"Well for two reasons. One... I'm... not used to telling that story."
He could feel his body grow hot. He chuckled quietly.
"And secondly, I'm not exactly used to being in the presence of... of such a beautiful woman."

Astarte blushed and looked away, "Well thanks, JR told me enough of that." She smiled, staring at the window, "You're very handsome as well."

Jack gave her a somewhat surprised look. In all actuality, he wasn't used to hearing that as well. He smiled as he crossed his arms and turned his head to the side.

Astarte looked at him and giggled. "Don't tell me you're shy." She unfolded his arms and wrapped them around her waste. She lightly touched his face with her ice cold hands and turned his head toward her.

"No, I'm not shy. I've just had a bad track record," he said with a grin. "A lot of shallow people today."
He tightened his arms a tad around her waist, holding her closer to him. He really was captivated with Astarte. He was surprised that she actually found him handsome. His grin widened.
"Guess being a damphir isn't so bad, eh?"

Jack smiled at her words. It felt good knowing that he wasn't found as some freak. He leaned his head in and kissed her back on the lips as he tightened his arms around her. For the first time in a long time he didn't feel any tension.
You hear that? She likes you as a schizo!
Jack didn't care what JR said. He was content and couldn't about what he said at all.

Jack found his feet moving slightly as he gave Astarte a deep and prolonged kiss. Soon, he found himself lose his footing. He gasped out loud as he fell backwards onto the bed, bringing Astarte with him.
"Woah Jesus!"

Astarte laughed, "I'll bet it was Jesus who did that." She looked at their position on the bed. She smiled at Jack, "Now now, It's much to early for that."

Jack looked down and his eyes widened. He laughed nervously as he look Astarte in the face.
"Eh heh... sorry bout that. Wasn't paying attention!"
He laughed quietly as he leaned his head in and kissed Astarte on the lips.
"Still... gotta admit this is kinda comfortable," he said, half-joking.

Jack sat up and looked at Astarte. He smiled and nodded.
"Don't worry... I understand. I was kinda joking about that. I'd have to wait myself too."
He sighed quietly as he gave her an odd look.
"Maybe after a longer while."
