What as he doing? Supposed to be thinking, acctualy he was waiting for River to return. With hopeful a new play mate for him~ she seemed a little apprehesive about the whole ordeal but It made kaden happy she was thinking of him and him only. Just like he imagined she would but now that there is another kid, would all her energy go into the new thing then him? He shivered. "...No, Toto-san loves me." He said sharply to the air if it gets bad he'll fight over her surely he wouldn't have to. Blinking he yawned and covered his mouth with his hand before returning it to it's stop on the hard wood.

Baizou walked up on the back porch of the Muffin and glanced back at his wife as she followed with the dog. He had this inexplicable energy that powered the redhead even with only a few hours of sleep that night. He gazed at Ellie with a content smile, leaning against the railing of the porch as he rolled up the cuffs of his shirt to his elbows.

Ellie blushed pink as she looked up at her husband, and approached the back door of the muffin. Letting Angel run along inside, she stepped back over to her husband. Hands sliding up his shirt-clad chest, they entwined into his hair, pulling his head down so that she could kiss him. Pulling back she stood like that for a few moments, happily grinning up at him. "Yeah, I love you too." she said, in response to the look in his eyes. Sliding her hand into his, she held the door open, and beckoned him in.

Baizou smiled even wider through her kiss, sliding his hands up to her cheeks. It was all so perfect... except for that heat. Being the baby duck he was, Ellie didn't have to ask for him to follow her inside, "Thank you, my love." He said, letting out a relaxed sigh as the cool air from the ceiling fans hit his face. He kissed her cheek and moved out of the way so that she could close the door. "How was your night?" He asked with a hint of a smirk. He knew exactly how her night was; he'd had the same one, but he wanted to hear her answer.

"Oh?" she asked, as if she'd forgotten. Pulling the door shut behind her, she laughed as she snuggled up to her husband. "My night was better than perfect. Absolutely unforgettable." Smirking, she let her hands wrap around his waist, and nose to nuzzle into his chest.

Baizou smiled and curled his tail around her legs, "I am glad... I, too, had an amazing night." he murmured, bending in for another kiss. "My beautiful wife..." He whispered, sliding his fingers through her hair. "Mm, but I smell like... not clean..." He murmured, trying to sum up the experience of their impromptu camping trip in one adjective. He failed. "I think I will go shower." He announced before reluctantly slipping away from her to go up the stairs.

It was a fickle thing, Really and It didn't bother River as much as it really seemed to bother Kaden. It was her trying and he knew that- but he couldn't expect things from her, Since he was Angry. She'd arrived back farily late and scooped him up into her arms. She didn't bother with waking him up there was no point to that. He was sleeping and when she put him in her room she left him in there.
"..." why was she running away from Kaden? She loved the boy but she couldn't help but think the colors on her fingers are running away down the drain and there was no point in catching them- thrilling isn't it? Was her painting done? No it wasn't and she couldn't help but forget what she was painting. A break almost. It's like something inside her called her to leave him alone- let him breath though he could enough. Did he have enough with her? Or did she crave something she'd done before? The latter she chose the latter and took it upon her self the sit at the bar and think.

"Ah, yes. I'll go up to shower in a bit. Come an dget me when you're done!" she called after him, while plopping down upon a stool. Stretching with a yawn, Ellie was not tired, b ut a bit sleepy. Her brain buzzed like it never had done before, yet, her limbs ached her to go to sleep.

At the top of the stairs, both Caradoc's and Daiki's irritated voices could be heard.

"No! Stop! Let me go! I can do this!" Daiki's voice was first

"Do this? You couldn't even get out from under the bed without tripping all over yourself." Caradoc's voice shot back. "Someone downstairs will know what to do and I'm going to help you."

Daiki's voice let out an agitated moan, "Oh yes, because you're soooo much better at walking than I am at crawling."

"I am, actually. Unlike you, I practice my magic before trying it on other people!"

She held a knife it was a kitchen knife- not the best of things but it was good enough. The cheese knife short bladed and small enough to play with in her fingers. "Is it me?" She questioned faintly annoyed with herself. Her brain didn't seem like it was working she couldn't stop thinking of that one feeling, the paint it's running thin as blood of medications. She was so confused it was redculous she needed Trina, someone she could talk to someone who Understands confusion. Because the others have lives she bent to not bothering them.
Though without realizing it she was slowly cutting Kanji into her arm down it, her blow seeped from the wounds and down her arm onto the counter below it. She ignored the dark sting she got and continued with the spell down her arm.
"What?.." River murmured looking up at the stairs, Eye brown raised. "Hello?"

Ever walked in the back door and looked to his sister. "What's going on?" Only responding with his shrug, it seemed evident that Ever would have to investigate. Walking to the bottom of the stairs and looking up, he cupped a hand to his mouth. "You alright up there?"

Daiki looked up first from the tangle of white limbs and scales at the top of the stairs.

"Yes!" Caradoc called down, picking up Daiki while his guard was down and starting to carry him down the stairs after waving to River. "Well, actually there is something quite off."

"Let go! Let go! I can do it on my own, you a**!" It was not in Daiki's nature to swear, so the foul word sounded odd on his forked tongue.

"It took me weeks to master stairs and I'll not have you all bruised up." He said calmly as he nodded politely to Ever.

Daiki finally went limp over the other's shoulder and waved weakly at the elven boy. "Hello, love. Bit of a backfire playing with magic today."

Ever blinks a few times at the one called Daiki, working it through in his head. "Now you know you're not to go and get yourself changed bodies while I'm gone.." Rolling his eyes, he looked between the two. "Mmhm.. Just odd..."
PostPosted: Wed Aug 01, 2007 1:29 pm

Sighing River rubbed her head watching the stairs, then Ever, with a strange look. What had happened to the little Robot man and why did the Snakes voice sound so annoyed. No, it's did she want to know? She blinked, wow where they? "Did you like switch rolls in each others lives to see how it would go? Or was this an accident?" River mused clearly enjoying this. "How amusing..." She pointed a finger, wiggling it a bit eyes plain a smile crossing her lips no, this was too good to skip out on. The blood on her arms slowly started to dry the knife having stopped stateing over her skin, the carved spell or curse, almost finished on her forearm.

Something was wrong. The feeling swirled through the maze of Trina’s mind, where she was trapped, lost, profoundly disturbed. Wrongness. Something…what? What was it? Trina sat bolt right in bed moments later, instantly alert, damn near overwhelmed. “Trina?” The woman turned her head, saw Maara sitting on the floor, holding crayons and looking worried. It occurred to her that the cat girl had been calling her name for sometime, had probably been watching Trina in her nightmare. Trina said nothing, merely blinked. “Are you okay?” Maara pressed, grip tightening on the crayon. “Yes.” Trina said, sliding off the bed. “Oh…okay…” Maara mumbled as Trina went into the bathroom, aware that Maara was still watching her. At the sink, Trina turned on the water, filling a glass and emptied it in a breath. She set it down again, surprised to see the swirls and delicate lines of the blue marks on her arms. They weren’t spreading anymore, but Trina was still was surprised to see them there. She didn’t know it, but the edges of her eyes had lightened, a blue rim around the dark. Trina traced a mark, frowning ever so slightly. She felt more together today, and wanted to be alone, but Maara was in her room. Trina sighed. Oh well. No one really spoke to her much anyway. Just River, and Trina never minded River. She exited the bathroom, pausing near Maara to watch her color. Maara’s orange curls tumbled across her back and shoulders, a tangle that could not be duplicated. “Better?” The cat girl asked, tail swaying. “Yes. Much better.” Trina assured her, eyes already darkening again as she watched the picture being created. Even the unrealistic colors of crayon drawings drew her attention, but not like other things. “You’re acting all…knowy again.” Maara said, picking up a purple crayon and coloring in the sky. “Am I?” Trina said, her way of fielding the unspoken question. “Yeah. I’m going to color more pictures.” Maara said, looking up again, thoughtful. “Alright. I’ll be downstairs if…you find you require anything.” Trina said softly, smiling faintly. Maara beamed, as if she considered a smile from Trina some sort of treasure. “’Kay!” She chirped, and Trina headed out the door.
