My views on roleplaying with Harry Potter Avatars has definitely changed - I am no longer interested in a “this is me doing stuff, and you watching” system. Instead, I believe the “plot” should be what characters do instead of what I plan, and my characters are only important to those who pay attention to them, unless something large happens. There is some Death Eater / D3ath 3ater stuff going on, but it’s no more the “main” plot than any other characters’ storylines.
I have a couple of reasons for this. One was brought up by you indirectly, Cassy - not everyone is interested in the same kind of plot. For some, Death Eaters are overdone or too much to handle, while for others, not having Death Eaters around would ruin the fact that it’s a Harry Potter guild. I don’t want to force a storyline on anyone who isn’t interested in it - the stuff Kat and I have going will probably remain in the background unless there is a rising interest with it from other characters and roleplayers.
It’s not so much a roleplay now as it is a community. Characters going about their lives and making their own storylines as they go along, based on the “now” instead of the planned.
Now in reference to voting - basically, the winner is the winner. Talking about Death Eaters versus Order sympathizers is just an easy way to explain that characters will have a great affect on their environment based on who they vote in. You vote in a werewolf-hater, werewolves are going to be in for some serious suck.
Today is another one of those bad days, so I probably won’t post again unless it’s putting things up in the Ministry of Magic or roleplaying with myself to let some things out.

HI GUYS, I'm at school (I'VE ESCAPED!) to work on the art magazine for a while. --- I think storylines can be integrated, though. Sometimes in the CAA Aiden and I would ask people not to post so we could do a storyline thing, but only with really key parts to a looser plot that extended over weeks. The looser plot didn't rely on certain character interaction so it could be changed with other input from other RPers. I DUNNO IF I'M ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTING TO THIS DISCUSSION IN A WORTHWHILE MANNER. --- I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THIS ADORABLE TIDBIT WITH YOU GUYS THAT DARRELL WROTE ON MY ABOUT ME ON FACEBOOK. See, the other day, I messed around with his account so he messed around with mine, and we both left each other stuff on each other's About Me. x] About Me So, Darrell here to donate a piece to this section. ... (Is this thing on? Okay) So, I guess what I've got to say is that Janine has one of the best senses of humor I know. Then again, that's coming from someone who has decided to be twelve years old for the rest of their lives, so make of it what you will. Either way, she's pretty smart too. Like Honor Roll kinda stuff. That's not exactly small potatoes. This makes her like 60 % of The Gang's brain trust; which helps the rest of us to not accidently do stupid things and hurt ourselves. I'm taking up too much space, so I'll sign off now. Before I do though, I have to add the fact that she's freakin' adorable too. Too cute. In other words, concentrated amazingness is her. Period. Back to working on MoM stuff. Already got most of the structure done for Hogwarts' sticky improvements, so I should be pushing those changes in tomorrow, MAYBE tonight. Tonight would be nice. heart
I want more feedback on what should be included in political party information, so I'm letting that go for now until I know I've covered enough bases with each party's post.

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY. HE IS REALLY CUTE.
The other day I was suuuuper tired on the bus because the night before my two sisters, some other chick, and some guy were talking downstairs until 2 am and I didn't sleep at all, so I was like, sitting in my bus seat with my head down and leaned against the one in front of me, trying to sleep. When he got on the bus, he sat down in a seat near me, and then looked over at me and sat next to me, saying "Something wrong sweetie?" cause he thought I was depressed looking. XD It was sweet of him but really I was tired. So then I used him as a pillow. :D
Cassy . . . you may think it's adorable that I have to run from her . . . but you don't know of the horror. eek
Our internet's been down here, but it just got back up today so I'll actually be able to post again!
And gosh guys . . . all I ever talk about is Darrell. sweatdrop Sorry. Man, since it's such an often topic, I should make my own Darrell thread. XD
