Sabre slunk to the floor as Andie left, putting his face in his hands. "Andie..." He looked at his hand's from where he tore the wires out, they had stopped bleeding nearly instantly afterwards, and the scars had already healed over.

His nose twitched picking up a familiar smell, before looking up at the large glowing butterfly fluttering behind him, and smiled softly, nodding.

Whichever way Andie chose to walk, at the middle of his journey, a strange shaggy creature jumped crawled out from a nearby bush. It seemed to have the anatomy of a cat, and walked rather gracefully, dispite it's rather rough thick brown fur, which was more like wirery hair. It had rather large ears also which hung down from the sides of it's face. It had golden eyes, and rahter sharp claws and teeth.

Nevertheless, this strange looking creature trotted over to Andie as he walked along, rubbing against his leg and trying to get his attention.

Andie continued his walk, trying to be strong enough to hold back tears, to tell himself he didn't need or want to cry... but that was a lie to himself. Sighing, he stopped and lightly hugged himself, hands resting lightly on his waist as he tried to figure out what to do with his mind for once. He could turn around and go back... but after all those harsh things he had just said, would... would Sabre even take him back? To Andie, what he said was pretty near unforgivable...

But... but what would he do if he just went back to the abandoned asylum? James thought he was living here when he had come to visit with the child he cares for, so... so his brother must have assumed that he had moved here, and surely would no longer visit the abandoned asylum. Nobody would go there anymore, nobody thought he lived there anymore. So... what would be there for him, what would be waiting for him?

Thoughts drifted in and out of his mind until something rubbing against his leg grabbed his attention. Looking down, he couldn't help but smile tenderly, despite the current problem at hand. Kneeling down, he went to go pet the creature, but noticing that the fur looked more wirey, wondered if it would cut him. "Hello, little thing... are you all alone, now, too?"

The creatures fur wouldn't be able to cut one, but it it just wasn't soft and silky like most other felines. It was more like a stray dog's. It mad a rowling sound up at Andie, before standing up on its hind legs to push it's head into his hand so he'd make the fox stroke him himself.
It turned to look up at the clear night sky, the full moon shining down brightly on them. It looked more like the creature was checking on it, for some reason.

Smiling lightly, the fox ran his hand gently along the creature's head, and down his back. Giving a little sigh, he turned his golden-eyed gaze up towards the full moon. For a few moments, he gazed at the moon before turning his attention back to the creature. "You remind me of him-- Sabre," Andie said lightly, closing his eyes for a moment as he continued to pet the odd creature. "I just... walked out, and... now... my heart aches because I'm not near him..." The fox sighed lightly, noticing that he had an unusual habit to talk to creatures, instead of others like himself. "Were hearts made whole just to be broken...?" The pale fox pondered it, closing his eyes.

The creature looked back to the fox, giving a questioning mew before placing a clawed paw on the other's leg, as if to aid in comforting the fox. It looked back up at him with it's own brightly golden eyes, dialated from the darkness, almost giving it a look of innocence, dispite it's feral appearance.

It nuzzled his leg gently, before laying his head down on the other's lap, it's ears still alert to hear the other's worries, if it seemed to help.

Andie continued to lightly run his hand along the creatures head, turning his attention towards him at the questioning mew. Smiling lightly, and hunched over to wrap his arms lightly around the creature as it layed it's head in his lap. Nuzzling the top of it's head, he sighed lightly. "... Should I go back to him?" He asked lightly, "My head says listen to my heart, and my heart says listen to my head and... I can't figure it out on my own. It's not something that can be solved with an equation..."

The creature mewed again, getting off his lap and strode over to a crossroads, sitting by the sign post. There was two roads, well, three to be exact, but only two would applie to Andie. One lead to the far end of town, towards Andie's old asylum, and the other to Acornbourne, where Sabre was.

He got up and started to walk around, before seeming to speak... though was it him actually speaking? Or was it just Andie's imagination? It was hard to say, as the creature's mouth was too far away to see if it moved. It had a strange eerie cat-like tone to it.. though.. it sounded almost familiar, like 3 voices in sync... but who's?

"You're head tells you what is logical, and what is the best way, yet your heart tells you which way to hapiness, even if it is a long and painfull route... You're old home is empty now, there is nothing there for you but a cold lonely cell seldom few deserve. You may feel that you should go there, for his happiness and safty, but are you aware of his paths?" He sat in the middle, greatfull that there was no traffic.

The voice changed, changing to a lighter, more childish tone. It was Jacob's voice now.

"There is a place, on the hill, where we all go one day... we have the illusion of freedom out here, but, me... my brothers... all the Macdowens... we'll all go there... My brothers and I must go.. it's the family curse." The voice echoed around the street. Before Sabre's own voice started up.

"My only hope is that maybe.. someone can help me, someone can bring my logic back. Untill then my time is limited to another's sanity. In a way, my friend is slowly becoming saner, but, with that, my time here draws to an end. I guess I took too long looking out for him, to find someone who could actually help me..."

"I do not belong here. I should be with my loved ones up in the heavens. They will wait an eternity for me, but yet I still long to see them. But somehow I feel attached to this male, this poor boy who we met through some creul twist of fate. It feels like it is my fault he is how he is now.. and I want to fix that.. help him to become normal again. Maybe when he is well I can finally move on. But with my sins recently commited.. will I be able to gain access to be within those gates?"

The last voice was Chisulo's, his last words seemed to echo around the street's also.

"They don't wish to cling to you, drag you back to them against your will. But they have something that you may want. Something that you likely will never have back in your asylum... the feeling that you're needed. The feeling that you're treasured and cared about. It might hurt you, and it might be cary and dangerous, walking down a path with no lights on in the night. But at the end is a clearing filled with beautifull flowers, and a home where you're welcomed and loved."
The creature ran off the road as a sports car hurtled past, before walking up the middle road. It looked back at Andie.
"But... if it's Sabre you love, you're going to have to take a short cut, or you'll miss him." it said, in a way that implied that the short cut would be to follow him.

Andie stood when the creature moved to a sign by the crossroads. Normally, he would have been shocked that the creature was speaking, and in the combined voices of the three he held dear to him, but.. nothing about the events that had taken place since he met Sabre were normal.

Normality was balanced by logic... and logic was all he knew. He looked to the road the led to his aslyum, listening to the three voices combined, staring down that road emptily. Gold eyes slowly drew back to the creature at the mention of the paths that he was very unaware of.

A place on the hill, a family curse..? Brows pressed together lightly in confusion, but he said nothing, stayed motionless, not daring to interrupt the creature. A finger twitched, and his eyebrows furrowed in concern when Sabre's voice came from the creature.

Another's sanity...? A friend slowly gaining sanity...? The pale fox wasn't even sure who the creature-- Sabre?-- was speaking of. Standing motionless still, listening. His lower lip twitched lightly, in something akin to a quiver, as he tried to hold his emtions in place, to keep them in line.

Slowly, his golden eyes drifted to look towards the ground, before lifting back towards the road to his asylum. Fox tail giving a flick, he took a few steps towards that road, until he was directly beside the creature, eyes still staring down the empty road that led to his empty asylum.

"If going back to the asylum means living a normal life..." Andie started quietly, taking a few more steps towards the road. Normal... he had been striving to be normal his entire life, his entire life he had longed to be normal, and here... this was his opportunity. "... Then that also means living the rest of my life with a torn heart that can never be repaired."

The fox turned to the creature, ears twitching lightly. "The fear that I may feel walking through a scary path, the pain that I may endure... all of it, is worth even just one more minute of being with Sabre. Normality... is a mere status in life. I would much rather be outcasted, as long as I get my chance to help him. I... want to take the short cut, because out of all the people I've met, out of all the people who have loved and cared for me... Sabre is the only one I want to be with."

"Then Quickly! He may already be there, I fear I have taken too long in my explinations. When you left, He didn't think you would return, so has already gone to the place on the hill, the McDowen institute. Follow the road, you will find him, if it is not too late." The feline stated, before dissapearing into the brush, and then altogether.

With a small sigh, Andie's eyes narrowed to golden slits for a moment as he began walking down the road. Soon enough the fox was running rather swiftly, leaping over anything that got into his way. No time to waste, right? Right. He had to find Sabre, help him... he had to do whatever it would take.

At the end of the road was a large fence, and within that a rather big modernish mansion. It was rather colourfull too. Sort've like some odd nursury for a LOT of children. There appeared to be quite a few rabbits around, some young, some old, though they all seemed to be struggling to do what they're aparantly doing. Some seemed to get distracted a lot, others gre tantrums quickly when they dropped a ball or something like that. Other's just suddenly stopped what they're doing, going quiet and go into a deep thought.

On one of the benches around, was Sabre, sitting on a bench and looking rather depressed, next to him was another rabbit who if you ignored the fur and hair colours, looked quite a bit like Sabre himself, only younger, and naturally had no fangs. He was tying a ribbon to the other's ear, trying to talk to him to cheer him up.

Andie came upon the fence, golden eyes slowly relaxing, though glowing and rather intense. Glancing from one rabbit to another, he reached up and ran a hand through his silver-streaked black hair. Finally, after a few moments, his eyes focused on Sabre and the other rabbit, and he put his hands lightly on the fence, wondering just what in the hell he was supposed to do.

Walking along the fence a small ways, Andie finally just hopped over it and began walking towards Sabre and the other rabbit. Though his eyes were focused on only Sabre, and he had only glanced to the rabbit with the bow once.

The other rabbit had long pink hair, and was also adorned wih many more ribbons. He also had a rainbow of them up his arms and ears. He spotted Andie first, and looked up at him, a little uncertain.
"Um.. Nii-san..?" he started, tugging on Sabre's ear to alert him.

Sabre looked to the other, before following his gaze oer the back of the bench, looking at Andie. "Andie... how did you.. find this place?" He asked, before looking away again, still somewhat deepressed. It wasn't that he wasn't glad to see Andie, it was more that he was ashamed to be seen here.

Andie's intense gold eyes flicked towards the ribbon-wearing rabbit for a short moment before slowly drifting back towards Sabre. There was a solemn expression on his face, and he stood a short distance away from them, for once not minding as his hair blew lightly into his face.

"That doesn't matter," He replied quickly, but softly. "I came to help you, because I love you. Even if you can't love me back." The fox glanced towards the sky and removed his glasses, slipping them onto the front of his still torn shirt. At this point, he didn't care about hiding the wounds, about hiding information anymore.

Sabre looked up at him, a little confused. "Really..?" he asked, wanting confirmation. "I.. Didn't think you'd come back... There was little point in me staying back there if you wasn't going to come back.. now that Shane has gone." He said with a small sigh, looking at the floor again. He glanced sideways at the other rabbit, who still looked clueless.

"Oh um.. Ribbo, this is Andie.. He's the fox I was telling you about. Andie, this is Ribbo, my brother."

Ribbo gave a weak smile and a wave, a little intimidated by the other's seriousness.
