Actually I was going to apply at a nearby crematorium....but..yeah. They just had this thing about not wanting me near dead bodies because I apparently don't have enough respect for the dead or some jazz. Poking them too much and all.
That, and I'm terribly scared of dead bodies. Human ones at least. Up until just this year I had a serious phobia of zombies, to the point where if I was home alone I'd carry something with me in case I had to smash one. ^^;;

Smashing zombies is overall ineffective. While your arm is extended, you leave yourself open. Plus, they could grab the extended arm and feast away. That's why in movies they always use guns. *Star flies above head - "The more you know"*

Guns are ineffective to an astounding degree. A chainsaw is the weapon of choice, or something like an axe. Guns, well, think about it. In an average tiyn town of 10,000 people, assuming at least half are infected, with perfect headshots every time you still need 5000 bullets which no one person can carry, and even then you have to look at reloading and fighting off other survivors. No, maybe one shotgun or pistol for an emergency or suicide, but aside from that I'd using a chainsaw to hack through all who oppose me. Let them horde, and let my screams fill the air as soon as my chainsaw is too clogged with rotting flesh to run properly.

Actually, KB, chainsaw = bad. The noise generated from the grumbling engine will bring every zombie within a good half mile straight down ontop of you. Zombies apparently have excellent hearing and seeing, but limited to no sence of touch, taste, or smell. They can see in the dark since they use their entire eye and not just a fraction of it like we living human do.
The best weapon would be stealth, and if you absolutely had to fight one use an axe, pick, or pole arm. Something to keep them away while you attack. Never travel at night, since their vision is so much better than ours, along with their hearing, they'll hear and see you long before you can see or hear them

domokun As long as they're "dead before dawn" it's all good.

@Tegral-Actually, no. I'm planning on going into the forensics feild. ^-^
@Dusty-I have a friend who is scared of zombies. She doesn't even like it if someone makes moaning noises. Good news about freshly dead bodies, though. They go through this process called Rigor Mortis. The body stiffens over a period so if the same thing goes with zombies they'd be unable to move. Bad news it wears off over a period of time.

Dead bodies don't bother me. Well, with two exceptions. If they are brutally murdered, that is disturbing. Plus in the summer, bodies can bloat or shrivel giving off horrible smells. And with bloated bodies their skin comes right off. TwT

I know about that stuff. Thing is, I dunno. Just seen too many shows where bodies rise up from under those white sheets, and I have a terrible imagination. Terrible in that it's over-active.
And on the chainsaw note, you're right Tegral. No matter...I'd survive. First thing I'd do is grab a gas mask, and watch everyone else alive die of disease..then..get up and try and eat me... O___o
Doesn't like it when people moan? Aw man, sucks to be with her. Just kidding, I have a friend named like that as well. She's more scared of zombies than I am.

Moaning would be a nifty psychological weapon, which I think might be the reason why they do it. Well actually it's probably just to alert others that they found a potential food source. The psychological effect comes from the human's fears. After all our greatest fears are those that we know are there and can't see comeing. 3nodding Zombies, to me, seem to be more of a pack hunter...a single zombie, though easily to kill and/avoid, is nothing but get like twenty of them against one person, even ten or five, and suddenly it's no longer so simple. Now you're up against 1/5 odds against opponents that have absolutely no reason to stop, what so ever. They don't need to rest their body, as we humans do, they don't need to worry about over exerting themselves because they don't feel pain when they over work their muscles, like we humans do. The good thing about this is that their muscles can't heal themselves...so they might be extreamly strong when they're first turned but eventually their strength will slacken so much that they probably wouldn't be able to stand let alone grab you with enough force to hold you in place.

Aww you called me sweat heart, but no you don't have to care. I just think it is interesting. owO
@Dusty-Hey at least you're honest about it. I'm trying to be brave and saying I wouldn't be bothered. But I think the truth is if someone no matter who was faced with a zombie they'd piss themselves. To be bland.
I should have realized I would get a comment by writing moaning. xd
'I don't have a dirty mind just a dirty mouth...wait that came out wrong.' Just had to add that. ^w^
