Guan leaned in and kissed Cerri on the cheek. "Good night, Love," he whispered back. "I promise to give you answers tomorrow." Carefully he stepped inside the room and closed the door. Walking over to the bed, he set the boy upon it and tucked him in before laying on the floor himself and catching some much needed rest.

((And I shall be doing the same. Goodnight Cerri and Tomo, I'll be on tomorrow after 4ish... I think.))

"I didn't leave my bed the first few days." Tomo admitted, eyes glassy as he remembered. "But Ukaia and Baizou dragged me out of bed and reminded me I still had a bar to run and I had a daughter to love and I still had this family I made to take care of. The world still goes on, even when I choose to ignore it. There's no pause button to life." He explained, "If you're looking for a way to lose the pain, I'm afraid I don't have an answer. However, I don't think we can know how to be happy unless we know how to feel pain. I'm sure you'd agree." He sighed and dropped his hand, "I'm very tired, it seems. I don't know how to get rid of your pain, but you will have a peaceful dreamless sleep tonight if my magic holds up. No nightmares. No taunting images of him, just rest." He kissed her temple in an almost brotherly way. He would stay with her until she fell asleep again and then sneak off to spend the night with Cass so that she didn't maim him in the morning.

"I really hate it.." She grumbled walking towards the sink and flicking the focet on. Rubbing her hands under the water she started to wash the blood from her limbs; it wasn't caked on- it was a thin layer but alas blood is thicker then water. Sighing she did get her fill though- she could eat more if she saw it fit to. Her dark eyes just scanned the room quickly as the blood was soon down the drain and gone from her arms, a little of it still under her nails. Cupping the water in her hands she spashed it onto her face to wash it off. Her tender cheek healing quickly- though she didn't think it was quick enough it would be gone soon. It wouldn't bruise her body didn't waste blood like that. After the red was all gone from veiw she found herself presentable. Turning the water off she grabbed a towel and whipped down her face glancing around again. It was indeed a quiet day.

"Hmm?" She blinked, close call River. She was just a moment ago covered in blood. "Oh, If you like but-" She turned looked at him with a sneer reached out and hit him over the head. "I Did not get beat up and watch your Mouth!" She growled ou motioning to the girl. "I Fed this morning for your information the guy just put up a little fight. I don't concider a swollen cheek getting the crap beat out of me." She pointed out kneeling down in front of Rhiannon with a smile. " Oh, Kaia, how is she?" River motioned to the dall with a small smile.

Sam just smirked, even as he was hit on the head. "Didn't sound like he liked that very much. Aren't there willing blood dolls out there?" He asked casually. He wasn't trying to point out her fault at the moment, he was just curious.

Rhiannon smiled and nodded, "She... It's strange. I get this sort of really happy feeling when I hug her and play with her." She said, nuzzling the doll. "Like I did with mama... And like when daddy's fiance plays with me. It's... warm."

Rhiannon looked up at River and shook her head, "I can talk to her?" She asked in delight, tail wagging. He looked down at the doll again and hugged here, handling her with more care than she would any other doll. She smiled wider and walked over to a couch to play with her.

"Is that so?" Sam asked, arching an eyebrow. He suddenly frowned and hit his palm to the bartop, "Just a minute! You said you were going to feed from me my first day here!" He said, suddenly feeling rather used. "Does blood taste better from a well-nourished person?"

Rhiannon just nodded, not sure if she wanted to try outside her room. She decided that she didn't and bowed politely. "Excuse me." She said, running upstairs to her room and closing the door excitedly.

Sam stared at River for a few moments before retorting, "Hell, yeah I'm scared!" He nearly shouted, getting to his feet and knocking over the barstool in the process. "Are you some sort of bi-polar freak or what? You're going out of your way to help me for some reason, but you act like you resent it. I don't want your help if you're going to hate me for it!" He yelled, chin starting to wrinkle as he held back a sob. No... He couldn't cry now. Why did these things happen at all the wrong times. Despite his efforts, tears slid from both eyes and pooled at his chin. A shot of pain sliced over his abdomen as he felt one of his chest wounds reopen. He gasped, reaching for the wound as new blood started to soak through the new bandage.
