Nyl looked out from her place in the dying light and faced Hwen, though she didn't know at all that she was looking at anything. She could sense the presences of the Phoenix, and Aurum, and Hwen and the Guardian...and Sephiroth and the Protector, far away. ...These were the people that, not long ago, she had endangered with something else foolish.
No. You would all be better off if I just died here in the darkness.
The light begins to fade again.

((Neko, you're surprised? Ryuu never eats. Honestly, I think she gets by like the plants do--turning sunlight and CO2 into food. Does she have any green spots where she could photosynthesize? *grinning*))

Nyl would have sighed, if she'd been able to. She would have done several things...but they all required physical control.
Hwen...I don't know how to get out. I've been searching for days, ever since Aurum found out that something was wrong in the dojo...but I don't know how.

I've been searching for days, ever since Aurum found out that something was wrong in the dojo...but I don't know how.Hwen had a momentary flash of panic. She actually wasn't 100% sure how they were going to do this. She was banking on Seph helping to yank her back. Guess he would have to pull them both back. "Nyl....follow my voice...I'm reaching out for you.... Seph and I will pull you out of here...if you can't seem to find a door, maybe we'll just need to make one..."

She knew that to leave the light without something to anchor her would lose her in the darkness. As soon as she saw Nyl's hand, she grabbed it. She would have to be Nyl's 'anchor', and trust that Seph would be able to grab them both. " It's okay Nyl....we're going to make it....I trust Seph, just like you trust me...Hwen held on to Nyl for dear life, and slowly started to edge towards Seph's energy.

hwen As soon as she saw Nyl's hand, she grabbed it. She would have to be Nyl's 'anchor', and trust that Seph would be able to grab them both. " It's okay Nyl....we're going to make it....I trust Seph, just like you trust me...Hwen held on to Nyl for dear life, and slowly started to edge towards Seph's energy. He felt something.. He began to extend his own energy. His own lifeforce. Towards Hwen. This made his very vunerable to attack, but it would help Hwen out.
