Jumping form building to building faster then a human eye could catch. He stopped on the roof of a large building sitting he stood there and looked back over the path that he came from. He held the smell of the graveyard in his nostrils from the park and at the time he gave it no thought. The wind pushed his platinum hair around his face his eyes saw several humans who would die soon and go to hell, they didn't interest.

Amelia walked out of the alchohol drenched bar and into an alley. She started climbing up the wall. She went at a leisurly pace, if a human cared to look they would see her but then again, humans never care to look. She let her self breath once she was on the roof, cleansing her lungs of the alchohol poisoned air. She jumped across the roof tops until the scent of the decomposing dead was just barely present. She stopped and sat down, taking of the cap that hid her ears.

Desaecula Armand bit his lips to keep from laughing at the display... until he saw cossette grab her head and heard that melodic voice squeak. he tighteneed the last nut on the small device and dangled it from a chain on his hip, standing up on the gargoyle. "SO... you really havent cahnged your mannerisms since the old days... thats not good, cossette, dear...you need to change if you ever want to eb able to work without these peoples help..." Armand knew she could hear him. he was smiling wickedly and held the device in his hand, putting his hand in the slot and grasping the handle inside. there was a click, and a bright light started to flow within the canisters of holy items inside it. he pointed it down to the streets inbetween all that was happening, rthere was five feet in every direction where he aimed. this was gogin to be a display of power, something for cossette to go tattle on luther about. because while they worked on their little plan, armand was workign on his...the ANGEL HAMMER. a mystical weapon of holy energy. "E nomine patris et fili et spiritus sancti. i send this light from god on high. shining silver, chasing darkness. gods right hand, and ANGELS HAMMER!" HE chanted, yellign the last part as the entire contraption the size of a soccer ball glowed intense gold and a beam of light shot forth, striking the ground in a circle about 5 feet in diameter. the light ended as armand laughed wickedly, his caped trenchcoat of deep beetle green flowign behind him from the backlashing power of this weapon. the energy stopped and he leaped down from his position onto a rooftop below, leaping into an alley way with a grin. the spot that had been fired upon was infront of cossette... and the street looked as if the sun was shining on that spot, even though it was night everywhere else. it put off a fair bit of heat too. Armand unclenched his fist from the device that had wrought this power, and saw his hand was burnt rather badly. he peeled his hand off the handle and left par to f his skin. as the device thudded against his thigh ont eh cahin that held it, he stared at his hand. he saw bone in his palm. "w-what?" He muttered in horror at the smell. that 3 foto circle of daylight had just calimed the use of his hand for a week. || Other posters involved in this incident, just pretend it didn't happen ... Pathetic Cosette, such a childish vampire; to think that she was had a century of blood paved life under her. Yet she behaved so pathetically. It was sad that a girl that would have achieved wisdom status if she had been mortal still behaved as such infant. The dark gift, the fact that to survive you had to take the life from your previous comrades, generally hardened the hearts and minds of vampires. So it was not that age took away the sense of fun in vampires, it was the blood that covered their beings. The blood that came from those who were once the brethren, the sacrifices of your own dark soul, it would harden any man. But after a few years of acceptance there are always those that took great pleasure in the hunting and killing of humans, and then they begin taking satisfaction in playing with their meals; soon after they might just play without feeding.
Alasdair had his own sense of morals and pride, he could thank the years he spent inside the Japanese coven. He knew how to honor those true warriors, yet he also learned how to treat with those weaklings that were easy pickings. To give the quick and gentle death those who had proven themselves on the battlefield, either by intelligence, strength or courage, and to play with those who had shamed themselves. To play was to torture, to taunt, to use the enemy… There are countless techniques of “fun” that he had been shown. Stan would have received the swift death, for his courage and intelligence shown in battle. After all, he had discovered Cosette’s monumental weakness; her massive ego and the fact that she could not withstand the test of time in a battle. He had rightfully won the battle.
It seemed that Alasdair was not the only one that saw how weak Cosette was, Hideyo also wanted to scold the pitiful vampire. It must have been the Japanese culture that provoked those instincts. Since the eldest vampires in the coven accustomed to be looked up to by the other vampires, they were treated as sensei. So when they saw a mission failure as meaningful as the one before Alasdair, they would make sure the weaker vampire understood his faults so that through punishment they could grow. But then again this was centuries ago, and not all the elder vampires contributed.
But when Hideyo stepped in and began talking to Cosette, Alasdair stood up and took a few steps back. He was moving into the background of the confrontation between the female vampires. And in the background he stayed after little Cosette took the unconscious hunter by the frail wrist and dragged him back to the fire escape. It was pathetic to see the small vampire struggle with the body of the hunter. It seemed that the drug weakened the host more than they actually gave in power. To see a century old vampire struggle with the weight of a human was just sad, so sad that Alasdair could not help but grin.
Then Hideyo made her offer of safety, the offer that any sane wise vampire would take in an instant. It was not every day that an almost millenary vampire would offer shelter to a disrespectful and highly unworthy vampire. But once she refused, Alasdair knew he could not let Cosette just drag the hunter’s body all around the city, he would not let her leave the rooftop without finishing off, or leaving him. So before she got any closer to the stairs, Alasdair vanished into the shadows and threw his sword on her path. His sword flew from out of the sky and pierced the concrete a few feet from the girl; it was closer to the fire escape than it was to the other vampire. Then Alasdair appeared from the shadows, he materialized on the first step on the roof, blocking any step for her. “You will not take that hunter from this building…Either dispose of him now or leave him. I cannot allow you to drag him all around the city… Junkie.”

((You need to post faster or I'm going to get bored and have Cos ditch the scene. XP))
Cosette wasn't having trouble supporting Stan's dead weight because she was weak, but due to the horrendous distractions. It was every time a car passed honking or there was a siren in the distant echoes of the city that Cosette would pause or grimace and end up loosing her normally iron strong grip on Stan's wrists. “Alasdair” Cosette started, pulling those eerie blue eyes from the ground to set them on Alasdair, Who was showing off and demonstrating all his fancy sword throwing skills. Cosette clearly wasn't impressed or the least bit less determined with her 'task' at hand. Alasdair suggesting otherwise simply caused her to want to keep Stan alive all the more. “I'm not a warrior, So don't speak down to me as such. I'm not to be held to the same standards or rules. I have no obligation to obey you. You can try too bully me around and stop me, but I wasn't bluffing when I told the Hunter I could dodge a bullet at point blank range. You, obviously can not considering the dreadful mess on your coat. It's proof enough that I could outrun you...without the aid of the drug.” Cosette's tone was calm, composed despite the situation. She wasn't always the bratty, narcissistic and spark tongued girl, This was one of those are moments when she dropped then entire act and allowed the years of her age shine through “Or, If would make you feel better to know, I'll turn him as soon as I am somewhere a bit more quiet. So that he isn't being 'left alive'.” Now, That part was a complete and utter lie; But Cosette was a splendid actress. She had once been prodigy material, a triple-threat stage girl; The very thing that had landed her in this entire mess a century ago. Lying was as second nature to her as slaughter. She smoothed over the fib with a with a convincing glance of her blue eyes, Simply waiting for Alasdair move out of her way.

Ceon walked through the city with a large, bulky trash bag slungover his shoulder. He stopped by at a storage center and went up the the farthest back garage. He flipped out a key from his wallet and unlocked the door. Lifting up the door, he smiled as he saw his black Mercedes-Benz. He hadn't used this for so long, probably not since Gabriel was born. He took another key out of his wallet and started up the car. He drove out onto the streets and down to the old weapon shop he went to before he met Layna.
He walked in, and his old friend, Allonso, immediately greeted him, "Ceon! My old freeend. How arr you been, yes?" Ceon smilled and hugged his Transylvanian friend. "I've been.......somewhat fine. So what new models do you have today?" Allonso smiled with glee as he led Ceon to the back of the store. He pulled out a large box, revealing a shotgun and some shells. Is new street-sweeper, all thee way frooom Russia. And these are new prototype shells, Each pellet in every shell contains UV liquid, and day pellets breeeek oopen eafter five secoonds. Is nice, yes?" Ceon held the street-sweepers in his hands, "It's very nice. I'll take it. And I believe I sent an order in about three years ago for the swords? Just ring all of it up." Allonso boxed the gun and shells and brought it up to the register along with two sheathed rapiers. Ceon slid one of his cards along the slot and carried them out to his car. He waved goodbye to Allonso and Allonso waved back, a toothy grin showing." (exit: Sybil's apartment)

Jack stared at the Cossette and Alasdair arguing. His eyes were narrow, almost with some boredom. If anything, he found the situation somewhat pointless. As he hid in the shadows, he figured it was time to step out. His hazel eyes shown brightly as he stepped into the dim light that was cast about. He coughed quietly to catch their attention.
"Hey, if you two are done fighting, I think its best you stop all of this before before a flurry of hunters start pouring in."
He pulled out a crucifix that he had worn and tapped it, trying to give them a hint. As a guardian, he never acted on anything except for events that posed a viable threat.
"Look, I'm not here to cause trouble. That's not my job. My job is to protect people from anything that might escalate into something... threatening. And right now... well, I gotta say it looks like things are escalating in a bad direction."

Daiguren looked at the people wondering the streets and then turned and walked down the stares of the building and on the street. He quickly blended into the crowds walking in them made him feel as if he wasn't something else, but one of them. He stopped dead in his tracks at a point and realized that he could never be one of them and that he had no want to be one in the first place.

As soon as Cosette’s eerie blue eyes set upon Alasdair, a grin formed on the vampire’s lips. It was a grin for the things to come, the fabulous show that Cosette was going to put on. Alasdair found amusing the sudden change of tone, as if she had suddenly gotten serious and he was supposed to be afraid of her. But the fact was that she was still weak; weak from the abuse of the drug, weak from the lack of years, and weak because of her attitude. So Alasdair listened to her with a grin painted on his face.
Then a sudden burst of laughter was contained, contained because it would embarrass Cosette to know that Alasdair had left the bullets hit his chest. He had wanted to test the resistance of the coat, and he was trained never to show the full extent of your abilities to those that are not about to be killed. That was the reason why he did not so masterfully dodged the bullets, or even redirect them towards the tiny vampire. It would have been a piece of cake really, just a gentle tap with the side of the sword at the perfect time and the bullet would have been flying off to wherever he desired.
But Alasdair maintained his ancient reserve. He was listening with a grin on his lips and the laughter was successfully hidden. It was easy. Then Alasdair’s violet eyes moved from Cosette’s blue orbs. His eyes turned to the other vampire that came out of the shadows. Alasdair had noticed him a bit before, but paid little attention. He guessed that he would run at the sight of three very powerful vampires, but it seemed the night was filled with brave hunters.
Such arrogance in the obvious hunter’s voice, to think that he was actually thinking that he could make us do anything he wanted. A traitor was worst than trash, and how fortunate that a traitor had graced then with his presence.
While the hunter was still speaking Alasdair removed his Dessert Eagle from his back holster, he took it out faster than the eye could see, and it was marvelous. Alasdair had his gun drawn, but pointed to the ground beside him. He grinned once again and looked at Cosette. Once his eyes met hers, he fired three UV bullets into the ground. It was not harm anyone, but he knew that Cosette had a horrible headache, and the loud noices barely a few feet away would make her go crazy. Alasdair expected it. As for the hunter, Alasdair could care less about him.

“Well, It's so very lovely that you find me me hilarious. Saves you the wasted money on going to the cinema and watching comedy on those monster screens, hm?” Cosette muttered, her voice so flat and unamused. He shouldn't have extended the effort to smoother his laughter, The wide cheesy grin plastered across his face was enough to hint at just what he was thinking. She was growing terribly bored with Alasdair's vocalized threats when all she wanted to do was just leave, Go somehow quiet and tie up her new toy. Cosette attention wavered to the other vampire and with one flicker of and up and down glance, she sized up the man. Right, And Alasdair called her pathetic. At least she wasn't a traitor prancing around New York promoting world peace. Cosette rolled her eyes, about to open her mouth to dismiss the irritation when a sharp and painfully loud noise tore through the air not once, But three times. She dropped Stan to cover her ears just as a traumatized little squeak echoed from her lips.
“Seriously, Act your age.” Cosette groaned, Her voice nearly incoherent as she swooped down to pick up Stan. She mumbled the entire time, Saying something about idiots and their shiny pansy weapons. Once she had Stan's unconscious body draped over her slender shoulders again, She stuck her tongue out at Alasdair in one last childish display and then seemingly, Just vanished.

Jack stared at the two as they simply disappeared. He grinned slightly as he gave a toothy grin, showing off his fangs as he shook his head. He wondered if they knew he was a vampire... a rather reluctant one at that. He laughed quietly as he shook his head. He should have figured something like that would happen. He had been in New York for a while. He knew who was the good, the bad, and the ugly for the most part. Of course, with the way the city was turning over the past couple of years, the lines were slowly blurring together. All he could see now were ambiguous shades of gray at this point. He sighed silently as he looked towards a broken a window. He quickly ran towards it and jumped out, for the seconds that he fell, the wind seemed to grow heavy for the brief time. His coat flapped behind as the air picked up before landing with a loud thud. He grunted silently as he looked around. It seemed fairly clear now. Looked like he didn't have any other reason to be there. He scoffed silently as he disappeared.
"The good guys never get any attention."

Hideyo obviously hadn't been hurt by Cosette denying her offer, in fact the smirk afterwards that almost said "I told you so" signified that she'd known that it would happen and she merely asked the question to prove her point. Cosette had fallen for the bait harshly and fell right into the trap afterwards, however, Hideyo's offer to her had been legitimate so it wasn't exactly as though Hideyo was losing something, the only person that'd had something to gain from Hideyo's offer was Cosette and since she was too proud and stubborn to do so, she suffered the consequences of the various noises that resulted to assail her. Watching Cosette flinch at almost every noise brought a wicked smirk to Hideyo's face though she didn't preoccupy the remainder of her time obsessing over the blonde-haired vampire, after all, attention was what she wanted.
She also smiled when Alasdair attempted to make a big deal out of Cosette trying to drag the human away so that he could serve as her little play toy and God knew what else. Perhaps he'd turn into some little sex toy as well though she highly doubted it since Cosette seemed to be the type who wouldn't want someone else touching her at all. It was amusing to Hideyo since the little vampire disliked spreading blood all over the place and to be a vampire meant that you were supposed to become accustomed to creating messes. Not every feeding was going to be a clean one and not every struggle was going to be ended without receiving a few bruises. But that was just as life was, life was a struggle to survive and be the fittest of all and no one escaped from life's cruelties and no one escaped without scars of some sort.
Hideyo took next to no notice toward the stranger and traitor that'd decided to make his bold entrance and then simply left after not being acknowledged. Did he seriously think he had control over them and did he believe he even stood a chance up against two vampires that were certainly much older and stronger than he was? Fools were fools and fools certainly deserved to learn their lessons and it was unfortunate that she hadn't pursued him to teach him that lesson, after all, he probably wouldn't have expected someone to come after him without any warning seeing as she'd just been standing there. However, she decided against chasing the fool since he really wasn't worth her time and she'd allow him to live on a little longer deluding himself into believing that he had control over the vampires of New York city.
When Cosette squeaked at the gun shots, Hideyo was not even paying attention any longer, having lost interest in the small blonde vampire. After all, she wasn't exactly as interesting as Luther or Alasdair seemed to make her out to be, sure she was another pretty face but she supposed that it couldn't be helped. Most men were the same and they'd fall for some cute little doll-faced girl with blonde hair and blue eyes because she seemed so delicate and they could be her big strong man. Whatever was so entrancing about her didn't seem to reach Hideyo so she lost interest in her after a while and just ended up piddling off somewhere not even doing anything in particular.

Amelia sat on the roof of an apartment building staring at the stars. She found every constalation she knew five times over. She was imprinting the memory of the sky to herself so that when the time came to bury herself she would remember it. "If you'd eat normally this wouldn't happen." She argued with herself. She sighed. "It was that damned lycans fault!" She said, referring to a lycan she'd met during her stay in Japan. "I hope she's dead now." She grumbled. She saw a shooting star. "Hm, without highplaces and good eyesight I wouldn't be able to see the stars at all. This city doesn't suit me." She closed her eyes and searched her memories.
