Screw it, might as well post the description here

Description:
Brown hair, fairly pale skin, somewhat red-black eyes, is a goth, fair in height(About average). The atmosphere around me is dark and shadowing. There is a sense of death surrounding me, on the ground there is shadows that look like bodies, and on my neck, hands, cheek, clothes. My clothes are black boots, black jeans, red shirt with a slightly heavy but light designed jacket, there's a collar on my neck, a katana is in my right hand and a rose in my left. I am looking slightly straight forward and my expression is somewhat blank with a hint of insanity. The katana I am holding has a bloody blade.

Wow....why does some of it sound biased......

A little, and a little not. It sounds like fun, actually.

I've taken the liberty of simplifying the order a little bit from the description, so if there's anything else you want to add before I start with some preliminary art, now would be the time:

Description of character:
Brown hair
fairly pale skin
somewhat red-black eyes
is a goth
fair in height (About average)

Clothing:
black boots
black jeans
red shirt
slightly heavy but light designed jacket

Accessories:
collar on neck
bloody bladed katana in the right hand
rose in the left hand

Setting:
The atmosphere around the character is dark and shadowing.
There is a sense of death around the character
on the ground (as well as neck, hands, cheek, and clothes) there is shadows that look like bodies
facing straight forward
expression is somewhat blank with a hint of insanity

I can't say I've ever heard of shadows that look like bodies on hands, neck, or clothes, but I'm not above attempting, at least. I'd kinda like to know what color collar you'd like, as well as the color of rose and jacket (unless it's red as well as the shirt?). Are the jeans ripped? What material is the shirt and jacket? (Leather? Cotton? Polyester?) Is the hair short? What about the bangs? As for the setting, since there are bodies, should I place some tombstones (as in, is this a grave site, or the site of a bloodbath/massacre?) Anyway, even with these questions, it still looks like quite a fun project! 3nodding

Collar color: Black with gunmetal red trim spikes
Rose color: Black with red cracks and blood dripping from it
Jacket: Pure black
Jeans: no, unless you want to add some rips to it for creepiness factor
Jacket is leather, while shirt is what they make shirts out of XD Cotton I guess?
Just make the hair kinda goth like, like rebel emo whatever
The site is kinda local for the bloodbath, if you want to add tombstones go ahead, but try to make it a local enviroment (like a school or something)

Goodluck, have fun, and listen to this while your doing it XD

Alright, final order confirmation!

Description of character:
Brown hair (rebel emo? I'll see what I can come up with.)
fairly pale skin
somewhat red-black eyes
fair in height (About average)
basically a goth

Clothing:
black boots
black jeans
red shirt
slightly heavy but lightly designed black leather jacket

Accessories:
collar on neck (black with gunmetal red trim spikes)
bloody bladed katana in the right hand
rose (black with red cracks, and blood dripping from it) in the left hand

Setting:
The atmosphere around the character is dark and shadowing.
There is a sense of death around the character
on the ground (as well as neck, hands, cheek, and clothes) there is shadows that look like bodies
facing straight forward
expression is somewhat blank with a hint of insanity
Local environment (like a school, or so)

Also, great song! I'm gonna really enjoy myself! The project will take me a bit (meaning it won't be done tonight, for example), but I'll try to get it done asap.

Oh! While I've been away (college business... gonk ), I've been busy discovering Linux, and other such things... (GIMP! heart ) *shot*

A-anyway, how've all of you been? It's great to see you again! 3nodding

Edit:

@Killer As for avvy or OC art, I can't make any promises that I'm all that GREAT, but I'd be willing to take a shot at it, if you like. biggrin

Welcome back! ^_^ I believe you left before my name change. Remember me?

Conniption? My memory can be flaky, care to refresh it? As for how i've been, i'm sadly still jobless. Though i'm gonna try applying at subway here in the next day or two if I can steal the computer away from my bro. But yeah, i'm still a night owl much to the distaste of my parents... sweatdrop

You were questioning just about everyone and their mother whether or not you should go through with changing your name or not. I can't remember the exact reasons you gave for it, but we all finally convinced you that everyone'd be fine with it, and it was actually a decent name. razz I think it was something to do with the fact that you'd seen it nabbed from ya before in another game or so?

Anyway, about the nightowl/parental distaste, I guess I can kinda relate, haha. Though... the main reason for it over here is simply that Mom's worried I won't be up in time to watch my sisters. (She shouldn't, though. When it comes to family matters like that, I'll do what's necessary to get the job done. cool ) Joblessness? I wish ya good luck with Subway. Really, the work environment in that place always seems really positive to me, so I think you'd enjoy it. I'm trying to just focus on getting a degree in Computer Science before I try the job market again. *shivers* I definitely DON'T want to be put into the position of a call center again... gonk

Oh yeah, I remember now. I really wanted to incorporate the name I came up with on halloween years and years ago, and I do tend to mention the fact that I'm not the only person to come up with such a name. But I also remember that the second thing on my mind was was Kaiser actually meant.

But yeah, they just don't like me sleeping till like 2-3 in the afternoon, and to be honest, even I hate myself for it sometimes.

As for jobs, my most recent applications were at Papa John's and Petsmart, still waiting to hear back from them. If I can remember to get the particular location from my mom again ( I already forgot sweatdrop ) then I can go ahead and apply for Subway online. My mom told me that a location nearby is hiring so chances are a bit better than normal.

What happened with the call center that was so bad? What was the experience like?

I can understand the feeling, but I get even MORE aggravated when, as a result of a midterm or final coming up, I end up losing sleep at designated times, so I end up having to take naps throughout the day as well as going to bed earlier. sweatdrop I mean, I'm not a freaking cat, so I shouldn't have to NEED to sleep upwards of about 12 hours a day. scream (Thankfully, since my midterm has passed, my sleep schedule is coming upon a norm again... for now.)

For the applications, if you're not hearing back, hit them up again. Chances are, you'll end up showing them more that you are DEFINITELY interested in potentially having a job there. That you WANT it. The more you show your face, the more it'll stick! 3nodding

Well, I'm assuming you've had to pay SOME form of bills before, right? An overdue book fee, or something? Well, magnify that to the point that it could potentially affect your credit score (as in a "permanent" mark that lasts around 3 years), and put yourself on the end of the phone trying to deliver said news to the person in this situation. Better yet, you're trying to get a payment to resolve the issue. That was my job. Talk about a high stress level. I mean, don't get me wrong; My coworkers were AWESOME, my manager was about my best friend there, and I had actually gotten to the point that I might've advanced in the place if they didn't have a freeze on promotions. (No joke. My manager actually TOLD me this once I'd handed her my two weeks' notice.) People tended to like me on the phone because I WASN'T so overly aggressive about things, I guess. I just figured it was courteous to be polite and such, y'know? Anyway, jobs like this have a HIGH turnover rate (for good reason!), and are typically meant for something to fill the gap until you can find something better. Personally, I was only paid $8 and hour, for 36 hours a week (not enough to pay bills, have an apartment, and pay groceries, just to put things into perspective), so I didn't have a WHOLE LOT of things to be happy about at the time. Overall, I just don't recommend it. sweatdrop

Well, i've been applying online seeing as most places do that instead of having physical application forms. And I don't think it will let you apply again until your application has expired after like a month or something.

Wow, that does sound stressful. And wall of text? Bah, that's nothing. Remember, i'm very anti Tl;Dr... Whenever I sign up for a site, I always read the entire ToS (Terms of Service you knuckleheads, I know what you were thinking! ) and Privacy Policy and such.

Oh, btw. If you're interested, i've started up a pantry raid thread over in the Frat Party event forum. Come join me if your hungry, though mind you, some people are there to raid other things... >_>

You're right: most places don't have physical applications anymore. And, yes, you're not supposed to redo applications until about 1-3 months later. That doesn't mean you can't visit, or call 'em up or so. Like I said, show 'em you're interested! 3nodding It leaves a WORLD of impression on 'em.

I know you're policy about the TL;DR thing, but I don't like abusing that privilege. sweatdrop

Interesting. Already made a post, if that helps. biggrin

I see, that's good advice. Though I wouldn't know the first thing to say... sweatdrop

And no worries. Like I said, it was still nothing. To me that still wasn't a whole lot. When you make a post that takes up my entire screen from top to bottom with large paragraphs, then you can worry about apologizing if you feel the need. wink
