STKMisu Goodness... I'm reminded of a lengthy discussion from one of my classes in school about football, but I don't think the boys would be very comfortable with my repeating the theory. xd stare football is a game of strategy & technique.. of infiltration & defense.
there is an incredible amount of skill involved to execute the exact amount of power & precision it takes to pass, catch, and hold onto the leather ball while traveling at top speeds & avoiding bodily contact.. and mayhaps even more to deliver a blow hard enough separate man & ball, to jar an attacking opponent's body into the ground, or to hold someone up for a set amount of time.

...Still sounds dumb to me, but waddya expect, I don't like sports at all because I'm unathletic. One of my best friends played on the football team freshmen year, and she seemed to like it... But anywho, I really should take a shower and like...finish my laundry >.< I'll be back later perhaps, if I get bored.

STKMisu Then again, to throw a monkey into the works, there is the problem of thinking too much (admittedly, this is my problem). xd the perfect balance of thinking/acting/reacting is crucial in any situation.. like in football. 4laugh

blaugh The complexity of football, I do not doubt. Personally, I thought the theory that I mentioned before was hilarious to listen to, especially with the debate that raged afterwards (and... it was a perfect example of being able to twist anything into any interpretation whatsoever). For some reason I cannot remember if it came up in the Gender and Communications or the Nonverbal Communications class... *ponders*

Either it deadens the conversation or sets people off on philosophical tangents... and leads to football discussions.
