"Kiranesis...the MAI unit managed to escape the portal...plus it has gained power from my duplicate, what should we do now? It will only continue to pursue us..." Rosa now flew beside Kira, still maintaining their speeds even separate.
Kira glanced over at Rosa, even though she had no eyes, mouth, nose and ears in this form. Kira could still see everything, only with her mind instead of her eyes. "Do not worry, they won't interfere...unless they want to destroy everything they know..." The angel's halo darkened up a bit, from crimson to almost pure black. It seemed to express her mood.
"After all, the entire web will collapse if I were to die, the very last of the weavers. And if the web collapses, everything will fall to ruin..."

And her final words were... "((It's the soul that possesses Kira's body, Kira herself isn't actually this angel -she's just human, but it's this entity that the researchers of Exias fused into her body long ago.
This soul is the angel, and the angels -both light and dark- were the weavers of the web millions of years ago. You know, that web that Layla erased herself from about 30-40 pages ago? The web of the universe found only in Nova? The thing that would make trillions of trillions of people and planets die if it collapsed?
All of the other angels died out long ago (Or else became corrupted and reverted back to being a human spirit), and the sections that each of those angels weaved all faded from the universe with them.
So, Infinity would have to travel waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the past to make even just one other angel survive, and even then, the chances of that one surviving are slim to none....Infinity would probably have to re-start the entire freaking universe and life itself to fix this problem... sweatdrop ))

Angels don't just go to humans... Angels go towards life with divine tendencies... Those created with them. Who said that only humanity could hide the angels? A bit greedy, are we not? Why not the Siofra of Asteia, carrying the line as well, albeit forgotten.)

Maggie ignored Rosa, more concerned with Devvri. Soon, Maggie had Devvri in a safe little ditch, watching the battle above. Once the battle ceased, Maggie asked Devvri a series of questions involving their situation, before they levitated into the air and flew towards the nearest friendly village.
Except that, instead, they could not get off the ground. "What's wrong?" Devvri asked, already up-to-speed on Maggie's battle with Eseptos. Maggie only shook her head, tears forming in her eyes.
"Eseptos has abandoned me. I am its Guardian no longer."
Devvri was silent at this revelation. Levitation, omni-presence, and any other powers that Maggie once possessed were now taken from her. Eseptos would choose another guardian, now. A New Guardian.

Back at the Atlantis, where Blake and Marth (relatively) were located, a queer, intense shriek of sound filled the air. the entire crew of the Atlantis, and all in the Jupiter, could hear this shriek, as if a massive banshee were above them, wailing down from the infinite realms of space.
Blake, who was STILL SUFFERING from his heart condition, suddenly stopped breathing. And then started again. His heart was fine... it was repaired. And, suddenly, Blake's bed was levitating.
