Wolf nodded as the other guitarist played another song. As his song started to warm up, Wolf started playing B.Y.O.B. by System of a Down. He was responding to the challenge, and he could continue on. Wolf smiled. He knew songs that were harder, but he wasn't starting with his best. Not yet.

"Alright then!" Zero shouts into the night, a playful look on his otherwise expressionless face. He stands up, slings the guitar strap over his neck, and starts playing the solo from the song Sweet child of mine. He played the rapid notes well, never missing a single one.

Wolf laughed, and jumped down from the tree, pocket amp in his, well, pocket. He started playing the solo from No More Tears by Ozzy Osbourne. It started a little slow, but as the notes sped up, Wolf's hands become more of a blur. Then as the final note played, he looked up into the night, the guitar looking straight up with him. The katana attached gleamed in the moonlight. Wolf looked back at the other guitarist, his youthful looks slightly hidden by his leather jacket that was a little too big for him.

Zero regarded the other guitarist for a second.
He's so young... he thinks. I might loose to a little kid!
He chuckles to himself at the idea, then decides to play a song more to his style. He takes a second to retune his guitar, then with a quick strum, he continues his chalange. The way of the fist blasts out of the amp behind him, the quick heavy metal tone echoing around the moonlit park.

Wolf actually thought a little. Well, he's definitly older then me, and probably a vampire. Ain't that nice? He shrugged it off and, after a brief retuning, started playing the solo from Mr.Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne. The young homeless boy's long dark brown hair fell down on his face as the solo...ended. He realized how short the solo was, so he played the ending solo of Mr. Crowley. Wolf held the guitar high up as his fingers continued to play. When Wolf had spare time, he'd play his guitar, and you have alot of spare time when you have no home except for a rusty metal trailer, with no family except your own thoughts. ((EDIT: Well, I have to go. And I have had deja vu while RPing with you...You play a different game, such as pardus? Yeah, i have to go. Bye.))

It wasn't that Aiden found their music to be trashy or absolutely vile, it was that his acute senses were being drowned in nothing but their guitars ringing throughout his sensitive ears. As an artist himself it was difficult for him not to admire any form of music for he'd been a musician before drafted into his country's silly war from long ago. However, the pounding throughout his head filled him with the slightest bit of ire and he fluently rose from the bench and offered his hand to Cosette with impeccable manners and a graceful bow of his head. He adverted his golden eyes as he adressed her, allowing his seraphic white hair to cascade to either side of his shoulder as he spoke to her. He was being a gentleman, anticipating the needs of a lady though he had nothing to prove to her he thought he might as well show her not only she was capable of manners and thoughts. His expanded beyond himself but it depended on whether he chose to do anything with or about such thoughts.
"There are certain requirements that are to be met before a show is more than just a display of talent. A duo of talented fools makes for an interesting show to some but something tells me your tastes lie elsewhere, dear Cosette. I trust your keen and delicate senses aren't handling this display all too well. It is rather noisy and it makes thoughts more cloudy when you find yourself with a ringing in your ear. Shall we be off elsewhere? I wouldn't want to offend you in such a way as to suggest that you are weak but my senses are being assailed by this display of musicianship."
His discreet hand remained extended though in no way did it intrude upon her space and it was not a demanding reach, it posed a question and a choice that only she could make. He was clearly leaving it up to her as to whether or not she chose to take hold of his hand and the answers were really yes or no. Aiden figured the girl would take hold of his hand since she was clearly seeking to use him to transport her somewhere since she was evidently struggling with making it along herself. Being used wasn't exactly a bad thing, it gave him connections and though he wasn't really one to badger at having favours returned he could always blackmail her when her ego returned about how she'd been forced to rely on a supposedly uncouth piece of trash such as himself.
The angel's golden eyes met her with a dashing display of gleaming fangs as he awaited her response. He was in no hurry and he was certain she wasn't enjoying this music anymore than he was, probably even less so because something told him she wasn't a metal head and she didn't seem to like noise very much. Perhaps she was just more irritable tonight but something told him noise wasn't becoming of her. She seemed to prefer quiet, serenity. Naturally he gathered she had some form of, more likely than not, obsessive compulsive disorder seeing as she seemed to like things her way and the way she was dressed spoke she worked hard at her appearance to make it flawless. However, it was just a hunch from a killer that happened to be extremely neat himself.

I like this kid... he's got style... Zero thinks to himself. He looks down at his guitar. Kinda reminds me of a much younger me, Back before the war... I got one more test for you, kid. Prove to me your worth it. Zero plays his last song, Master Van Halen's Eruption, adding his own custum licks to serve as his signiture. The song is so rapid, so intense, so incredibly loud, that the amp behind him blows out on the last note. Zero stands there, waiting for the boy before him to respond.
((No, I don't. Must be cosmic forces at work or something ^_^))

Leelan looked up at Prometheus and smile. She squeezed his hand. "Yes I feel the same. I would love to rid of my vampirism to be with you." Leelan put her hand on the side of his face. "But I warn you, I won't be cold to the touch anymore." She giggled a bit.

Prometheus smiles, his eyes sparkling with happiness. He was so wound together, so focused on this moment of love, he was completely oblivious to the guitar duel. He bent down and gave her a gentle kiss on the lips, knowing that she loved him in return.
~~Now we just need him to get on...~~

((Sorry, Having issues writing.))
Did this guy sounds absolutely patronizing or what? Aiden was completely over playing the game, planting all sorts of flattery along the way. Cosette was trying to figure out just who the vampire was trying to impress with all his smooth talk considering she was the one that ought to be piling the sugar to every sentence in hopes to doing exactly what she wanted. She didn't quite understand, but she sure wasn't going to complain. He could boost her fractured ego all night long if he wanted, she sure as hell wasn't going to complain. It managed to put a smile on those full lips, if only because it was amusing to listen to all the ways he could compliment her and her regal status. He was making it easy, since she clearly wasn't in the mood to play her adorable act or lay on the charm to earn her way. Let Aiden do all the work, that would suit her just fine. She was about to say something to him and inquire further about the void when her attention wavered from the vampire. Her hands in one swift unseen movement clapped over her ears a full second before the first cord was struck. The horrendous noise didn't have to travel far, the two very poorly strumming away on their guitars were way too close for comfort. It wasn't the unexpected noise that bothered her most, but the quality of it. Music had been Cosette's undoing in life, an obsession for playing the violin is exactly what placed the spoiled runaway into the hands of deadly vampire. Her name might very well have popped up in history if her near prodigy talent hadn't been snuffed out along with her life. She may have attempted to keep up with the ever changing music, but through out the decades, It only seemed to grow worse. Loud and pounding seemed to be the fad of this decade and Cosette would have no part in it. This nighttime serenade played out by a couple of dogs seemed to be perfect evidence of just how low music had fallen since her time.
It was so easy that Cosette could be distracted, nearly missing the offered hand because she was entirely focused upon the musical pair. She wanted them to stop. Cease that horrible noise by any means possible. There was the slightest little tremor of her slender fingers, evidence of an urgent need to crush something between her greedy little hands. Not only would she absolutely love to smash those instruments to smithereens, but to deliver the same punishment to their bodies. Squeeze until the bones would give way with sickening pops. At that very moment, Nothing would have thrilled her more. It was as she was rising to her feet with full intentions to do something about the noise that she looked down to see Aiden's offered hand, wondering how long he had been standing there ready to go. Just like that, Cosette's mind swapped out and cooled to a slightly more civil demeanor. For the first time that evening, she flashed one of her dazzling little smiles; white teeth and fang, but cute as a button. She accepted Aiden's hand, assuming he would find somewhere with much less noise. Right now, just about anywhere but here would be just prefect.

Wolf paused. For a second it seemed he might just put down the guitar and walk away, defeated, but then Wolf retuned his guitar again and played a single note. The note that started Devil Went Down to Georgia by Steve Ouimette, from the popular game Guitar Hero III. Normally it would be played on the fiddle, but Wolf managed to play it on the guitar. He played all the hard parts, and cut to the solos quick. Dirt actually fell off of his jacket and hands, considering they were moving so fast. Wolf continued to play the parts, faster and louder as it progressed. Then he stopped, then played again. The massive solo that came out of the amp finished his reply. The young lycan's eyes looked at the older guitarist's.

((I'm sorry goblin, I know it's RP, but are you insulting master Van Halen? Not cool... ^_^))
Zero regarded the boy for another second. He didn't even think he could regard him as "boy" anymore. He was young, yes, but he had will, Zero could see the fire burning inside of him.
With a slow, purposefull motion, he took the guitar off his neck, and dropped it with a thump, right there in the dirt. His foggy eyes locked onto his rivals for a moment, then he threw his head back and laughed. He laughed like he hadn't laughed in ages. To anyone carefull enough to notice, a set of fangs glinted in the moonlight as he did this.
"My god, kid" He says between gasps. Laughing so hard had left him brethless. "That is the second duel I have ever lost. You are good..."

Wolf laughed, but only at the last comment. "Seriously? Hahah, that's awesome." His thoughts wandered. Now... Is there going to be a massive fight, or just two guitarists? Wolf glanced at the katana crudely attached to his guitar. I hope not. He spoke again. "Well, that was one duel, eh? You're not too bad yourself." Wolf added a quiet 'Heheheh...' between the word 'eh?' and 'You're', which topped it all off.

Zero finally catches his breath. He picks up his guitar and slings it over his back.
"Listen kid. I don't care who you are, or what you want in life, but anyone with the kind of drive that you have deserves my respect. If you ever need anything, like a place to stay or someone to rock out with, just find me. I live over on 217 Prospect street. Appartment number 12.
He turns around and walks out of the park, picking up his now destroyed amp as he passes it. "Good luck, kid" he calls over his sholder.

Wolf nodded. "I may see you soon, then." He quickly took out a pen and notebook, and jotted down the address quickly. It was only a glimpse of a side of Wolf that was almost never out. "You have good luck, too." He then looked around, a small smile on his face with the knowledge that he had a new friend. Which Wolf then realized that he didn't know his name. Wow...I really forgot to mention that? And the eyelids are getting heavy...Minuswell get a good night's sleep, as long as I don't die, considering it is 3 days from my birthday... He began walking towards the address that was written hastily on the dirty notebook. ((Exit:City))
