Ayira quickly yanked her arm away from him. She was strong for a women "I was given away for the good of my tribe. And I am wearing clothing. You sir look like you are offended of what the gods gave you. seja orgulhoso do que você foi dado.as coisas más acontecem aos povos maus. Você é mau.*"

Seto was becoming seriously irritated. "We don't need you. We have nothing to fear from your tribe, and it would just be more trouble than it's worth to accept you." Unfortunately, Seto knew that the pharaoh would never see it his way. He sighed as he led the way to the throne room, pushing open the door for this woman. "Here you are."

"Oh, hush." Seto grumbled; he was exhausted, and didn't want to put up with this woman any more. He followed her into the throne room, stopping before the pharaoh, where he was seated on his throne. He knelt before Atem, showing proper respect for the pharaoh, before getting up and standing behind the throne. Atem straightened up when Seto--finally-- entered the throne room with the princess. Atem had been re-reading the letter, but he couldn't help but keep thinking about Nanu. Would she be okay alone? What if Bakura was still lurking around the palace? He should have appointed a bodyguard right away. "Ah, Princess..." Atem looked back at the letter, frowning slightly. "Ayira. I must apologize for my priest's behavior. Normally guests and visitors to the the palace are not treated so badly." Atem shot a dark look over his shoulder at Seto, who looked rather unremorseful.

"Here we are." In the introducing of a new character, the writer had somehow forgotten her other characters. She was just going to say that Mariku, Bakura, and Rei had gotten on the horses and had been riding while Ayira and Seto had been meeting and such. Mariku had stopped his horse at the Valley of the Queens, looking proudly over the landscape. Bakura was less than impressed. He had been here dozens of times, when he needed quick money. The queens were generally less guarded than the pharaohs. "Yeah. So? Are you going to show us the entrance?" He was on guard, in case this was somehow a trick. In case Mariku had brought them out to a far away, desolate area just to have them be ambushed. Mariku rolled his eyes and rode forward, without another word. Bakura grudgingly followed.

Rei who had been riding with bakura had fallen asleep. when they stop she awoke and looked around quietly.

Atem nodded, looking at the letter again. "Well, if you're going to be staying here, you won't have to worry about that kind of treatment. I suppose you'll be staying in the palace-- we can have a room ready for you shortly." The pharaoh said, smiling wearily. Seto tapped his shoulder and bent near his ear, whispering something softly. Atem frowned at Seto's words. "What do you mean by that? There are plenty of rooms in the palace. There is no way you can't find at least..." Seto bent down again, whispering once more. Atem looked thoughtful. "Right... I had forgotten about that festival..."
The thing was, a major festival for the gods was being held soon. Many important holy men from various temples were coming, and they would be staying in the palace. No rooms would be available. Atem thought this over, looking perplexed. "Well, we can't send her back. And we can't keep her in the dungeons again. What do you suggest we do?" Seto was stumped, and shrugged, looking away from the pharaoh. Bakura watched silently as Mariku continued to ride down, deeper into the valley. "Stay on guard. Who knows who these freaks are..." He muttered to Rei as he followed the blonde, who dismounted at a seemingly random spot. Mariku entered a tunnel, almost invisible to see. Bakura hesitantly followed suit, holding out a hand to help Rei down.

Ayira was quiet as they talked. She would wait to see the outcome. She quietly fiddled with one of her golden necklaces her hipsswaying slightly as she thought of music.
Rei nodded to bakura. She got down from the horse with his help. The children were in there fabric carrier resting in the front of her.

"Well, I'm sure neither of you would mind if Ayira shared your room, Seto." Atem finally declared, after thinking it over. He seemed quite proud of himself to come up with a peaceful enough solution. However, he wasn't expecting Seto's reaction. "What?!" Seto jolted as though he had been burned, and gaped at hte pharaoh. "Majesty, certainly you can't mean that you expect for me to put up with that bratty little-- I mean, um, wouldn't it be better if she stayed with the priestess?"

Ayira let out a innocent smile. Oh the gods were looking out for her today. "Oh I would be perfectly fine with that. I wont be too much trouble." she said innocently.

Bakura followed after Mariku, keeping a hold of Rei's hand. Mariku glanced over his shoulder to make sure the two were still following, and then vanished. Bakura stood still for a few moments, making sure he saw what he thought he saw, and then seemed to realize that the blonde was no longer standing there. "What the f--?!" He began to ask, when it suddenly felt as though he was being pushed from behind into a pit. He wasn't sure if that was what really happened, since it was so fast, but the next thing he knew he was on the ground. Mariku was standing above him, grinning widely, holding out a hand. "Whoops. Should have warned you about that drop." Mariku said cheerfully, taking a hold of Bakura's arm and hauling him to his feet. He then went over to Rei, helping her up as well. "Just remember that you guys are my servants. I can probably walk with the elders and be accepted again, but strangers won't be. Not unless you're working for one of us." Mariku turned to look at his clan. It was as he said it would be; an underground town. Crudely carved houses were seemingly build into the walls, with paths between them. The ground beneath their feet was rock, and rock seemed to be just about everywhere. There were various little holes in the ceiling, letting light stream in, but otherwise it was very dim. Torches had been lit on just about every street corner, which only seemed to add to the dimness. It was a dark and gloomy place. Very few people could be seen; no voices could be heard.

While Seto babbled protests, Atem clapped his hands together, beaming. "Great! Seto, show her to your room. I have to go check on Nanu." Atem stood up and moved to leave, but Seto blocked his path. he towered slightly above the pharaoh, looking rather intimidating. "My pharaoh... I must insist--" Seto pronounced this word carefully, placing a hand on Atem's shoulder as he did so. "--that you reconsider. Send her to the nearby harem to stay, have her share a room with Isis, I don't care. If you make me stay in the same room as this whore, I will end up killing her." Atem glared angrily, his eyes burning with rage. He looked just as furious as he had when Seto had punched him. "I hope you will remember, priest, that I am pharaoh. What I say must be obeyed. Now stop insulting my guests and do as I said." He growled, his voice dropping into a more threatening tone. "I think you've tried to kill enough people lately, Seto. Consider yourself lucky that I did not have you killed for what you did earlier. Now get out of my sight." Atem shoved Seto to the side, stalking out of the room. Seto stood where he was until the pharaoh had left, his hands clenching into fists.

Ayria watched as he leaves "hmm..he dosent like you now does he?" she asked.
Nanu at the moment was sitting on the floor on the side of the door laughing and holding her forhead "I think I missed..." she said to a severt who was in therewith her trying not to giggle. "Just a little" the young servent said.

"Come on, then." Mariku seemed to know his way around, and he grabbed onto Bakura's wrist, tugging him along. Bakura took a hold of Rei's hand, feeling on edge still. He didn't like this place too much. Mariku stopped in front of a doorway, one that was pretty much identical to all of the others around it. He entered, peering around the inside, before motioning for Bakura and Rei to enter as well. It was a dark, empty room, with three more doorways on each wall. "Those two lead to bedrooms. That leads to another empty room like this." Mariku said, pointing out the different doorways. "They cleared out my stuff, those bastards, but it shouldn't be hard to get it back again. Now, you two stay here. I'll be back in just a little bit." And with that, Mariku was gone. Bakura sighed heavily, rubbing his forehead. "This is getting to be a bit too much for me." He muttered, sitting down on the rock floor.
