Veroen was silent, once more, as they continued to walk throughout the Park. Few things crossed his mind at this point. The only thing that concerned him now was the current situation at hand, walking with his beloved. A few thoughts escaped the depts of his complicated mind however. He couldn't ask her for help whenever it came to a dangerous situation, ever. He would not put her at risk, she was much too fragile to be put in danger. He had no desire to see anything happen to her. So if it came to that, he would do anything, whatever it took, to keep her from harms way. Veroen could tell that something was differet in the city, a malovent force was here now, and he knew not the intoentions of this force. If it put any of them in danger, then it was a threat, and Veroen would not stand for this.
He kept his pace next to Eden, and made no reaction visible on his face to these thoughts. These thoughts were better left unsaid, for he knew it would upset her, and he didn't want that to happen. He looked over at her and smiled, full of compassion.

Eden couldn't help but have her own gut instinct tell her that something bad was going to go down, something worse than the media going insane and sweeping across all of New York to convince people that vampires and demons existed. This feeling was much more ... dreadful and it was a lot more terrifying than the revealing of the creatures of the night. It left her apprehensive and unlike Veroen, Edith wasn't at all skilled at concealing her emotions. Every stride she took screamed with apprehension and it was horrifically obvious that she was unsettled. However, she didn't want to ruin the walk or make a huge fuss of things to come so she simply tried to enjoy herself and shove such feelings to the back of her mind.
"It's kind of chilly this evening," she commented, clearly not one that handled silence all that well.

Prometheus smiled when Leelan kissed him. He kissed her back, and helped her up by taking her hand. "I believe I smell him in the Residential District. Do you want to go visit?" The Lycan asked smoothly, smiling the entire time. She was finally free from Vampirism, finally free of death... It only made him happy.

Veroen held his smile, noticing that she seemed apprehensive at the moment. He squeezed her hand lightly, as a bit of reasurance. He looked forward for a moment, and decided to ask her something. "When will you decide the time is right to become a Lycan?" The question just kinda popped out of his mouth casually.

"Hell if I know. I gotta find a lycan that'll turn me first and that might take some real work since no one seems to be very handy at the moment considering the fact that the FBI's crawling all over the place trying to weed out the impure. ********. I just realized if I become a friggin' lycan that means I'm going to have to watch my a** or those a** holes are going to try and kill me even though I'm on their side for the most part. I hope they're differentiating which people are actually threats and which ones are able to be left alone and undisturbed. Of course, I think that's a little too much to ask for or expect of them so ... Are you that eager for me to become hairy and stinky?" She smiled at him and gave him a quick kiss.

His grin returned to his face whenever she gave him a quick kiss. Honestly, he still didn't exactly like the idea. But she most likely would never have agreed to become a Vampire, for it would most likely kill her Lycan baby. He just wanted her to be able to protect herself better, if things came down to it. Veroen was still fixed on the idea that something bad was going to happen, and he had a decent idea of who it involved. It was obvious that it wasn't the Vampire's, and he hadn't noticed Jaden around the city lately, nor did he notice Daiguren around the city. Something told him that it involved them. Veroen was pretty smart whenever it came to danger, it was required to become an effective assassin, to trust your instincts.
He thought about this for a moment, and then decided he wanted this to happen ASAP. He knew the ways of Lycan's, for it was what his life was based on, tracking Lycan's, knowng their lives and culture, as well as their biology. He didn't want anyone else to transform her, nobody other than thir Alpha, Jaden. Jaden was obviously the best choice for something like this, he was their leader, after all.
"I just want to get it over with, actually. And I want you to be a little more hardier than you are as a human, in case things get bad." He looked at her with a smile, and wondered what she would think of this.

She seemed to mellow with his mention of her being hardier but it really hadn't been anything he said that'd upset her, it was the fact that her brother wasn't here to help her out. The only lycan she would ever trust to turn her was her brother and he was absolutely no where in sight, he'd abandoned the hunters and Will was in a coma. Things just weren't going well at all. "Yeah ... I guess I'm just kind of trying to wait things out to see if Sethe ends up turning up out of the blue ... He's my brother, not biological but he's a blood brother all the same. He's a lycan and he's the only damned lycan I'd ever trust to turn me but that's probably not going to happen in time ..."
Eden had no idea that Veroen had in mind that Jaden should be the one to turn her and if he'd told her that she most likely would have directly opposed the idea since the wolf had tried to kill her before. Yeah, she knew it was a little childish to be so picky when she had so few options but she definitely didn't want Ceon turning her and Jaden turning her made her skin crawl at the idea. Of course, there really weren't that many options and in the end she'd rather go with Jaden than Ceon since he was an absolute air head.

Veroen nodded doubtfully at the idea of her brother turning up soon enough to do it. He hesitated, and looked at her uncertainly. He then decided to just come out with it.
"Do you trust me..?" he asked, before he would come out with the real question.

Eden looked at him as if he'd asked the stupidest question on the face of the earth and her eye brow cocked at his question as she eyed him strangely though not quite suspisciously. She then shifted her weight around though she was really just kicking at the snow a bit and brought her aviators down over her eyes. Her hands had been jammed rather violently into her pockets as she decided to respond with her own question that also made her response rather apparent, "Do I have a reason not to?"

Veroen smiled at her. "No, you do not have a reason not to." He looked down, wonering what her reaction would be to his proposal. "What if I asked you to let Jaden do it...?" he let the words out, hoping with every inch of his being that she would accept.

Kamahl started to hear voices off in the distance. He slowly made his way in the direction of the people while staying in the shadows. The rumors of FBI capturing nightwalkers and subjecting them to experiments got him a little nervous....he is always on his guard and not very trusting of others anyways.
"I thought that everybody was hiding in their homes with all the talk of abductions and whatnot."

"If that's who I think it is then there's no f**king way. You do realize that that huge wolf tried to kill me back when Tokeru and I were a unit and were out hunting and whatnot? I would have died if I hadn't been on those friggin' vampire drugs or whatever they were. They were like friggin' macho steroids that completely alter you beyond belief! It's ridiculous! But yeah ... I don't trust him at all, he tried to snap my f**king neck. Would you trust someone that tried to do that to you for absolutely no reason?"

Veroen always was able to put up a good argument. He instantly replied.
"He wont harm you if he knows that you are carrying a Lycan pup...Plus I still have a bit of a problem with this, and I know alot about Lycans, and the only one i would trust to be able to handle such an action would be the Alpha." He stated this, and looked at her, solid in his opinion.
((And Kamahl, are you talking to us? you didn't specify who you were talking to...))

Meredith didn't look convinced in the least and she gave him a droll stare as her initial response to his suggestion. She was not at all prepared to trust some psycho that'd kill just as likely as he'd help her. "Maybe he f**king eats them instead and doesn't give a damn if I have my kid or not and will laugh in my face for asking him to do me a favour. Why would he care just because I got knocked up by some dumb-a** lycan that doesn't even care about me or his kid and tried to kill the both of us along with you?"

Veroen had also thought about this. "He wont. He can't do that to Lycan pups. Its his job as the Alhpa to do what is best for the pack, and your baby is part of that pack." He said this with determination, and then added, "And I wont let anything happen. I wouldn't just go into a situation like that without having a sort of plan in case things went bad. I'm smarter than that, Eden." he finished his statement, and looked at her with a hint of pleading in his eyes.
"Please...?" he said afterward, with the most gentle, smooth voice he could muster as a Vampire.
