 Alex gulped. "I'm Alex Vishin and I'm from Terracone Island off the coast from these woods. I know magic, but I can make potions and enchant things. I'm really good at that and teleporting. And I'm a human." He wondered if he should be telling him all this.

Katsu nodded and extended his hand for a hand shake. "Katsuobushi Nekoni, I won't tell you, nor anyone else, where I'm from. I am a neko as you can tell by the tail and ears but I am also a ghost, able to be intangible as well as 'phase' which is essentially teleporting." His face didn't hold much of an expression but it wasn't hostile.

Alex shook it. "Ummm.... I also kinda turn into a baby whenever its night." He added randomly and stayed quiet. I know, I'm not much of a talker. He thought to himself. Does everyone have cat ears and a cat tail here?

"Hey, they're normal. There's others too. Dragons, Inus, Kitsunes, Vampires and so forth." he took another sip from his cup. "But the baby thing is interesting." He was wondering what was going through this kid's head. "In case you wonder, I use to be a con artist so no I don't read minds I just can take very good guesses at your thoughts."

He's definately not lying about that. I should probably not piss this guy off. Alex shifted quietly and looked around the room, before back at Katsu. "Can I have more tea?" He asked.

"Certainly." he took the cup and filled it up before coming back and handing it to the kid. "So Alex... what did you use to do? You know, a job. what was your job?"

Alex tasted the tea. this time, it tasted heavenly. He finished the cup before talking again. "I kinda helped the villiagers out by doing odd jobs and such." He looked away, ready to be laughed at, like the villiagers did to him when he talked about his dream job. "But I maybe one day wanna opened a potion or enchantment store."

"Not hard to do here, you just need the money or the skill to make it." Katsu finished his first cup. "Myself, I help around the cafe my wife owns. I'm nothing but a waiter, but I occasionally introduce myself as the assistant manager."

"Thinking on something?" Katsu guessed, raising a brow. He ignored the nice job comment as far as speaking about it went. "Feel free not to tell me, not like it hurts my feelings."

"Mhm." Katsu said as he put his glass up. "Do you want anymore tea?" he asked rather calmly and politely, still trying to figure out this kid and his current condition.

Alex regained his attention and nodded. "Yes please." He wondered if Katsu thought he was nuts. He probably does. It's not like he's the first anyway.

Katsu poured Alex another cup after taking the cup back. Once full, he handed the hot tea back to the kid. "So how old are you? Again, feel free to refuse to answer any of my questions."

Alex bowed to Katsu and took the tea. "It really does taste good." He mumbled to himself. He then faced Katsu again. "I'm 10 years old."
