Kaida just remained silent, letting their breathing be the sound between them. Her eyes gradually closed, and soon she fell asleep.



A week had passed in human time, for vampire children it's faster. James had grown much larger and was soon going to learn the process of walking, talking, and potty training. He has already started babbling. Soon Talon and Echo would be returning to Kale and Kaida, maybe in a few hours human time.

As for that couple, Kaida had a bulge on her stomach that was hardly noticable and was starting to drink more blood than before. Kale was feeding regularly, and they had actually been living in the small cottage for a while now. However with the baby growing and wanting to live close to Talon, they would have to meet up with them and find a new place. Her powers hadn't come out much for they could harm the baby, and Kale was on more edge than ever. Kaida started to wear looser clothes to hide the fact she was pregnant--mainly because there were always wandering eyes, and she didn't want to lose the child to a vampire hunter.In fact most people wouldn't even know she was pregnant. They hadn't spoke to Talon in the whole week, so she and Kale didn't know what to expect when they would see James, nor would Echo and Talon if they could tell she was pregnant, nor did they know about the marks on their necks.

Kaida woke up in her new pink silk pajamas. Kale and her had bought some clothes and lived quite nicely in the small cottage for some time, but they knew they would have to move. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked at the father of her child. Since they could not hide anything she knew he would wake soon, but still slipped out of the bed as gently as possible. Walking to the bathoom she looked in the mirror. Turning to the side she saw nothing unusual, but when she lifted her shirt a rounded bulge was there. Her hand gently rubbed the skin as she stared into the mirror. At meerly 18 years old she had a family, and didn't regret one bit. A fraction of worry slipped into her mind, but Kale's words reminded her not to so she took a deep breath and sighed, focusing on how wonderful the child would be. Opening her eyes once more she just stared at her stomach, half in disbelief that this was true.

Talon had done everything for Echo and James, feeding Echo enough times so she wouldn't faint after james fed from her. He soon would have to learn to hunt, but he wasn't breast feeding anymore he out grew that now and it was too dangerous in Talons opinion to Echo to allow the breast feeding to continue after a few days. So now James fed from both of them by biting their wrists, sometimes he went for Echo's blood sometime for Talons, neither of them minding though. However, he was starting to feel calmer about his new family as James began to grow stronger, even a small bit of power escaped from James some times when he wanted something. He was able to control wind and the shadows/darkness it seemed. Talon thought that he got the darkness part because Echo might control darkness or light...but she hasn't shown any power yet and really she was still too young in vampire years to show it just yet. Whereas James was born with it, it would show more easily.

Talon was brought out of his thoughts when he felt Echo run her fingers through his hair and turned to her. "Then I would be forced to cut my hair so it wouldn't happen again." he teased in return. Though he has thought about cutting his hair for a while now.

Kale was so concerned about Kaida's every step and movement he was getting extremely paranoid. The only real time he ever got to rest was when she was asleep really and then he would sleep restlessly, keeping his guard up should an enemy come and snatch her away again. He never let her leave the room without him and when they left the cottage to feed, he would have her hand in his at all times. At least Kaida was true to her word about letting him do all the worrying at least that he was grateful and relaxed about. Though he didn't know how Talon could be so calm while Echo was pregnant only to loose his cool near the end since she was just about to give birth, which was natural, whereas Kale is going crazy with making sure Kaida didn't trip or lift heavy things, even if anything heavy for a human was a feather for vampires. But last night he actually got the chance to sleep peacefully and it relaxed his mind and body greatly. So when Kaida woke up it slowly registered in his mind waking him up groggily.

Though when he finally opened his eyes, he smiled as he saw his mate looking at her stomach in the mirror and was behind her in an instant arms around her, one holding her and one on top of her hand on her stomach. "You're coming along nice, my lovely mate." he stated softly, kissing her neck. He wouldn't admit to her face, but it wasn't like he could hide it in more than one way, but he grew extremely horny when he saw her skin and her rubbing it. It had been a week and since he usually had her in his arms every night, he was getting greedy of having her under him writhing everytime he saw her, but this morning she just push that little self control and broke it.

"I like your hair though." Echo said, kissing him briefly. She had enjoyed her time as a mother. Echo still didnt understand why the women would harm Talon's other children ,but she didnt like to think on that. She was thrilled, because she never considered having a family, she thought that if she did have a child there would be the chance that they would be like she had been. Echo picked up James, gong over to sit by Talon. "You know I really had the best luck when I got lost and foud my way inside your house. Its kinda a curious thing." She said grinning.

Kaida's eyes opened in surprise as a gentle moan escaped her lips. She let his hands wander where they pleased, but the growls persisted stronger. She licked his wrist and drank his blood eagerly after having a satisfying time. She seemed to drink more blood each day, and her stomach grew more every day. She drank and drank from him as he did what he wanted, focusing on her hunger and pleasure.

Talon smirked and returned her kiss. "Of course, you are the only one for me, but that doesn't stop humans from being attracted. You know that." he teased lightly. He was feeling a lot more calmer now that a week had gone by without incident and James was becoming much stronger in health and in strength. James had yet to do anything that would cause him to be in trouble, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't before three months were up, especially since they were going back to their mansion with the other vampires there. He would have to rearrange his chambers that was for sure. "Even james here will attract humans as he is a child and they often bring humans without meaning to."

Talon laughed at her comment on James. "My dear, he already is a charmer, just look at how he charmed you so easily without even trying." he teased her softly, picking up James from her arms he let James stand on his knees to get his strength going and to get his own bonding with his son. "Yes, I suppose we should leave here soon to find Kale and Kaida. After they are located and ready, we will head home. You and James could use the experience of being around other vampires. Humans are not a good idea for either of you to come across for a while yet. Your self control isn't ready to be pushed like that." he answered, his eyes getting a far away look as he thought of his plan of action and if he was ready to let his family out of his sight and not in arms length.

Talon only shrugged and allowed his son to bit his arm a few times, but after three times he stopped it. If James got too used to biting he would never stop and be a crazy vampire. "In three hours I'll search for some food for me to feed on and feed you then we'll go in search of the other two." he told her finally.

Kale lay beside Kaida after their little fun. She had gotten him so worked up he couldn't leave her alone for a long while. "Soon we'll have to deal with two vampire children running around and causing mayhem." he teased her softly.
