Thanks, Brookman. I honestly didn't know if there was something in Chapter Approved or White Dwarf that allowed such a thing. However, if there was, I'd likely have heard about it from my local Treadhead.
However, if you're just going for "legal" rules, there's a provision in the Ad.Mech. army list where, for the cost of three Guard plasma pistols, you can remove both weapons from a Chimera and give it a hull Lascannon.

A hull-mounted lascannon in exchange for both weapons? Why not in the turret? That would make more sense to me and make it more useful by giving it a 360 degree firing arc.

I'm not sure why it mandates a hull mounted Lascannon for the Ad.Mech. list. Really, the only way it would make sense was if they had to beef up the generators and therefore couldn't have it on top but even then its a stretch to make it work.
And yes...House Rules. We played a match a few weeks back where we used "orbital deployment," which meant that everything had to drop in as if using Deep Strike. However, the landing points for droops had to be placed within 24" of the back (playing the long way on a 4'x6' board. Tanks had to drop in as well, and they dropped in 12+2d6" from the back line, and then they "slid to a stop" an additional d6 inches. It was fun, and I started with a Leman Russ 30" up from the back line with the closest ally about 10" away.

Do you do any convertions to your vehicles, what color is your army and what regiment are they from.

I I do some minor conversions like on demolisher I shortened the LasCannon so it wasent longer than the main gun. and my Army is Light Blue with Black Carapace and black and grey cammo. The Vechiles once I get back to working on them will be Black with blue and grey cammo

No conversions really, but I like to add bits of character in other ways. Bits of blood on dozer blades, mud trails going into transport hatches, kill counters painted onto the sides, etc. My carapace is a dark tan/gold, and the fatigues are khaki with camo the same color.
They were the 115th Guryan/Macharian Legion, but since have moved off to be the 107th Telsorek.

All my convies are minor, like the autocannon barrel replacing the multilaser turret on my Chimera's turret, but I'm plotting out a kitbash to turn a Basilisk into a Marder III to act as a destroyer tank hunter. And my boys are the gas-masked slategreys of the Kassarine One-hundred and Fourteenth. Though slategrey is beginning to become Egyptian blue with my new painting techniques.

So far all I have are a few extra added bits and whatnot, some stuff to make them look more lived in, but soon I plan on trying to get a couple of Predator turrents and using them on Chimeras and possibly even a a Leman Russ variant, such as an Annihilator.
Oh, and I've scratch-made a Earthshaker platform. I aim to try and put a lot of detail into my tanks, but I just don't get around to it.

My army scheme is Black armor with green fatigues. Silver detailing.
Cadian 110th pattern if youve seen it on DOW.

-=: Inbound Serious Question :=- What're your opinions in regards to Ogryn? I've used them a few times to moderate effect against Marines and Sisters, usually slapping them into a Chimera and having them rush the lines to Head or Heavy hunt. If you guys use them, do you have any good strategies for using them? If you don't, why not? Are there any glaring defects with them?

Ogryn are best used as counter-charge or for whacking enemy HQ units. Try softening up the intended target first though, because sending Ogryns in a Chimera out there all alone is foolish. If you can spare the points throw six into a Chimera with heavy flamers and smoke, that way you can speed over, scorch them and then unload six angry Ogryns onto their asses.

Alright, sounds good, Brookman. In my last battle (versus Sisters) they ended up hunting down one of the Canonesses my opponent was using. They were going to wheel and continue to wreak havoc across the line of his Rhinos, but the game was called on account of running out of time.
