xxDomesticGoddessxx The guy hacked is actually my hubby and I can say without a doubt he is on no other sites to have been a part of this. But we actually think we know who did it and are handling it. Computer techies can get some wicked tracking programs and this loser is sooooo gonna pay. Especially if my hubby doesn't get those unopened envelopes back from the past 6 months. twisted eek *didn't realize it was hubby* How do you know who did it?

xxDomesticGoddessxx @Rob, yeah, I was so using you guys. Hope you don't mind too terribly. stare Nothing really going on here except tv and taking showers. Well that and the rain....it is absolutely pouring down here. Tornadoes, hail, wind, the whole package. 3nodding *steals a french fry* Nah, I don't mind being used by females. surprised Did you see Kon in the shower? ninja The rain was bad over here too. I didn't even bother washing my hair before work because I figured it was pointless to do everything to make it look nice only to have wind and rain attack it as soon as I opened the door. dramallama Ironically, I just came back from Taco Bell and the girl at the drive-thru window said I had pretty hair. Little did she know that I considered it messed up and uncombed and stuff. I think I could have gotten a date with her...but I didn't want one. Lol. Where are these French fries at? surprised ninja

Queen of the Blue Twins I'm tired guys. I'm gonna go. I just bought a carrot plushiefor 800 gold, because I could, yeah I'm bored. xd Had no idea the stupid thing was 6' tall (well in gaia house terms) xp and wouldn't be a good bed pillow for my house, but apparently it's a collectable so I guess I'll keep it for now. confused Like I said, I'm tired. 3nodding Good night all *waves* IIRC, that's a good price for that item. I think they're usually up to 1000 and above now. Also, there should be different poses for that item. It doesn't have to be 6' tall. You can make it go further into the ground to be shorter. I'm like almost 100% positive about that. Goodnight. biggrin

Especially if my hubby doesn't get those unopened envelopes back from the past 6 months. twisted Oh. Well that's good that he can figure out who did it. I honestly wonder how people are able to hack on Gaia because it seems like it happens far too much and that they would be able to make it harder for that to happen. Most "hackings" are actually stolen passwords, like this incident with the rest of the site, but I doubt he'd give his password to someone. You'd think it'd be harder to get into an account without the password, and it scares the crap out of me.I'm worried about those tracking programs that Queenie mentioned maybe possibly logging your keystrokes or something and then someone can get your password like that. The only time I ever had a password stolen was like around 1997 when I was on AOL. Some guy used some password stealing program that would somehow email him your password. You didn't know it happened unless you went in your sent folder and saw an email to him with your password in it. Sometimes, it was too late. emo

But I think you'd have to download it, so it would probably be hard for someone to get you to download something over Gaia. I suppose if they knew your email address and you downloaded it from there it could get you though. I used to have a program with a keylogger on it to steal my mom's AOL password when I was a kid. lol I was so bad. She couldn't figure out how I was doing it either. But it was something that only worked on the computer it was on, you couldn't make it work on someone else's computer. I wouldn't have done that to someone else anyway.

And yeah, I'm on later than usual because I'm watching the 4chan raid in the GCD. It's messy. But I think I'm gonna sleep now.

CrazyRob A pun (for lack of a better term) on the war in Iraq? surprised Not really~ Have you ever played armored core or some game where you can randomly destroy stuff in a tank? Its kinda like that and you get shot and blow up the m*^$#% f*%^&$ that shot you~ But yeah I see how it could relate to the war in iraq but it was done by a canadian :O

Well. Aside from the drama and a few other things, it was very fun. I actually randomly met someone who lives like a mile from me [which is no big at a tiny con in BFE, but at the biggest con in FL?* o.o] and a whole bunch of OA people want me to post there so I might be hitting up those meetups and whatnot.
*dun even mention Metro @_@
