Of course he wasn't helping. He wasn't doing all this work to stop him from coming. In fact, he highly encouraged it. He didn't care if it was once, twice, or even three times that Micha came. Samuel didn't think of his actions as babying, so much as being cautious. Ugly as the wounds were he wasn't about to embarrass Micha and force him to cover up. In his humble opinion, it better that he see them for what they were. To remind Micha that his bruises would fade, his bones would heal and Samuel would still think he was the most gorgeous man he'd ever laid eyes on. Sure his wounds weren't the prettiest thing to look at right now, but at least he was acknowledging them and taking the effects of this very situation they found themselves in into consideration.
