I've never met anyone who actually speaks like a stereotypical Canadian, it's usually just something confined to television. Though, my friend from Toronto does pronounce some things oddly.
My roommate is like that, too, Lone, though on a broader scale. When she is talking to Americans (like us) she'll speak with an American accent, though if she's talking to British people or English speakers in Europe, she'll speak with a British accent. My school's American, so she usually sticks to an American accent no matter what, but she'll sometimes pick up a slight German or Swedish or French or Italian accent, if she's talking to someone from any of those countries. (That may be because she's fluent in French and Italian, too, but still.)

ME TOO. She speaks English, Norwegian, Italian, and French fluently, and she speaks Japanese pretty well, and is quickly picking up Korean (she's in Seoul right now). AND she's really pretty and fashionable on top of it. D< Perfect human being, I swear.

Pants - At my old University they had a strict dresscode of professional attire for academic classes and then culinary uniforms for labs. It was horrendous having to wear heels and dresses or skirts every day. I'm looking forward to wearing my sweatpants to class at some point. :3
Accents - I have a country accent. It's really bad sometimes. And then if I watch a movie I pick up the accents from that. Like I watched Narnia one night, yeah the next day I sounded flipping British. I don't notice that I pick up accents either unless someone points it out. It's embarrassing. >w<

In fact, I think some girl thinks I'm her stalker because I run into her everywhere. O-o
She's at least as gracious and good-natured as to not act or be awkward about it. I promise, it's just coincidence... and that her apartment building is a block away. SO. we basically run into each other all the time on the way to our respective apartments, but what about everywhere else? D=
