Kyohaku Taiyouken oh, and Disneyland was across the street from the convention... Liar. It was two blocks down last year. Unless they moved the convention building, it's on the same side. Across from Disneyland on Harbor is hotels and Denny's (and a sickly McDonalds). Annnndddd..... Just because someone works there doesn't mean they get people in for free. There's different levels. Blue pass, the most typical, only lets family members in for free (immediate, not cousin's fiance's). PLUS! Where's he work? Holly's at Jungle Cruise. ^^ I'll be there the end of this month for Wicked. You really need to go there, you know that?

I'm pretty sure it was across the street, since there was a large wall and some rides behind that...well I could see that one elevator thingy, that's about all I looked for.
He gets one person in free per day, a power that he uses quite a bit he tells me.
And I have no clue what he works at, I never bothered to ask... I'm going back to vegas saturday to pack my things to move down here, I won't be back unil late the 29th, so I don't know...my mom also got tickets for the blue man group though mrgreen

Oh! Ok. You're thinking across um... the one that's perpendicular to Harbor... Katella? I can't remember. Anyway, there's no entrance there. So... technically it's on the same side AND across the street... if that makes any sense.
I think that's a man gate pass, not sure though.
Enjoy Blue Man Group. That's waaaaaay fun. I love the little dudes that spin. And the Luxor's gorgeous. Still... Phantom is at the Venetian... you should go see that. heart

Yeah blue man group is a lotta fun! I can't wait. Phantom? haven't heard of that being at the venetian, I'll try to check it out, my mom got tickets from her work to the blue man group, so maybe I can talk her into getting tickets for that..or at least looking for them, maybe I'll go there, dunno though, I'll be spending most of the time with my grandpa, Idon't know how much time he has left, they botched the surgery becuase the scar tissue from the last 5-6 surgeries had fused a lot of things together, like his intestines to his spleen...and his spleen started to bleed, so they had to patch that up, took about 4 more hours than it should have, but they couldn't get the lymph node in his stomach becuase it was right between everything, pressed up against his aorta so he now has to go to a cancer doctor to get chemo pills and radiation treatment.

Aw, Skye, I'm so sorry. I hope everything works out.
If you get a chance, drive by the Venetian anytime after 10. They do an awsome light show of Phantom against the building. I think Jilli (my mortal enemy) and I are going if I can scrap up enough. If you've never seen the play before, you really should beg your mom. Of course, don't tell her I told you.
Did you ever decide on a college? I'm assuming you're going with Whittier Community since you're living down there, right?

Why're you quoting a post out of the first page of this topic...?
As for not knowing what's happening, if there's any problems with what's going on then simply ask. People that have been here a while could at least give you a generalisation of what's happened so far and what's currently going on.

Did you ever decide on a college? I'm assuming you're going with Whittier Community since you're living down there, right? I'll try, I live about an hour fomr the strip though, so it's iffy, and tickets cost about $75 so I might be able to find enough, it doesn't help that my dad bought a laptop for me and is making me pay him back the entire amount...and he had me thinking it was a gift -.-;; he can be a huge jerk most of the time. I've seen it on t.v. but not live before. I'm going to Rio Hondo Community college, the Whitter college up the street is actully a private university...strange I never knew that. but the admissions people at the college actually searched the california laws for a loophole that I could be treated as a california citizen, so I get the resident tuition...but we can't get any grants or loans for anything or else someone might find out what we were actually doing, since I got a Nevada I.D. they said I forfitted my california residency, and we don't have a lot of money for college...not to mention my dad doesn't want me to work and has me set up as a full time student.

If you can go to school full time without work, it's waaaaay worth it. Trust me. I just signed up for 22 credits next semester, in addition to working graves, and yeah... no sleep for 5 months.
Mm... if you live in Cali for a year, you can get residence. I mean, I kinda cheated on the residency thing because of Josh, but after a year, you can reapply for it, then get a FAFSA grant or something. That's what I have...erm, had.
Ok, time to brag because I can... I just bought my Pirate tickets!!! Due to Peggy Sue's rampage, I have to work tonight so I can go to the midnight one. But I got tickets for tomorrow at 4. Soooo excited. AND!!! I didn't get the mentor position, but my boss gave me a raise! ^^ She said we're too valuable as graves that she doesn't want us switching over to day shift. Bleh.
Right, so, you have a laptop? Cool. Nice? I sure hope so if you have to pay him back (but how since you have no job...).

yep, so technically I'm a resident, but I'm not really, I'm still a resident of Nevada until I get my I.D....but they have on record that I'm a resident thanks to my dad.
I can brag too, got my pirates tickets for 12:00 AM ^^
yeah, my laptop is nice, it's got the newest processor they have..and it was under $1000...gonna expand it to 2 gig ram as soon as I can...I'm paying him off with the graduation money I got.

Bleh. Grad money is to move out, not buy a computer. Then again, um... I bought one with mien... so uh, scratch that.
Lucky. I wish I could watch it tonight. This is like the opening of Star Wars Episode 3 all over again!!!! Grrr...
2 gig RAM? I run so many high memory taking programs (yes, my English skills rock, can't you tell?) and I only have 1 gig. It's all I need. What kind of games are you playing that you think you need 2 gig?
