I looked up several pages of Twilight reviews. They're pretty diverse, almost 50/50. I'll quote a few in alternating bad/good order: Quote: A hackneyed jumble of cuts and pastes from the book, blended with second-rate music video bits and third-rate visual effects, and finally undone by the fatal casting of Kristen Stewart as Bella.
Within ten years or so, this film (and its inevitable sequels) will look as outdated and ridiculous as the old Beach Party movies, but that shouldn't stop us from sitting back and enjoying the camp with a quiet chuckle.
Too much angst and not enough monsters. In short, I like a bit more vampire in my vampire stories.
Thanks to Pattinson's furrowed eyebrows, crooked smiles and carefully crafted hairstyles, he delivers just the Edward we've been waiting for.
This adaptation of the best-selling novel by Stephenie Meyer never rises above the level of a teen soaper on the CW. Twilight is the ideal vampire movie for teen girls -- and nobody else. Her's the link to several pages of reviews if you want to read for yourself.
Because most of the negative reviews complain that the film is pathetically teenage-girl-ish (a problem that I had with the book) I might not even like the movie. Nonetheless, most reviewers agree that Edward is attractive, hence my superficial side wants to see it. The reviews about Bella vary; I suppose you'll have to see it for yourself to determine if she plays her character well. Personally, I found Bella simple-minded in the book and can't imagine how she'd be challenging to play.

See the thing with Twilight, everyone who has read the book loves Edward right? I don't hehe. I always said I'd take Ron or James over Edward. biggrin Hehe, I guess I am odd. xd
237 days until Half-Blood Prince. It was supposed to come out yesterday emo .

Haha, those review's were hillarious Min. I like the last one the best. That was funny. I thought the movie was pretty enjoyable. Yeah so I read the book, and sort of fell in love, but still, haha, it was a pretty good movie in some views.
I don't really love Edward. He thinks to much of himself sometimes, and blames almost everything on him. Almost. If I had to choose Ron or Edward or James, it would most likey be Ron. Haha. Flaming red hair people! It's gorgous!
Grr I know! They cancled the showing, and I had bought a ticket to the theatre already. I was upset. My friend demanded for another ticket to a show for free. That was pretty funny. In the end, she got a ticket for Bolt and Madagascar 2.
Holy my volleyball team has turned on me... because of someone's brother! Haha that sounds a little weird. My bestie Briana brung her brother to the meet and greet at a resturant. Every one already knew eachother, it was just for the coach really. So anyway, him and I were talking, and they all thought that we were 'hooking up', so they are all asking me questions. Briana said she was fine with it if we were. Gah, I'm so lost in this thing.

Ron and James are both freakin' amazing. Ron is and always has been gorgeous. And with Rupert playing him, it helps xd .
I just went and saw Twilight and thought it was really good. I think I like Edward better in the movie hehe. Oh but the previews showed right and guess what one of the previews were? HBP! They showed part of Ron and the love potion (one of my favorite parts in the book). It was hilarious. Rupert's expressions were rofl ! Yeah, I would've been happy if I just saw that preview.
Yeah, Happy fix right now.
That sounds like a weird situation Hermione. Hehe. I hope you get less lost.. Hehe!

You can both have Ron. If I could have a Weasley, I'd want George. heart
Nah, Hermione, that's a fairly common situation. People, especially young teenagers, often assume that when people of the opposite sex are talking that they must be flirting. It's annoying, but you might as well get used to it because things won't change for a few years. One of my close male friends and I were often asked if we were together, and he's gay!

George was always my favorite out of the twins. He was overshadowed like Ron. biggrin

Ooh, Suze gets around! lol Joking! I'm sure anyone that knows you even a LITTLE bit doesn't think that about you. 3nodding
For the first 3 books I liked the twins equally, but then in 4th when Fred wanted to blackmail Ludo Bagman and George didn't I knew that George was the better bloke. whee

Hehe, I hope. I hate when things like that happen. The real story was actually the guys liked me. Since I talked to them, we automatically are dating? Hehe. Some people are kinda stupid sometimes. (Not all.)
I just like the overshadowed one of the pair best. Like of Harry and Ron, Ron is more overshadowed, I like him best. I am really weird. Plus, most people love Fred. I like being different. xd .And, George is nicest.

I'm sure being dead earns Fred some sympathy votes. I don't really care who's overshadowed and who's not. If I find them to be a more interesting character then I like them best. You don't always like the overshadowed person, for James is definitely NOT an overshadowed Marauder.

True, but in a way he was. He was the one no one remembered. At least people have an idea who Remus, Sirius and Wormtail are. James has got nothing. So in a way.. just kidding. I don't know why I like James. His character interest me and I love his big turn around he made. biggrin
Yup, that might be it!

Sorry, Suze, but you can't make excuses about that. wink Considering how most Marauder era fan fics are (I read LOADS, as I'm sure you do too.) I would definitely say that Wormtail is the overshadowed one. Most fan authors hate him, so frequently he isn't in the story at all. They'll have him stuck in the Hospital Wing because of a Slytherin hex or something, and the other three go on an adventure...Remus under protest, of course! 4laugh
I like James quite a bit also. (No worries; I don't fancy him! lol) When I began writing my own fan fics James was challenging for me to write. I know his character very well nowadays, but in the beginning it was difficult to balance his big head and his big heart. xd

I know xd . I was trying to think of something there, but I had nothing. Hehe That is true. Seeing how I am a HUGE James fan, I hate Peter. So much. True he probably is a bit overshadowed. I see what your saying wink !
Yeah, it is a bit at first. Plus, people protray him so many different ways. It takes experience! biggrin

Haha good point Min! Thanks Suze, I did get less lossed!! I'm so happy though. Jason, the guy who I was 'talking' to, and I are now happily together! I guess we really were flirting haha. The bad part is that we go to different schools. So I don't see him all the time I want. But every Mondy, somtimes Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday we see eachother. So I'm happy.
I hate Peter! I agree with you Suze. He is a jerk. I don't appreciate it much when some unesisary character get's overshadowed. It get's on my nerves sometimes. Not all the time! Haha sorry, I got off topic there. Okay anywhoo... Peter has a good side when they were kids though. He cared about James and Sirius and Lupin, I think...

Oh wow! Awesome Hermione. You get a boyfriend out of the deal. biggrin That always works.
I can't stand Peter even in their teenage years. Gahh, I just can't. How can he be nice and all that to James and then be the cause of his death? I am a bit too strong of a James fan. I am sure Min hates Dolohov probably as much as I hate Peter.
