Someone sure does. Considering the comedy of tragedys that happened after THAT, I thought maybe you'd have some input. It seems rather interesting to me that, in the cosmic scheme of things, suddenly heroes started dropping like flies and villains were being as helpful as EMT's, inexplicably.
What DO devils do for fun, Morningstar?

Don't do any of that anymore, eh? No interaction with 'the little people' at all?
Tell me, Lucifer. Why did someone like you decide to attend Wally West's birthday party?

The interaction is usually boring, but perhaps I'd made a decision it was time to see what the little people were up to.

Perhaps? Not even sure what you were thinking that day? Well, maybe if we go over it and review, you'll be a little more sure about things. Why don't you start at the beginning and tell me how April 8th went for Lucifer Morningstar.

I'll spare you some of the bigger details, running a multiverse takes quite a bit of energy and I'm sure you wouldn't want to embroil yourself in my politics. I spent the morning clearing the riff raff out of my creation and gave myself the afternoon off. I went to visit Duma to see how he was getting on without the stewardship of hell to worry about and then went back to Lux to settle some personal affair. I tired of that after a while and recalled Pharamond telling me about the West event and went to see it for myself. I arrived and not long after, everyone was running about claiming that the guest of honor had been murdered.

Yes, I'm sure running your own universe can get pretty tiring. West, with his puny little guild couldn't possibly have had any sort of idea the many stresses and trials true leadership command.
What did you think of West?

Entirely too optimistic for his own good I'd say. He really should have seen this coming. He let's just about anyone with a cape and a pair of dyed underoos into this guild.

So you think West got what was coming to him. That, really, he deserved it.

I'm saying that West was careless. Careless people rarely last long and if he were less careless, well then there wouldn't have to have been a funeral, would there?
