Oh... I just had an idea..what about customizing our weapons? like depending on rank and weapons/specialty you get different customizations and a higher max number of parts you can add, obviously weapon specialists would have extra weapons customization options.

I'll tell you what, If you really want that to happen compile how everything would work down to the last details and present it to me via PM.
....In case you didn't catch my tone, I don't think you can do it.

Well, I originally try to discourage people so they don't try and fail.
You should realize there's a whole hell of a lot of work to be done if we were to institute such a policy.

true but If I fail, I fail, and if I don't fail then it will be a huge contribution right? so I might as well.

Didn't HTRP used to have a weapon-customization thing that was scrapped because the system was convoluted and cumbersome? Just to state my disapproval of the entire concept of weapon-modding in a HALO role play, I want to bring up the point of how fast you go through weapons in that game. It's not like Mass Effect where you basically stick with your favorite guns the entire time and can actually mod them. In Halo you use whatever you want then ditch it after it runs out of ammo or you find something better. I don't think the UNSC would be giving access to weapon customization at such a late stage in the war, where the only planet left to the UNSC is Earth.

I agree with Ian to an extent.
But I must say maybe for later when me move into earlier dates in the Halo universe we could try. For one I can agree that when you run out of ammo you grab another boom boom stick.
Of course when I think of that I'm thinking of Master Chief who has a 'running and gunning' ideal in his mind thanks to shielded armor. I'd think snipers and perhaps close combat soldiers might add a few small things to their weapons. Its so, so could work and it'd be a cool add on but it isn't really that big of a deal anyway. My word is Elfnegore go for it if you want and if it works it works and that will be a cool add on if not your going to have to deal with your work being for nothing.

Hmmm, no, nothing more I hate than wasted time, besides, now that I think about it, your right, Halo is the kinda thing where you use a gun, drop it, and move on.
