((.. that goes against genetics... ya know? but okay.))
Alucard yelped in pain and eventually had to retreat to a dark corner... not that there were any. Sunlight even hurt him after awhile, especially stuff as strong as this. ____________
D felt like he was going to throw up, but he joined Ivy in battle anyways. Using the shield to protect him until the last minute D let the Scythe fly and take out the rest of the dastardly sunlamps... it wasnt long though before he too fell fatigued. Even with the shield the sun was a bit much... at least all of the lamps were destroyed... right?

((There is always a 50/50% chance thata vampire born to one vampire parent and one human parent that they will be a full blood vampire. But it's always a 50/50% chance. At least thats what I read in one of the books I have. (not in VHD or Hellsing but in a different one but the am escapes me))
After Ivy got all of the glass out of her hands, she walked crawled over to D and held up her hands.
"This should help D, take what's needed. I may have to sit this one out. I don't suppose I could get a couple blood packs from you could I though? All mine were in my jacket with the Cycle. I'll give back what I take out of my stock, but i you have any to spare you'll get it back." Ivy sat next to her brother under the sheild. With her body as weak as it was, she could feel the heat getting to her and it was makin her want to pass out for the rest of the time.

Dag started feeling the sunsickness coming on. Everything was blurry, like a bad photograph. The sunlamps were eventually destroyed. So many in one place.... Unbelievable. Vincent and Victor didn't look too good after that solar attack. Hector was also worse for wear.
The shield unraveled a pair of "sun flares", one on either side. Hm... this was interesting. They were gold in appearance too.
"Ugh... I feel a headache coming on... what happened?"

D just handed Ivy a packet that he pulled out of a place on his suit. "Ill be fine.. just feels like im gonna pass out and then throw up..." D commented. "What the hell are these?" D said he was breathing heavy from the effects of the sunlamps. D pointed to the sun flares on the shield. ____________
"Sunlamps... really powerful ones." Alucard commented.
Alucards bone, muscle and flesh was knitting back together as he shifted into his usual form. Part of his jaw was still coming back even as he spoke. "Everyone alright? Or as much as we can be?" Alucard asked.

Vincent managed to pick himself up and lean against the wall. Victor remained on the floor, and Hector was shifting himself into his wolf-bat form for a faster recovery. Dag wanted to just sleep, to be honest. Hector answered for D, "It isn't called Solar Kite for no reason. If completely charged of sunlight, it'll grant immunity to its wielder for about... ten minutes. Ow."
The giant monster form that was Hector managed to sling Victor on his back. It would take some time for the vampires to recover... if their bloodlust did not kick in first. This compound was going to be hard.

Ivy nodded as she gently took the packet from D.
"Thanks, I'll replace it when we get back. And I know the feeling. Did I ever mention that if I'm badly wounded in sunlight and I haven't had anything to eat I tend to ge the same symptoms as sunsickness?" Ivy tried to chuckle but it only made her feel light headed. Then she looked over at her father and called.
"I will be after i get something in me I'm hoping it will be that psycho scientist before too long, tha is after D and Dag have had their way with him first." Ivy then smiled and slowly stood up, held her bloody hand to her brother to help him up before she opened the packet that D had given her.

D nodded to Hector. Thatll be useful... later.. hopefully. D took his sisters hand and got up. He stumbled over to Dag who looked ready for nap time. D grabbed Dags collar and pulled him close. "Wake up! We have to go after your psychotic father!" D shouted before mummbling something about wanting to sleep himself.
"Time to go.." D said before he patted Dag on the shoulder and turned around. D started walking ahead. _________
"Lets move out then boys and girls!" Alucard shouted with laughter before he started after D.

They indeed moved into the complex. Seems now the good scientist wasn't playing around. Doors slid open from the hall ceilings, letting genuine sunlight in. What the hell was he trying to do?!
Vincent and Hector immediately scrambled for dark places, particularily Hector. He had a wounded, almost near-dead vampire on his back. Victor couldn't afford anymore punishment like that. D's shield, Solar Kite, started to charge some more due to being in contact with sunlight. Dag also immediately scrambled for darkness. Wolfgang... just kept walking....

Ivy opened the blood packet and drank it as quickly as she could without losing a drop. Once it was drained, she burnt the packet and let the melted plastic fall to the floor.
Ivy followed behind her brother as best she could, checking her hands every so often and when she made her hands into fists or at least tried, all she did was grit her teeth in pain.
"Damn, it's gonna be a while before I can actually use my hands for anything. I hope I won't need to use them for awhile." She thought.
Then Ivy looked up and immediatly pushed her shades harder against her face and followed her brother. Her open wounds would start to ash around the edges and that wouldn't be good for her or her unborn ******** this b*****d just won't let up. He should be trying to run not fight us off. He should be making it a little easy for us. Oh wait, he's a psycho,of course he's not going to run, he want's to die the hard way." Ivy growled and then started to run to anyplace that had some shade so she could get into the shadow relm. If the shadows that helped her a few days ago were willing to help this time, then she would have it made.

"This is really starting... to suck.." D said as he kept his shield over his head. It would collect sunlight while he was safe from its affects... well most anyways. "Cant we find someway to stop this?" D said to everyone. ________
"Blowing up the sun is out of the question..." Alucard joked as he loosened his crimson tie. "Armageddon any ideas? You have been quiet..."

"I aM oUt Of IdEaS. ThAt DiSrUpToR hAs LaStInG eFfEcTs. I cAn'T eVeN tHiNk StRaIgHt RiGhT nOw."
Everybody seemed rather wounded from the encounter with the sunlamps. Wolfgang got an idea, "Maybe we should hold out until nightfall."
That sounded like a plan... somewhat. The group seemed worse for wear.

"Hnnn?" Alucard questioned. "Sleep here while we wait for the sun to go down? While the Madman has time to play?" Alucard asked before turning his crimson gaze to the sun. ____
"Fine.. good.. whatever.." D said as he joined Dags side. "We arent getting far, all i can think of is sleep." D said gently, sun made D more compliant. ____
And it made Alucard more docile, leaning up against the wall, where the sun wasnt so intense, Alucard nodded in agreement. "Get your head straight Armageddon.. try to." Alucard said before slumping down the wall and into a sitting position. Alucard closed his eyes and rested his head back on the wall.

Ivy smiled at Wolfgang's idea but still tried to find a place near by with a bit of shade so she could warn the others what she had found.
"I like the idea, but I'll keep trying to find a bit of shade for all of us. Don't wait up for me. If I'm not back by night fall, then go ahead and I'll try and either find you or get out." Ivy called as se ran further down the hall to find some shade if there was any. She herself would need the shade but for now she was going to risk her own life for the others. If she happened to pass out in the middle of hall, she'd be lost, but at least they couldn't say she didn't try.

Dag was about to go to sleep, but woke to the sound of boots quietly hitting the floor. Somebody was walking toward them. In the sunlight, it was clear who it was. Well, who was out of the question, it was more of a what.
D's android counterpart.
It quietly stopped at the end of the hall, and stood there, like a statue. Unlike the real D, this android was impervious to sunlight. Water did not harm it, and certainly not stakes to the heart. It had the strength and speed of a vampire, the quick, turn-on-a-dime reflexes of a machine, and the processing power of a supercomputer. It was perfect. The only thing it lacked was a soul.
The thing simply stood there in the sun, artificial eyes scanning the party's current states. It was acceptable for what it had planned. The sound of heavy tread-wheels rolled in. Portable sunlamps, huge ones too. They took aim, but did not activate yet.
What was it waiting for?

D growled and started advancing towards the Android version of himself. "Copy me you soul less piece of s**t metal! You come to kick us while were down?!" D shouted as he continued walking towards the thing, Scythe tightly in hand.
"Just die you freaking computer!" D roared before he broke out into a full run and whipping the Scythe around in an arc towards the Androids head. _____
"There he goes again with that foolish behavior." Alucard commented as he opened an eye.
