Just after Akira and Evermore walked onto the school grounds, familiars in tow, the barrier was completed. Arielle nigh on collapsed against the surface of her desk, breathing harshly. She hadn't done magic like that in such a long time--not since she had become Headmistress, certainly. Nothing good was happening, and it scared her.

But now, without her permission... No living person could enter or leave the school premises. It was ancient magic, something she doubted that she was supposed to know of, and something that would cost her energy each time someone attempted to get through... but it was better than nothing. She would rather have herself at risk should anything happen than her students.

She just hoped that nothing would happen now. She would announce the change tomorrow morning... When she was refreshed again. For the moment, she would go see Meimei. The kind nurse would have some potion or another to help her replenish her energy temporarily. It wouldn't be as nice as a week-long sleep, but she simply could not afford to be in the dark with her school any longer.

She didn't even know how long it had been since she initially locked herself away.

It was with this weary, exhausted mentality that Arielle entered the clinic. For a moment, she didn't even notice the odd collection of people.

When she did, she immediately attempted to reassert her normal, far more proper way of standing. Her rumpled robes made it difficult, though, and the circles under her eyes revealed the sleeplessness and worry that had consumed her so thoroughly for the past few days.

But all that mattered now was that there was a man--that Musica, no less!--and some boy in her hospital wing, and it was nearing curfew. But the boy and Musica could not leave, and she already knew this. Aurora was clinging to the boy. There were two girls she did not recognize in the mix as well. Trying to maintain her in-control image, she demanded, "What happened here?"

((True... and Athena's kinda stuck over at Tower for now. Arielle's not about to get ADD, and even Ares wouldn't be able to penetrate the barrier that's been put up. Just because he's a god doesn't mean he can get through. Arielle blocked anyone and everyone.))

All of this, and she hadn't even heard anything yet... she began to feel very weary, and easily sank down into a chair. She was fearful of what she would hear, and unsure if she could really handle it at the moment... but she needed to know. This concerned her school, ihre Töchters!* She couldn't let this wait--not even five minutes.

With wary eyes, she watched Musica. She didn't think he would lie, no matter how much she disliked him, as he simply struck her as the sort to lean more to the painfully honest way--a more German way. That she could understand. "Please... tell me." She hated how pathetic she sounded. She was the Headmistress, for goodness sakes! She wasn't supposed to feel so vulnerable.

But the threat of Setsuka's return still weighed heavily on her mind, and she felt completely unprepared.

Aurora buried her face against Bo, taking comfort in the words even though she knew that he couldn't possibly know that. She didn't even know if he knew what was happening. But he was trying, and it made her feel so much better. She was able to forget that the Headmistress was in the room. She just concentrated on Bo. Bo was there, and she could feel him. He was such a nice boy. He didn't even know what was wrong and he was trying to help her.

She made a vow to explain later. Later, when she wasn't so overwhelmed by being so near to death. Later, when she wasn't so shaken up. Later, when it made sense again.

Musica sat down as well, not too far away from the Headmistress. He was clinging to the tissue covered in blood splotches. He felt light headed, but this needed to be said anyway. "Two nights ago, whether or not you knew, the Love Goddess Aphrodite and Ari Franz seperated from me my evil half, my yang. Just last night, he reappeared after mulitple times and possessed my son. Ari and myself were down by the lake, checking out a disturbance we felt which is where Nikolaus as he is called, we used to be called, possessed my son. While trying to protect Ari he knocked me clean out cold, and captured her. Then-" At this Musica took a deep breath, coughing once more into the tissue. There was less blood this time, so perhaps he was finally healing. "Ari made a deal with him, an unbreakable one. In exchange for her life he could not harm me in anyway. I promise you, if I'd been able to I would have stopped it, but it was too late. By the time I got up it was morning and she was already gone. I returned to the school and told some of her friends, who attempted to go out and find her. It was too late, Nikolaus had sacrificed her to Asgard in exchange for something we'd tried to achieve long ago. Indestructible, invincible armor that grants the wearer the perfect offense and defense. Now, he's bringing his armor to this school to begin his rampage of revenge. Beginning with Aphrodite, then the rest of Olympus." He then stopped, his eyes appearing more weary than before. The full impact of all that had happened was sinking in with him. Especially the loss of his son, for now he hoped. "And he still has my son."
