Well, I'm dead. My mom was out of town this week, which was no big deal. Tom, invited a friend over, still no big deal. For a bed, Tom load his friend our mom's pillows. Finally comes the bad part. With the pillows on the ground, and 3 dogs in the house, one with a chewing problem. There was a pen on the ground.....you can see where this is going.
So the dog got on top of the pillows, chewed the pen and ink all over the pillows. So we have been trying to get the stain up as best as we can, using stain removers and anything we could look up on it. Let just hope things turn out okay.
Things wouldn't be so bad if my mom wasn't all into having 8 expensive pillows, to show here status.

Sweet God can I relate. You know in Ferris Buller how Cameron's house is described as being like a museum. It's very beautiful and very cold, and you're not allowed to touch anything? That essentially is what I grew up in. We have chairs that you do not sit on and waste baskets you don't put trash in. They are there to match the room, the real rubbish bin is hidden.
I wish you luck with your pillow issue.

Thanks. Not looking good already. Just trying to get the stains out of the white one is so bad I'm resorting to Bleach. And his damn big-a** swords isn't helping.
So I have to use the other bleach, the cleaner, how ever we still have two that are Red. DAMN RED PILLOW CASES!!! scream
Man, Finally get a girl friend and I have to die, this sucks.

So, it was my birthday yesterday. It'd be inaccurate to say I got a laptop, since I paid for a lot of it, but I did get a good chunk of financial assistance. Loving it. Runs so much smoother than my old computer. That is particularly apparent while transfering my files over - took me an hour to get a file onto my disc drive and 2 and a half minutes to get it off. smile
Had fun otherwise. A whole bunch of my friends are home from university for the weekend, seeing as it's Canadian Thanksgiving. Didn't get to do anything with them, since most of them had family commitments, but we might do something tonight. Had a whole bunch of relative over, though, which was all right, if only for the hockey pool. (Because what's a Canadian holiday without hockey?) That, and Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard Cake. Sooooo good.

I hate the pro wrestling subforum. I only signed up to mod it back in 2007 because no one else would. And I'm still the only one who mods it. And it's just chock full of the stupid idiots I left e-fedding to get away from.
And NONE of them report!
I went in there yesterday to start a tektek type thread since I've had to move out a bunch of threads of people 'introducing' their new pro wrestler avatar. Turned out that someone already made one, so I posted in there that I would direct people there from now on.
This was the regs' cue to jump all over me. mad <******** them. As soon as I can recruit more mods to that forum, I'm out of there.

My first convention was a delightful success. I wish I had a frame of reference to understand how well I did monetarily. I heard it was a bad year in general for the convention, not too many spending money, but I made over my investment several times. And apparently doing it by selling something that's generally hard to move! I didn't do any shopping unfortunately, though there was a mild art trade I feel I was suckered into. Nothing I can't live without but still annoying.
So now it's snowing outside and I think a hot chocolate will be in order tonight, as I put my apartment in order from the neglect it's suffered at the hands of the convention, and find a place to put my stock. I have stock! And a commission to work on! That I apparently didn't charge enough for but I'm still learning.

Happy belated Birthday Nick! And congratulations Selina on a successful convention!
In other news, if you are a MAC user upgrading to OS X 10.6; be careful and back up your files.

So apparently, my Spider account has been compromised. Someone got into it, changed the name and looted it. I have no idea how the ******** that could have happened, but if the account is still in the guild please do ban it. ******** hell.

ack!
I'm sorry to hear that, Tony. If it happened within the last 30 days, be sure to file a hacking report. Also, if any of your accounts shares a password with the compromised, change them ASAP.
**edit**
