Seto glanced over at Ayira, glaring. "We're cousins." He said briefly, though that didn't exactly explain the mutual hatred Atem felt towards Seto. The priest couldn't help but want to continue pushing Atem's buttons like that, enjoying seeing the pharaoh get so angry. It was much better than when he was cheerful, or sad, or any other emotion a person could feel. He constantly picked fights and tried to get as angry as he could with his leader.
Feeling his cheeks heat slightly, Seto quickly turned away from the princess. "Well, you heard what he said. You get to share my room, it would seem. I'll show you the way." He muttered, quickly striding out of the throne room, his cape snapping with the speed at which he had turned. Atem paced furiously in the hallway for a good while, trying to calm himself down. He didn't know how, but for some reason Seto always seemed to find out exactly how to piss him off. He hated his priest, his cousin, will a passion, but knew that he couldn't have him killed. It would be inhumane to kill a family member, and besides, Seto was usually a great help. But dammit, did he have to be such a b*****d?

"Ahh so you are fighting for domnince?" ayira questioned. She saw it alot with the men in her tribe. She followed along behind him "Unluckly for you the gods had already chosen him to be the head male of your land..."
Rei sat beside him "It feels like we are getting into even more trouble."

"I know and understand that." Seto snapped, crossing his arms over his chest, still grumpy. "I want what is best for Egypt. Sometimes the pharaoh and I have different ideas as to what that is. If he dies, his daughter will have a better chance at getting the throne than I will."

"hmm...How old is she?If she is too young sombody will had to rule intill she is of age...." Ayira thought for a moment "you have good potential to be a leader. You are ruthless. But that is not all what is good for leading. You must have compassion as well. You are lacking of that......But besides that I belive you would be a good leader. You want what is best for your land. It is only natural that two men think diffrently." Ayira told him.

Seto rounded on the princess, still looking angry. "You can't expect to know what kind of person I am after fifteen minutes of knowing me. Stop talking like a fool and keep on walking." He snapped. He knew that she had a point, but he didn't want to think about it. He couldn't think about being a leader, about being pharaoh. It would be a cold day in the desert when Atem would consider appointing him in any position higher than being a priest.

"Remember, this is just temporary." Bakura said, trying to remain cheerful. He put his arm around Rei's shoulders, holding her close. "If we don't like it, we can always leave. Where did Mariku suggest we go? Nubia?"

Seto remained in an angry state of mind, or at least he tried to. He looked curiously over at Ayira, scowling a little. "Not if I can help it." He said stubbornly, though-- for the first time since meeting the princess-- his blue eyes didn't seem so icy.

Ayira smiled softly. She knew there was more to the priest then his tough outsides. After humming for a moment she started to sing softly. She had a voice of a goddess,as her tribe though her one "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand"
Her whole trbe had sang this to her as she was firsttaken away by the first country she was taken to. the song held great memories to her.

Seto had trouble ignoring Ayira, but couldn't help but listen to the song. He reached his room, but paused just before entering, to look at Ayira quizzically. "Which god?" he asked, regarding the last line in the little song.

Seto shook his head, sighing, as he opened the door. "I am sure the pharoah will allow you to worship what you will, but in case you don't know, we have our own deities here. If you would like, I can educate you on them later." He entered his room, which was lavishly furnished, as a high priests room should be,

"Well, I'm named after the god Set. He is god of the storms, and while some see him as a bad god... He can represent power. He actually killed his brother, Osiris, and scattered the pieces." Seto said, taking off his headgear, running a hand through his hair and sighing. It was midday, and nobody would really be working. It was break time, so he could stop being a priest for now. He continued to remove all of his accessories as he spoke. "He wanted to be king of the gods, but Osiris was the ruler, which is why he killed him and became king. Osiris's son, Horus, came back to claim the throne that was rightfully his. They fought, Horus won, and Set got to be god of the storms and went to live with the sun god."
